Chapter 35

"Ye..." Jing uttered,while finding himself a comfortable sitting position.His eye scanned through the pub,searching for the familiar figure of cheris.One look of her safely standing beside Mel,he continued "If ya think the aircon not cold enough,could always ask Ken to lower the temperature,he's in charge of here..."

"Know what ya gonna say" Ye murmured,not forgetting to give Jing a hard stare.He knew how idiotic he must have sound just now.The teasing look of friends,the blank look on Mel’s face,he still remembered clearly.He can't seems to find the right words,whenever he saw her,after the break-up...

"I’m not trying to be sarcastic,it just..." Jing paused,his glance dropped on the depressed look of Ye.He swallowed back the words that came into mind,not wanting to discourage his pal.Shifting himself closer to Ye,he gave his buddy a strong pat on his shoulder,a way to show his support.With a sunshine grin,he added “Give it your best shot on stage later!”

Ye turned and faced Jing,returning him a confident smile.Today was the chance to win back her heart.His finger touching the guitar lying beside him,recalling the days he spend practicing it.He’s not going to gave up easily,not without any trying.Taking a look at Mel,his usual cool look seems to soften alittle,he replied "Jing,ya eaten wrong medicine today,since when ya become so good towards me"

"Hey i'm just trying to...!" Jing protested,his sentence interrupted halfway through by what's going on at the other end.Both guys turned towards where the crowd was,where Mel and Kelvin was...

"Mel,give me a chance to take care of you.I promise i'll treat you well." Kelvin uttered,kneeling down with a Ring in hand.His eye sparkled with passion,gazing into Mel's.He repeated "Give me a chance,plz?"

"Stand up Kel.." Mel glanced around the crowd,gesturing him to stand up.Everyone attention returned to her again,just like what happened just now.Kelvin didn't move,his eye fixing directly on her "I will if you give me a chance Mel!"

"Stay like that forever then..." Mel said calmly,without any hesitation.Her hand swing and grabbed her bag smoothly,giving the groups a wave,she turned and leave the pub...
