The next day, they spent half the morning shopping for Changmin's ring. Store after store they went in and out, searching for the perfect one.
Changmin grabbed Soo Kyung's hand and walked down the platform. "Kyunggie, do you know what is engraved on your ring?" he asked.
"What is?" she asked as she looked up to him while walking. He stopped their tracks and reached for her hands. He took the ring off and turned to the side where words were engraved. He showed it to her smiling.
"Shim Changmin *heart* Shim Soo Kyung," she read and pouted. "When did I become a 'Shim'? Were you that positive that I would accept your proposal?"
He smiled, "Sooner or later, I just know that you will be mine, FOREVER!" He teased her, making her cross her arms over her chest.
"Yours forever? Hmph!" she said. "I'd be so glad." She then laughed. She was teasing him back. Changmin pulled her up and whirled her around.
"Gosh I love you so much, I can't wait to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you," he said. He leaned in and their foreheads touched.
"Me too," she said and their lips met for a short peck. Then they leaned in again to have a real kiss, one that lasted forever. "Minnie, we have to go look for a ring now, it's getting close to lunch time. We planned to get our blessings from my parents after lunch, right?" she said, concerned.
"Sure, let's get going now," he said and pulled her to him as they walked. After an hour of search, they finally got a ring. The sales manager thought they were so cute and being the first couple to buy a ring today, she gave them a free set of rings.

They walked out of the store with the rings, happy that their task is finally done. Soo Kyung stopped walking and sat on a nearby bench, pulling her husband-to-be with her. She took out the ring from the box.
"Here, let me help you put it on," she said as she gently grabbed his ring finger and slowly put it on. "There you go, now we are officially a couple!"
Changmin smiled at his girlfriend's cuteness. Soo Kyung put her left hand out in front of her and told Changmin to do the same. "Wahh..don't our hands look good together? I really like our rings," she said excitedly.
"Yes yes, Kyunggie, now let's go eat, I'm very hungry," he said as he rubbed his stomach. Soo Kyung tried to pinch his stomach but couldn't since there was no fat for her to pinch. She sighed, her husband-to-be has a great body, and she's glad.
After Changmin had a big lunch and Soo Kyung a little one, they went to her house to find her parents. Before going inside, she turned to Changmin and straightened his shirt and tidied his hair. She then planted a kiss on his cheek, tiptoeing. Changmin couldn't stop there, he leaned in for another kiss but she stopped him.
"We have to go in now, save it for later, okay?" she said. Changmin pouted and she tried hard to resist him. They finally got into the house. Changmin held onto her hand as they walked into the living room.
"Dad? Mom?" Soo Kyung called. They were in the kitchen, almost done with their lunch. They came into the living room when they heard their daughter's call.
"What is it, Soo Kyung?" Mr. Kim asked as he and Mrs. Kim sat down on the sofa opposite of them .
Changmin cleared his throat and kneeled in front of them. "Mr. and Mrs. Kim, I would like to inform you that your daughter, Soo Kyung and I want to get married. And we are here to get your blessings."
Mr. Kim raised his eyebrows and turned to Mrs. Kim who was having the same thought as him, 'Is this boy suitable for our daughter? Will he make her happy and not suffer?'
Changmin seemed to be reading their minds since he said, "Don't worry Mr. and Mrs. Kim, I will make your daughter the happiest person on Earth. I will treat and care for her with all my love. She is the only person I had ever loved and I believe I will still love her until the end of time. Please accept me to your family and I will try my best to be a good, trustful husband."
Mrs. Kim smiled at how honest and thoughtful he was. By his words, she was sure that he would be a great husband for her only daughter. Mr. Kim seemed to having the same thoughts since he was smiling too. Changmin wasn't done yet. He took another breath and started.
"I love your daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kim-" he said and Soo Kyung joined in. "And I love Changmin too, dad, mom."
"We love each other a lot and we want to get married," they both said in unison. Both kneeling on the carpet, they waited for the parents' reply.
After a moment, which seemed like hours for them, Mr. Kim got up, smiled and said, "When will the wedding be?"

Three months later.... in Seoul.

Bells rang as friends and family gathered at the Church, ready to witness a happy couple getting married. Pink and gold drapes were hang from the walls and ceilings. Flowers were everywhere and soothing music played in the background. People were dressed neatly and waited impatiently for the beautiful bride to walk down the aisle.
As everyone was gathered, the wedding started. The wedding song played and Changmin waited at the altar with the Father behind him. Being nervous, he was looking down for a while until he heard gasps. He looked up and saw an angel.
Walking down the aisle in a gold and white dress, he saw the most beautiful person in the world. Holding onto her father's arm, she gracefully walked towards him. Smiling lightly, it captured his heart. He smiled and eased himself.
As she got closer, the music slowly paced away and there was silence. The audience were still standing up as they watched the couple get wedded. Mr. Kim handed his daughter to Changmin.
He held her hand and lead her in front of him. He leaned in and whispered, "You look very beautiful today, just like an angel." She blushed a little but kept her posture.
The father spoke his usual blessings and finally, the moment came. He turned to Changmin and smiled.
"Do you, Shim Changmin, take Kim Soo Kyung as your lawfully wedded wife and love her and cherish her forever? Will you stand by her side all through the bad and the good times, the rich and the poor, through sadness and happiness, and keep her happy by your presence?"
"I do."
"And do you, Kim Soo Kyung, take Shim Changmin as your lawfully wedded husband and love him and cherish him forever? Will you take care of him and support him by his side no matter what comes between the two of you? Will you stay with him all through the good and bad times without leaving for another man?"
"I do."
The father smiled, looking at them. "I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Shim Changmin, you may kiss the bride."
This was what Changmin had been waiting for. He leaned in, holding onto her hands gently and kissed her on the lips. Soo Kyung returned the kiss and it grew passionate. After a few seconds, they parted and everyone clapped. "I love you," he whispered into her ears and kissed her cheek.
Soo Kyung just smiled and mouthed, "I love you too." They held each others' hands and turned to the audience and bowed several times. Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Shim cried for their son and daughter. Mr. Kim and Mr. Shim looked at each other and nodded.
The newly wedded couple clinged their arms together and happily walked down the aisle with smiles as bright as the stars in the night sky. Everyone clapped again as they envied the young couple.
The wedding was successful and everybody was happy.

After the wedding dinner at night, Changmin and Soo Kyung went to his house for the night, all tired. They will be leaving for their honeymoon to Bora Bora two days later. Hand in hand, they walked into his room. As soon as he closed and locked the door, he grabbed Soo Kyung by the waist and pulled her into him.
"I didn't get a kiss from you during the dinner. Everyone was hogging around you and I didn't even get to get close," he said as he leaned his forehead down to hers'.
Soo Kyung smiled and kissed him on the lips, a soft quick kiss. He smiled at her and kissed her more. She opened her mouth for his tongue to slip in and they kissed passionately, hands wrapped around each other. Later, Changmin couldn't hold it any longer and carried her to bed while still kissing her. Her arms were wrapped around his neck and legs were clinged onto his waist. He slowly put her on the bed and laid on top of her. He kissed her neck softly.
"I love you, Soo Kyung, very much," he said with all his heart. "I don't know what I will do without you in my life."
Soo Kyung cried because of happiness. Even though it was a bit dim in the room, Changmin saw the tears that flowed down her flawless cheeks. He bent down to wipe the tears away. "Shh..don't cry."
"I love you too," she replied and pulled his neck down towards her for another kiss. This went on for a few minutes until Changmin snaked his hands around her waist under the shirt.
"Are you ready?" he asked. "It's okay if you don't want to do this."
Soo Kyung shook her head. "It's okay, all I want now is you, Changmin." He smiled and kissed her more.
Minutes later.....into the night.....
Changmin hugged Soo Kyung with his left arm around her shoulder as she cuddled up to his warm body, hugging his waist. He tilted his head down onto hers and smiled. She turned and pecked his lips. "Saranghae," she whispered as she hugged him tighter.
He kept silent for a while without returning an answer. Soo Kyung thought he was asleep from the tiredness, but he wasn't. He pulled her closer and kissed her head.
"What's wrong, Minnie?" she asked softly.
"Do you know that we are fated to be together? Ever since the day we met in high school, we were meant to be together? Our love was unconditional and we managed to keep it through all these years. I never thought that I would be with you again after that day in Hawaii but fate had brought us together again. And I'm glad it did or I wouldn't be the happiest or luckiest man on Earth right now, married to the person who is beautiful inside and out. I'm so happy Soo Kyung, so happy. Having you in my arms right now, safe and sound, I would like to stop time forever. I'm so lucky, saranghae for making me into what I have become," he said, pouring out all his thoughts to her.
Soo Kyung slowly got on top of him and rested her chin on her chest."I guess we ARE meant to be together." She emphasized on the words 'are' since it was such an important word in such sentence. She moved forward to kiss him again. He brushed off her hair from her face to kiss her properly.
"Hmmm...I guess...," he said between the kisses and hugged her waist as she cupped his face.
They stared into each other's eyes and fell in love all over again. And at once, they said...
"We ARE meant to be together!"
