"Yes, I'm sure. Why do you think I've mistaken him with someone else?" Soo Kyung asked.
"I don't know, you keep talking about him today so it could be that your eyes were imagining him," he said.
"Nope, I'm sure it's him. He saw me too. Didn't you see his face? It was wide shocked," she said making the face Changmin made when he saw her.
Yoochun laughed, "Okay, okay, I get it now," he said.
"Ah, I still can't believe it. I haven't seen him for years, and today, out of the blue, I met him," she said.
"Fate," Yoochun said and thought about his own fate. Maybe he and his girl would reunite too, one day.
"I guess. I don't know what to do now. Should I go meet him or should I just act like nothing happened?" Soo Kyung asked.
"I think you should go talk to him, ask him about his life, you know, the friendly talk," he said.
"Yea, I think so too, but," she said.
"But what?" he asked looking at her.
"I don't know if he has a lover or not,"she said.
"That doesn't matter! Well, it does if you still love him. Do you?" he asked as he laughed. Soo Kyung hesitated to answer this question.
"He looked good,"she said. The image of Changmin went back into her mind. His shortly cut hair, the angular jaw line, his manly but cute face and his tallness all made her fall in love with him again. There was a great silence and finally Yoochun broke the awkwardness.
"You still love him, don't you?" he asked, smiling to himself. He knew that feeling since it was the same feeling he had when he longed for his girlfriend.
"Yes, I still do. I can't get him off my mind now," she said, shaking her head.
"Don't be sad, I know how you feel right now. It helps to go and talk to him. But for me, since she's not here, I have no choice but to just wait. Sometimes I get sick of waiting. It's just too long and I don't even remember her anymore. But there's something that tells me that I should wait for her no matter what," he said.
"Aww, Yoochun, I feel so bad for you. There must a logical reason why she's not contacting you," she said as she friendly put her left arm around his waist.
"I don't know anymore. But one thing I know is that, I will wait for her until, until," he was lost in words.
"Until who knows when?" she said. Yoochun laughed.
"Haha, yea, until then," he said and put his arms around her shoulders. "It's nice to have a friend like you that could understand what I'm going through."
"I know, I'm very good to talk to, haha , just kidding," she said, teasingly.
"No, seriously, you're a good listener," he said.
"You're a good listener too," she said. "You listened when I was fussing about Changmin."
"Okay okay, we're both good listeners okay?" he said and smiled."I don't want to fight about something childish."
While they were walking, hugging each other, Changmin was walking to a nearby supermarket. He saw a couple walking and wished he could do that again with Soo Kyung. When he got closer, the girl's backside looked awfully similar to someone he knew. His curiosity overtook him and he wanted to know who that girl was. He remembered that he just saw Soo Kyung at the aquarium so he thought that it was her. He stood there on the street, looking at the girl for a long time. When the two turned at a curb, he saw the profile of the girl.
"Soo Kyung! What is she doing with that guy?" he thought. They were hugging each other and looked happy so he thought, "I guess she had found a better man than me." He then walked away to where he was going, sad and tired after his day of work.
When Yoochun and Soo Kyung got to her house, Soo Kyung said, "Thank you Yoochun, I really had fun today, well, maybe except for the part where I saw Changmin. But all together, it was a great day. And thank you again for understanding me and making me feel better," she kindly said.
"Ahh, that's nothing," Yoochun said waving his hands, motioning 'no'. "I wouldn't have fun today too if it weren't for you. I wouldn't call it a date but it was all worth it."
"Yea, we'll make great friends, haha. Anyways, I gotta go inside now, good night," she said and teasingly blew a kiss.
Yoochun laughed and did a funny goodbye. He walked home smiling to himself thinking about what they had done that day. Soo Kyung had brought him happiness again.
Back at the aquarium, Changmin sunk down on the sofa in his suite. He was really depressed seeing Soo Kyung with another man apart from him.
'Gosh, this is driving me crazy, seeing her being happy with another person. Being happy is good but, it's not because of me she's happy. What should I do?' he thought. He still loved her and now that he saw her again, his heart longed for her even more. But the problem was that she has a boyfriend of her own now and he could do nothing about it.
He thought and thought about what he should do with his heart. Should he go see her or should he just forget about it? He later decided to look for her again and talk to her. 'This time if I end up with her, I promise to myself, I will never let go of her AGAIN,' he said to himself.
Soo Kyung laid on her bed, thinking about both Yoochun and Changmin. Even though she knew that she and Yoochun were obviously friends, she thought that he would make a great boyfriend. And with Changmin, she said to herself that she will go to the aquarium one day and talk to him or something. The only thing that got stuck in her mind was, 'What if he has a girlfriend and thinks I'm stupid going after him?'.
She sighed and got frustrated about what she should do. 'Sleep would work. I should sleep over everything that's happening now,'she thought. As she slowly dozed off to sleep, her heart kept telling her, 'You still have feelings for Changmin.' 'You still love him.' 'Don't misunderstand him and think that he has a girlfriend. You didn't even see a girl with him. You saw KIDS, so why don't you just go over and talk to him?' 'Tell him that you love him' 'love him, love him, love him'.
