Chapter 30

He could sensed her presence without looking.Ah ye inhaled deeply,breathing in her familiar sweet scent surrounding him.He could clearly feel her soft finger clutching onto his.A small but contented smile slowly appeared on his pale lips.

Mel blinked back the tears,tears which threatened to roll down.Her mind full of thoughts,the moments they spend togather,the laughter they shared,their memories...She tightened her grip on his hand,feeling his warm skin closely against hers.

Ah ye lifted up his eyelid.His hand reaching out for her short silky hair.Finally,she's back beside him again.He exhaled a sign of relieved.He did miss her alot,he realised.

Mel glanced up instantly.Her redden eyes locked between his.Time seems to frozed,their eyes glazed into each others without blinking.Tears slided down her cheek uncontrollably,tears she wanted to hold back...

"Erm...i never bring tissue with me..." Ah ye uttered softly with his dry throat.Hesitate for a second,he stretched out,wiping her tears off with his sleeve gently. "I'm alright,just food poisoning" he added slowly

Mel stared up at him without any reaction,digesting his words into her brain cell.He was okay,she could feel her tense muscle relaxing. "Oh..." she paused,lost of words to say. "erm...You need rest.I better get going.Take care"

"Mel,Wait!" Ah ye called,watching as Mel increased her pace without slowing down.He pulled away the tube on his hand and rushed out,but the tall figure was gone...
