She took off her shoes and jumped into the pool.
"Are you swimming with your pajamas?" Changmin asked as he knelt by the pool.
"Yeah, why not? It's so much fun in the water,"she said and pulled Changmin by the hand into the pool.
"Whoooaa!!!" he exclaimed as he dropped into the pool.
Soo Kyung held onto him by the neck as Changmin stood. He hugged her and said, "I'll dip you in the water."
"Don't you dare, I'll be the first to drown you," she said teasingly.
Changmin grabbed Soo Kyung by the waist and started to push her down gently, afraid he would end up hurting her. Soo Kyung was strong and got up pushing Changmin down. They pushed each other up and down for a long time, having fun even though it was a simple game.
"Minnie, I don't want to play this anymore," she said when she got tired of pushing him into the water.
"Okay, then what do you want to play?"he asked.
"Nothing, let's just swim and relax around," she answered.
Changmin leaned his back against the pool. "Aren't you going to swim?" Soo Kyung asked him.
"Nope, I just want to relax. Here, come beside me," he said. Soo Kyung swam up to his side. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her in, resting his head onto hers. Soo Kyung slid her arm around his waist and sighed.
"I can't imagine my life without you," she said suddenly. Changmin kept quiet.
"I will never leave you," he said and kissed her wet hair. She leaned on his chest and listened to his heart beat. They stayed like that for quite a while.
"Let's get out. We might get sick if we stay in the water for too long," Changmin said. They heard footsteps and turned around to see who it was.
"I was dead worried, Soo Kyung!" Kibum said in a worried voice. "Why did you disappear so suddenly?" He then saw Changmin hugging her. He was so worried he didn't notice him at first.
"Hi Kibum,"Changmin greeted.
"What the HECK are you doing here?!" Kibum shouted with fiery eyes. He had thought that he would have Soo Kyung all to himself on this vacation.
"Do you need to know?" he asked, playing with Kibum's anger.
"What!?" Kibum said.
"Nothing," Changmin answered.
"Talk to me properly Changmin!"Kibum shouted. He went down by the pool and pulled Soo Kyung up. She refused to go with him.
"Come with me. You're not suppose to be with him," Kibum said.
"Let go of her," Changmin said pulling Soo Kyung back.
"I'm the one staying with her. I am responsible of her. She can't be out at this hour. Soo Kyung, get out of the pool now," he commanded.
"I'm not coming," she replied.
"Should I call you dad and tell him what you are doing?" he threatened.
"Don't be so mean Kibum," Changmin said.
"Who's doing something they're not suppose to do?"he shot back.
"If he says he'll call my dad, he will do it. He is very stubborn. And if he do call, I'll be dead. I am not to go out after 10, let alone 12. I better go now," Soo Kyung whispered into Changmin's ear.
"Are you choosing him over me again?" he whispered back, getting a bit angry.
"No, I'm just saying that I have to go back because I'll get into serious if my dad finds out," she said.
"So, are you coming or not?" Kibum asked with his hands on his hips.
"It's the same, you are going with him and not me," Changmin said.
"Don't be like this, Minnie. I'll be seeing you again tomorrow anyways," she said.
"Don't Minnie me. I'm serious. You are still sharing a room with him when you go," he said.
"It's not like we're sleeping in the same bed," she said.
"But still, I don't trust HIM," he said. They were getting loud now.
"I told you, it's okay. I can handle myself," she said.
"You're doing this to me again. First you left for Hawaii with him, leaving me behind and now, you're going to sleep with him in the same room, right when I'm here by your side,"he said, angry.
"Changmin....," she said but he pulled away.
"I don't know anymore Soo Kyung. Just do whatever..," he said quietly and slowly stepped out of the pool.
"Hey!!...." Soo Kyung shouted behind him. "Don't leave me. Why can't you understand this?"
"I'm sorry, I don't think we are meant to be together. There is always something that keeps us apart from each other," he said as he walked away.
"Are you breaking up with me, again?" she asked.
"I think we should stop seeing each other. I don't think it's working out. You always choose HIM over me and we always end up having a fight. I don't think we should continue this anymore. It's always both of us getting hurt in the end. This should come to an end. Sorry, and good bye," he said coldly.
"NO! Changmin, no!" Soo Kyung ran up to him from the pool and hugged by the waist.
He stopped and closed his eyes. "Sorry, I can't do this anymore."
"Why?! We can make this work. Don't do this to me again," she begged.
"Bye. I don't think I can handle this again," he said, pulling off her hands and walked away out of sight.
Soo Kyung slowly bent down beside the swimming pool, crying. "No, no!" she cried as she gasped for air, breathing hard. "Not again, why!?" She leaned back, lost her balance and fell into the pool. Since she was weeping, she lost her breath and sunk down into the pool.
"SOO KYUNG!" Kibum shouted as he dived in. He quickly grabbed her and swam back up to the surface. She had fainted and was not breathing properly.
"Oh shoot, what am I going to do??"Kibum wondered. When he was about to do mouth to mouth respiration, Soo Kyung coughed up and slowly opened her eyes.
"What happened?" she asked in a quiet voice.
"You fell," he was interrupted by her fainting. Her eyes slowly closed and her body wasn't moving anymore.
"Yah!! Wake up! You're scaring me," he shouted as he shook her. She didn't move.
Kibum picked her up in his arms and ran for the elevator as fast as he could. He then clicked the button where the clinic floor was. When he got there, there were a few nurses and a doctor half asleep on the chairs.
"Hey everyone! Wake up! My friend had fainted!!" he shouted again and again until their eyes were wide awake.
The doctor checked her pulse and started doing his routine on people who fainted. Kibum called her parents and soon they were there too.
"What happened, what happened?" Mrs. Kim asked.
Kibum explained to them starting from the point where he found Soo Kyung missing in the room and to where she fell into the pool. They listened intensively.
When he finished talking, Mr. Kim said, "SHIM CHANGMIN, YOU ARE SO DEAD!" He believed that Changmin was all of the reasons why his daughter is now in this state.
