Chapter 3

Just A Dream version 2- Alternative ending

Truely, Gui Gui knew why everyone was dressed in black and why everyone was crying. The guy that promised he'll be back for their wedding didnt come back. She knew that..she just didnt want to face the fact that it was all true.

Gui Gui dropped down onto the ground in tears.

Gui Gui: Wang Zi...why'd you leave me?...why'd you have to go?..i was counting on forever..but now...i'll never know..

Then a guy from the military walked up to Gui Gui and handed her a folded up flag.

Guy: im sorry..

Gui Gui took the flag and held it closely to her heart..It was all that she had left of him...of Wang Zi..

Beep Beep*

Gui Gui woke up. She felt tears on her face.

Gui Gui: it felt so real...

And of course today was Saturday. Gui Gui and Wang Zi's wedding day. After that dream, Gui Gui was very scared. She didnt want things to turn out like her dream. But even with that fear, she still stayed strong. She got dressed and headed out to the church.

In the car~

Ya Tou: Gui, you ok?
Gui Gui: yeah..im fine.
Ya Tou: you sure? you seem concern.
Gui Gui: its nothing.

Finally they arrived at the church. Gui Gui's been there for an hour and she haven't seen Wang Zi..not even once. She knows she's not suppose to see him anyways until its time but she couldn't help it. The fear of him not being here was eating her alive.

Ya Tou: Gui...its time.
Gui Gui: mm..

In front of the doors~
Gui Gui was super nervous. She didnt know what she would do if her dream came true. The doors were about the open, she put both of her hands together and squeezed it. She was hoping for the best.

And the doors opened. There standing not far away was...Wang Zi. Seeing Wang Zi standing there alive made Gui Gui nearly cry.

Mr. Wu: my dear daughter.

Gui Gui hooks her hand with her fathers and they both start walking down the aile. Soon, they reached Wang Zi. Just before Gui Gui's father gave Gui Gui's hand to Wang Zi...

Mr. Wu: i expect you to take good care of her.
Wang Zi: i will. dont worry.

As soon as Gui Gui felt the warm touch from Wang Zi's hand, a drop of tear fell..slidding down her pink rosy cheek... Wang Zi shows her a smile. Knowing that this was all real, Gui Gui smiles back. Then the preacher said what he had to say. And Gui Gui and Wang Zi said what they had to say.

Wang Zi: I do..
Gui Gui: I do...
Preacher: i now pronounce you man and wife. you may kiss the bride.

With that Wang Zi lifted up Gui Gui's vale exposing Gui Gui's beautiful face. Wang Zi leans in closer to Gui Gui and soon, their lips touch... As soon as their lips touch, tears fell down Gui's face. Wang Zi pulls away and whips off her tears.

Wang Zi: i told you i wont leave you.
Gui Gui: *nods*

Gui Gui gives Wang Zi a hug. The thought that she coulda lost the person she loved more than anything made her realize how important he was to her.

Gui Gui: Wang Zi...i love you.
Wang Zi: i love you too...

After that, claps were heard from the crowd...

Gui Gui finally had it..everything that she's ever wanted. she wouldn't ask for anything more than this..
