His head pounded like a drum,squinting at the clock which diaplayed 11.45 pm,his temper rised.Ready to scold whoeva was disturbing him,despite the sore throat he has.Coughing half way through,he turned the door knob. "Wha...!!!" he stopped instantly upon knowing who his visitor was...
"You..." Ye blinked his red watery eye.Combing his messy hair,he stepped aside,leaving a gap for her to pass.His face redden,partly because of the fever he running,and the awkward situation.His eye still glued to Mel,he paused for awhile before adding hoarsely "It’s late..."
"That’s why I’m here..." Mel explained.Lifting her arms up,her palm came into contact with his forehead.Ye jerked away,banging his head hardly against the wooden door behind,he groaned.Swearing to himself,he closed his eye,waiting for the pain to subsides.Opening one eye,he stared at Mel...
"You are running a fever,did you see a doctor?" Mel cast a worrying look.She glanced around his room and kitchen.searching for bag of tablets.Her eye fixed on the bag of pills being threw on the table,and the glass of plain water left untouched.Showing him a stern expression,she said "I guess ya haven taken your medicine..."
"Erm...I forgotten..." Ye muttered,blinking his blurred eye.Mel’s lips curved up,he looked like a small little boy now,without his usual cool face and hot temper.With his eye half closing,he coughed again.She could tell he was real sleepy,but he stood like a obedient kid,waiting for her next question...
"Swallow it..." Mel pushed him gently onto the bed,bringing his medicine for him.He taken it without any hesitation,his eye staring at her,even though it’s partly shutting.He’s much more easy to handle when sick,she thought.Tucking his blanket over him,she uttered gently "Take a rest,I’ll be going after you are asleep"
"No!It’s late,you stay here overnight...k?" Grabbing her arms immidatetly when hearing the word ‘going’,he murmured.Not letting her hand go,he wanted to hear a positive reply.Mel shaked her head "there isn’t another bed here..."
"You can have the bed,I’ll sleep on the sofa outside" he started to get up again.He still as stubborn,Mel stopped his move.Ye flashed a innocent look,his eye yearning for her to stay...
"Ok ok,I’ll stay,and I’ll sleep on the sofa instead..." Mel nodded,feeling guilty if she should leave him alone tonight.He didn’t lie back on the bed,something on his face showed he was not happy with her decision,not happy with her sleeping on the sofa. "What you want me to do then?"
Shifting himself backwards leaving a area big enough for her,he replied "I won’t do anything...Promise..." he crossed his finger.Mel almost laughed out,he looked cute somehow tonight.Sliding herself onto his bed,she closed her eye.A soft snoring could be heard when he fell alseep.His arms come cirling around her ,she smiled...
