Gigi, give me another one, Jessica grunted as she held up an empty bottle of Budweiser.
Gigi shook her head as she tried to wrestle Jessica, hoping to retrieve the bottle from her grip, I think youve had enough, sweetie. Thats your fifth one tonight.
Jessica was practically falling off her chair. She tried to pull herself up as she groaned, Come on. Its Friday night. Dont be such a party pooper. The more I drink, the more The Starlight Bar makes money right?
Its not like you to drink so much, Gigi said staring at Jessica with a look of concern, does this have something to do with Louis? she knew Jessica like that back of her hand. Gigi was like Jesss fifth sister.
Shut up! Dont you ever mention that loser again, Jessica screamed as she fell over onto the counter.
Gigi let out a sigh and mumbled to herself, I guess it does...
Gigi, we need you in here, Sharon hollered from the back room of the bar, Me and Bobo cant seem to find the bottle of Russian Vodka you ordered last week for Mr. Chun.
Gigi rolled her eyes and yelled back, Hold on, girls. Ill be right there. She paused then looked at Jessica, who was now passed out on the bar. Stay here, Jess. I gotta help my waitresses. Ill be right back.
The only reply she got was a little grunt, when listened carefully, can made out into an uh huh. Gigi shook her head and went into the back room. When she was out of site, Jessica sat up and ordered the bartender to give her another beer.
As she tried to chug down the content of the bottle with one gulp, two strange looking men approached her, eyeing her from head to toe. A man with blond hair licked his lips in desire as the other man, who had silver hair, sat down in the stool next to Jessica. He placed his arm inappropriately around her waist and pulling her closer to him.
Hey hottie, whats a pretty girl like you doing alone on a night like this? The silver haired man asked in a deep, seductive voice.
The blond one came and sat down on the other side of Jessica, pushing the other mans hand away, replacing the spot with his own prying hands, You interested in a threesome, hun?
F**k off pervert, Jessica grunted, Before I kick your ass. She immediately toppled over as soon as she finished her sentence. If she wasnt supposedly hammered, these two losers wouldnt stand a chance.
Oh. Shes a feisty one. I kinda like that, the blond guy said, with an obscene grin on his horny face. He placed his hands on Jessicas thigh while grazing it gently. Even in her drunken state, his touch still sent shivers down her spine.
Get your f**king hands off her, a hefty voice demanded assertively. The voice echoed from behind the two men as they jerked their head around to see who had the guts to tell them what to do. Although she was wasted, Jessica could still make out Louis handsome face beneath the dim lights in the bar. She was relieved, yet angry to see him standing there in front of her weary eyes.
The guy with silver hair stood up from the stool, flexed his chest and squeezed his fist until his knuckles were white. He shoved his face into Louiss and shouted, Or what? Who do the f**k do you think you are?
Louis reached into his jacket then flashed his police badge under the guys nose. The two men just looked at each other and laughed.
Cop? So what if youre a cop? We were just having a friendly conversation. Not breaking the law, scoffed the blond man.
Well, from where I was standing, I could hear my GIRLFRIEND telling you to f**k off. Louiss voice was loud and clear.
The guy with blond hair was about to make a comeback, but another man, who looked slightly older approached them. He pulled the blond one aside and whispered, Lets go Patrick. The boss warned us about causing shit with cops. Besides, this chick is off limits.
The blond guy simmered down and pointed his finger at Louiss face. Youre lucky, was the only thing he could say before his two friends hauled him out of bar.
Louis turned is attention back to Jessica, only to find her seat empty. He frantically looked around only to find no sign of her anywhere. He ran up the bartender and asking frenziedly, Where was the girl that was sitting here just a minute ago!?
The bartender set down the crystal champagne glass he was wiping and looked at Louis, who was sweating like he just ran a marathon, You mean the really hot drunk girl? She left just as you people were arguing.
Before the bartender could utter another word, Louis bolted out the front door. As soon as he set foot outside, Louis looked from left to right, hoping to spot Jessicas face. Hes never felt to scared in his entire life. The feeling of losing Jessica was worse than the time he had a gun held to his head. His feelings for her were now suddenly as clear as day. Isnt it funny you only realize what you had was important to you only when its gone?
Louiss eyes dawdled towards the pier across the street, and sure enough, Jessica was hanging on to the rails along the river for support as she tried not to fall. He dashed towards her direction, disregarding the honking of oncoming cars as he illegally jay walked across the street.
You had me worried sick! Why did you leave without telling me? Louis demanded in a tone mixed with anger and relief once he reached her side.
Jessica tried to stand up with her hand still fixed on the rail. She looked at Louiss face and laughed sarcastically, Tell you! Who do you think you are? Youre not my mom, dad, brother, or BOYFRIEND.
She lunged towards Louis, trying to push him away. Shes one very violent drunk. In the attempt to shove him, Jessica tripped on a rock and fell over right into his body. Louis placed a hand on her back, supporting her unstable figure.
She tried to force him away with whats left of her remaining strength. Get lost! I dont need you, she screamed as she stumbled onto the sidewalk.
BUT I NEED YOU!! Louis bellowed. He could feel his temperature rising. Louis had never admitted his feelings to anyone before. It had always been the other way around. Its hard for a man with an ego as big as Louiss to pour his heart out to anyone.
HA. Dont make me throw up, Jessica derided, I may be a little tipsy, but Im not stupid!
He ran up to her and grabbed on to her shoulders tightly. He then forced her body to turn around so that she was face to face with him. I DO NEED YOU, Louis yelled into her pretty face, I know this isnt the right time to confess my feelings but Im telling the truth!
He looked into her big beautiful eyes, waiting for a reaction but all she gave him was a blank stare.
Ever since the day you fell into my arms in that elevator, I cant seem to erase your face from my mind. I know I was dumb before. I didnt know what I wanted, but now I do!! And I want you! Forever! Louis halted, trying to catch his breath.
Prove it, Jessica challenged, while she backed further away from him.
Before she could take in another step, Louis grabbed her face and pulled her in towards his until they were skin to skin. He caressed her lips with is own as he held on to her cheeks with both his hands. Jessica was shocked at first, but soon closed her eyes as she tried to absorb the passion that was flowing from his touch to her body. The osculation lasted for about five minutes-the best five minutes of their lives.
Jessica pulled away, catching her breath, as Louis slipped his hands down to her hips. She looked into directly his eyes and whispered,You better remember what you told me tonight. Jessica reached into her pocket, pulling out her mini silver recorder, Cuz I have it all on tape.
Louis resembled a deer caught in the headlights as he stared at the recorder in her hands. But...but...I thought you were...whats that for?
Well, Im actually undercover right now. I was trying to catch those two guys who were hitting on me, but you came in and ruined the mission. Jessica halted to examine Louiss facial expression. He looked so cute when hes confused.
Louis tried to consume the information Jessica just told him. He stuttered as he tried to make sense out of the events that just happened, But...but...I thought.
You thought I was wasted? Ha! You think a few beers can me drunk? Jessica paused to stare intently at Louis, Do you regret saying all those things to me?
Louis shook his head and stared at his shoes, No. Its just that, its easier and less embarrassing for me to say how I feel when I know youre drunk. The dignified captain was now red as a tomato. Never in his life had he ever felt so embarrassed.
Jessica walked up to him slowly and placed her petite hands onto his burly shoulders, If you meant what you said before, can you say it again?
Louis looked deep into her eyes as he whispered, I love you. I always will.
As the reflection from the lights shone in the river, Louis embraced Jessica tightly in arms and will never letting her go.

Sorry Tavia, but I dont feel to hot tonight... I think Ill go home and take a nap...maybe I have the flu, Ron lied as he spoke into his cell phone.
Aw, but you never spend time with me anymore, Tavia whined from the other line, you better not be spending time with the whore, Michelle.
Ron was beginning to get irritated. Tavia was his best friend, but she could be so unreasonable sometimes.
Dont call her that. Shes actually a really nice girl, Ron defended. If Tavia said this a week ago, he probably wouldve agreed with her.
What the hell are you saying? Are you insane!? Call me after you feel better! Tavias high pitch screech was followed with a click.
Ron sighed and shook his head as he snapped his cell shut. Women, he groaned.
As he wandered aimlessly through the crowded street, call it fate or coincidence because as Ron looked to the end of the pavement, he spotted Michelle helping an old lady cross the street. The more he got to know her, the more he realized how wrong he was about her in the beginning. She was no longer a devil women, but instead, she reminded him of an angel. Goddess Michelle was the right name for her after all. As Ron continued to stare at Michelle, the strange feeling that he had felt for the past few days was growing stronger by the second. He had no idea what this feeling meant and it scared him.
Ron didnt know what got into him as he walked towards Michelles direction. He smiled at her as he placed his hand on the old ladys shoulder, supporting her from the other side. Michelle just stared at him in disbelief as they walked the old lady across the street. Together.
My, its so rare to find nice young people like you two these days, the old lady smiled approvingly at Ron and Michelle. Thank you both very much.
Shortly afterwards, they bid the old lady goodbye as she walked into a building, still waving at the two.
Whoa, its hard to believe you actually have a heart, Michelle teased.
Sheesh...so all this time you thought I was the Grinch? Michelle laughed at Rons lame joke. Her laughter was like music to his ears.
So what are you doing out here anyway? He asked curiously. Michelle had never seen Ron smile so much.
I was on my way to the new arcade that opened up. You wanna come? She pause to realize that she had just invited Ron to spend time with her. Michelle turned beat read and tried to hide her embarrassment by adding, Just so I could kick your ass in Initial D?
Ron let out a sarcastic laugh, Well see. Last one there is a rotten egg. Ron quickly dashed down the street as Michelle immediately followed. As they raced down the street, people stared at them and shook their heads. They resembled a couple of six year old kids.

Vicki leaned her head onto Alecs shoulder as they cuddled on his couch watching The Note Book. As the ending drew closer, Alec could see steady streams of tears flow down Vickis cheeks.
Alec pulled her closer to his body as he reached for the box of napkin sitting beside the telephone.Aw, come on sweetie. Everyone has to die sometime, and theyre old anyways, he said as he dabbed her tears with a napkin. Men are so clueless.
Are you crazy? Dont you find it sweet how they stayed together even until their very last moment? Vicki sobbed, as she buried her face into Alecs chest. She was the cutest thing in the world, but he still couldnt understand why girls are so sensitive. It was only a movie.
Vicki wiped her tears with the sleeve of her shirt as she stared up at Alec.Dont you wanna stay with ME until MY very last moment? She asked in a stronger, more serious tone.
Alec was caught off guard. He stuttered as he tried to make sense of what Vicki just asked him, I...uh...what moment?
Youre such an idiot, Vicki screamed into his face. Alec still looked at confused as ever. Talk about dumb. Vicki took a deep breath and said, annoyed, The moment before I DIE, stupid. She stared at Alec intently, waiting for an answer.
Of course not, Alec blurted. This was not the answer she expected.
Vickis about had enough of his stupidity. She charged at him and bashed him continuously on the head with throw pillows lining the couch.
You dont wanna be by my side on my deathbed??? Vicki had never been so angry in her life. She kept on hitting Alec with the pillow, hoping to knock some sense into that hollow brain of his.
Alec covered his head with his arms, trying to block her vicious hits. Baby, you didnt let me finish, He tried to say. I meant that I will be the one that dies before you cuz I wouldnt be able to stand the pain of seeing you go first!
Vicki stopped hitting him. A fire extinguisher wouldnt be able to put out the flame that Alec had suddenly added more fuel too.
So you would rather have ME in the PAIN to see you die first!? She said in a loud, angry whisper. She gritted her teeth as she threw a cushion at Alec. Girls were so hard to please when it came to this subject.
Alec instantly shook his head and covered his mouth with both hands. No, no, no, thats not what I meant honey, he muttered loudly from behind his hands. I meant...meant... Before Alec could think of a quick fix, Vicki grabbed her purse and raced away from him. Alec tried to run after her, but suddenly tripped over a pair of dumbbells lying on the ground. Someone should really clean that place up. Alec held his foot in agony as he yelled Vickis name, but she was already out the door.
Stupid movie, he screamed at the TV, Its all your fault!

Ha, I win again! Michelle cheered happily as the words You Win appeared across her screen.
Ron stuck out his tongue and argued, Come on, there must be something wrong with my machine. I dont think my steering wheel works.
Michelle bit her bottom lip tp keep from laughing. You and your lame excuses. Fine, well switch machines. And if I win again, youre treating me to ice cream.
Deal, Ron exclaimed. He smiled as he snuck a glance at Michelles pretty face.

Vicki fumed as she stood in front Alecs apartment building trying to hail a taxi. Shes been standing out there for ten minutes, expecting Alec to chase after her. Of course, he was nowhere to be seen.
How could an idiot like him manage to get a degree in chem? Vicki bellowed through clenched teeth.
Right at that moment, a black car pulled up along the sidewalk that Vicki was standing at. As the vehicle neared her position, she could instantly make out the face of the driver to be no other than Jimmy.
Jimmy stepped on the brakes as he rolled down his window greeting Vicki with a cute smirk.
Hey, what are you doing out here so late? she asked smiling, temporarily forgetting about her anger towards Alec.
Jimmy was grinning from ear to ear as he held up a paper bag, Well, I had a craving for Wendys. He looked at her with puppy dog eyes and suggested, Its hard to get a cab at this hour so want me to give you a lift? Jimmy could feel his face burning up as he stared at Vickis beautiful face, hoping she would grant him the wish to spend just a short moment with her.
Vicki contemplated about whether or not accept Jimmys offer. After all, she doesnt know him that well.
He saw the puzzled look on her face as he teased, Come on. Its not like Im gonna try and sell you. Youll be safer with me than with a cab driver. I am a cop you know.
Vicki sighed as she looked up towards Alecs apartment. Anger was still boiling inside her. She gave in to Jimmys generosity and nodded, Fine, but you have to let me pay you back.
Whatever works for you, Jimmy said as a joke. This must be his lucky day. He got out of his car and ran to the passenger side before Vicki did. He held the door open for her as she climbed aboard his car. He was certainly a gentlemen.

Niki, wait, Jack yelled as he tried to catch up to her. She was now jogging down the street, Pushing away strangers who crossed her path. Niki hated it when people see her crying.
Go away, Niki yelled.
Jack ran with all his might to catch up to her. He stepped in front of Niki, blocking her path as soon as he reached her side. Niki stop, nobody wants to see you like this.
I bet hes happy he made me like this! Niki screamed, pushing Jack away.
They were only dancing...like we were, he tried to conclude, but he wasnt to confident with that explanation.
Niki stared at Jack square in his eyes and questioned, Arent you the least bit angry that I used you to piss him off?
No, Jack breathed, Because I know how much it hurts to see the person you like be with someone else...
