Chapter 5

"Cheris,why did you choose Jing over Long?" Mel recalled how Cheris got togather with Jing and asked.She was not very supportive of Jing wooing Cheris at first but Jing's serious attitude surprised her.Maybe she's was wrong overall,Cheris looked much more happy now...

"I don't know.I just got a feeling he's the one i really loved when he came looking for me at the airport." Cheris smiled and said.Maybe his lame joke caught her attention or maybe his sunshine grin attract her.She's not too sure...

"Why do you ask?" Cheris looked up when there's no response from Mel.She reached over and patted her hand "Is there something wrong?"

"Nah,nothing's wrong.Just feel that sometimes there's seems to be a gap between Ah ye and me.I liked him and really enjoyed his accompany but,i'm still used to single life..." Mel continued stirring her coffee and said softly.He met with a car accident,she's the stranger who save him,he realised his feeling for her and she became his so-called gf.He didn't even asked.Everything seems too sudden...

"Mel,you are a very independent gal.Give yourself more time to adapt.I can tell Ah ye was crazy over you." Cheris patted her shoulder and gave Mel her support.

"Thanx.I will.Actually he can be quite sweet sometimes too..." Mel smiled...
