" i remember it like it was yesterday..."
flashback
Two weeks after i turned 18. I was dressed in white. Getting ready to go to the chruch. It was my big day. I was getting married to the man of my dreams...Wang Zi.
The doors opened and the first person i saw was Wang Zi. All dressed in white. He looked just like a prince. I slowly walked towards him. Finally i made it... And we said the words "I Do".
We spent a week together before he was called to go to war. I didnt want him to go but he had to. The day before he left, we talked about what was going to happen when he comes back. He had soo much faith that he was going to come back. Me? i was scared. I didn't want to lose him. But i tried. As much as him, i was hoping for him to come back safely.
Finally, that day came. It was time for Wang Zi to leave. Before he left, i hugged him tightly. He knew that i didnt want him to go. He, himself didn't want to go..but he had to.
Before, he pullled away from our hug, he said one thing to me...
"dont worry, i 'll come back...i wont leave you..."
With that, Wang Zi left....

Wang Zi's POV
I was standing..and the next thing i know, everything went. I was scared. Waht was happening to me? Then i saw a white light. I was walking towards it. I dont know why, but i was...
Finally, i realized...i was leaving..
"No!! Gui Gui...i cant leave her...i promised that i would go back and be with her forever... why is it like this now?"
I tried to stop myself, but it wasnt helping...i kept on walking....
Tears started rolling down my cheeks...
" im so sorry Gui...i've broken my promise...but no matter what, you'll always be my princess...and i will always love you.."
Those were my last words...I've reached the white light....

Gui Gui's Flashback
Day after day, i would wonder when my dear Wang Zi was gonna return home. I missed dearly. Until one day, there was a ring at my door. I was hoping that was him. That he had come back safely. But to my disappointment, it was him. It was someone from the military. He handed me a letter. I opened it... The words caused me to break down.
"this can't be happening to me.."
"Wang Zi's gone...he's not coming back..."
Tears fell non-stop.
I didnt want to believe it..i kept telling myself its just a dream.
"its just a dream...Wang Zi's gonna come back...hes gonna come back and be my prince..."
But even all this lying to myself didn't help. I knew that my prince was really gone. And that he'll never return to be by my side...
End Of flashback
The fallen tears fell into our pictures. I missed him soo much.
" Wang Zi, why'd you leave me? Why'd you have to do?.. i was counting on forever...but now, i'll never know......."
