Chapter 27

"Where are we heading to?" Mel tapped cheris's shoulder lightly and asked.It was way too strange.Cheris had showed up at her doorstep,dragged and pushed her into the cab without uttering any words.

"Aren't you suppose to tell me some important stuff?" Mel raised her eyebrown.Slience greeted her again.Cheris glanced out of the window without any reply.For no reason,Mel could feel her heart beating rate increased.

"Cheris!What happened?" Mel whispered this time.Somehow,she sensed something bad had occured.Maybe it was the anxiety she noticed from cheris face that lead her to this conclusion...

"Mel.You will know when we reach there." Cheris pulled her eye away from the window and uttered softly.She gazed awhile at Mel.And again,her eyesight returned to the flats,trees and roads outside.

Mel sat back slowly.She remain silent throughout the journey.Only the sound of engine and radio fm was heard.And her thoughts,returned to those moment she had spent with ah ye.Pictures of him kept flashing in and out of her mind.

"Reach.Come on,ah jing waiting for us" Cheris tapped her hand.Mel stared out the window,and her eye glued uncontrollably to the building in front.Why did they came here what?

Cheris dashed her way into the hospital with Mel following closely behind...
