The door closed.Biting her lips lightly,Mel made her way slowly towards the sofa.Her finger crossed over,tearing the opening as gently as she could,she poured out whateva he had placed inside it.A tape and a sets of key,she found.She peeped into the envelop,hoping to at least saw a letter or notes,but nothing...
A tape.Once again,she stood right in front of the hi-fi set,waiting to hear something he had prepared for her.Her pulse began to increased,just like the first time.Flashing a wide smile to encouraged,as well as calming down herself,her index finger reached upwards,pushing the ‘play’ button....
1sec Nothing,2 sec nothing…3sec...nothing as well.Mel glued her eye on speaker.Leaning nearer,she lay her ear closer to it,trying to catch something.The tape continued running,until ten minutes,half an hour passed and,there’s still no sound.Not even his "hi" could be heard.
Crossing her arms,she straightened up.Her eye shifted to the sets of key left untouched on the table,and back to the tape slot inside the hi-fi set.Trying to anger her by sending her this empty tape?...congratulation,he had successfully,done that...
