one-sided love...?
Xiao Jie: So...Gui Gui...What’s the latest update?
Me: ....Oh. Huh...?
Xiao Jie: About your true love thing.
Da Ya: Yea.
Apple: Found out who it is yet?
Xiao Xun: Is it Wang Zi?
Me: Mei you, I wish I was...
Mei Mei: Then...who is it...?
Me: Aaron.
Tong Tong: The new kid!?
Apple: No way!
Ya Tou: How can it be him!?
Me: Wo bu zhi dao, I don’t want it to be him! Why can't it be Wang Zi!? (My hands turned hot)
Me: Aiyo! He’s coming! I'm going to run for it!
Xiao Xun: Gui Gui! I don’t think you should-
She said it too late. I turned around, and *WHAM!* I turned around too fast, I pushed Aaron on accident, and he fell. I stood there laughing. “Dui-dui bu qi!” I choked out in-between laughs. “Ow,” Aaron said. I still laughed, so Da Ya apologized again for me, “Dui bu qi.” “Oh,” Aaron said as he got up, “Its okay. This is the second time she pushed me. except this time, I didn’t hit a wall.” I suddenly stopped laughing, and my attitude changed completely. “...Look, if you want me to push you into another wall...you could just tell me. I’d gladly arrange that for you,” I remarked as I took a step towards him. Xiao Xun grabbed onto my elbow, “Gui Gui, I don’t think you should do that.” I stopped, and stood still. Aaron laughed and said, “Aiyo. I’ll be going now. See you, whenever.” He waved and walked off. When he was out of sight, Ya Tou said, “Gui! I think he likes you!” I showed a mocking smile, “Well, I DON’T like him.” “One-sided love,” Xiao Jie mumbled under her breath. “One-sided love,” I repeated. We stood quiet for a while, then Da Ya said, “Well, time to go our own ways! Til’ tomorrow!” She waved and walked off. I nodded and walked home.
I was halfway home...then I realized...i forgot my books in the classroom! I turned around, and ran all the way back to school. When I got there I saw a limo (limousine). I ignored it, and ran inside the school. “Oh! Thank...god....there’s...no one here,” I said in-between gasps for air. I ran to my class, and opened the door slowly. I walked in, and someone grabbed my wrist. I shrieked at the top of my lungs as I closed my eyes tightly. I felt a hand go over my mouth, and my back hit the wall. “SHH!” I looked and saw that it was Wang Zi. He pulled his hand away from my mouth. “What are you doing here?” he asked me. “Don’t ask me!” I whispered, “the question is...why are YOU here?” Wang Zi held up his book. “I was here for my book,” he remarked. I smiled a mocking smile, “So was-“ Wang Zi shoved my book at me, before I could finish my sentence. “You write in your book when you’re not suppose to,” he said. “YOU'RE here, after school,” I began, “when you’re not suppose to be.” He grabbed my wrist, and raised it to my face. Then he dropped it, leaned towards my face, and whispered, “YOU'RE here too.” I couldn’t think of anything to say back to him, so I kicked him in the shins instead. He yelled in pain, but I just ran off. “Wei!” he yelled after me, “You don’t know who you’re messing with!” I laughed, “Hah, Yea right!”
That night Da Ya them called; they were over at Ya Tou’s house.
Da Ya: Hey, Gui!
Ya Tou: What’s happened?
Me: Aiyo, its only been a couple of hours!
Xiao Xun: How’s that true love thing?
Me: Aiyah, you guys ALREADY asked me that!
Apple: Well, we’re asking again!
Me: Nothing happened!
Mei Mei: Ni! Gui Gui!
Tong Tong: You liar!
Me: I'm not lying!
Xiao Man: Well...what about Wang Zi?
Da Ya: Yea, anything happen with Wang Zi?
Xiao Xun: Yea...he DID come get you today.
Ya Tou: Because you took so long in the washroom.
Me: Its...nothing.
Mei Mei: Liar, we’re coming over.
Me: Wei! No! you can't- (*Beep...*) Aiyo...
* * *
Tong Tong: You KICKED him!?
Ya Tou: In the shins?!
Me: Aiyo...why do you guys make it sound so bad...? It could've been worse...
Da Ya cracked up, then the rest of us began to laugh with her. “I think that’s what he deserved,” Xiao Xun remarked. That night, we stayed up til three. We talked on and on, so Da Ya them ended up sleeping over.
“Gui!” a voice yelled, “Gui!” I opened my eyes and saw Ma. “Gui!” she went on, “wake up! you’re late! You overslept!” “Huh?” I asked sleepily. I sat up and looked around...the sunlight sinked in from the windows, and spreaded across the room. “Aiyo,” I exclaimed, “Tong Tong! Mei Mei! Xiao Man, Xiao Jie, Xiao Xun, Apple, Ya Tou, Da Ya! WAKE UP! WE’RE LATE!” They woke up immediately. “We’re going to be late!” I went on. “Aiyo,” Da Ya said sleepily, “Gui Gui...why didn’t you wake us up earlier?” “I was still asleep!” I answered. “And your ALARM?!” Xiao Xun asked, “what happened to THAT!?” “Oh...” I began, “I cracked that...a couple of days ago...” “Aiyo,” Xiao Man remarked, “now’s not the time to be asking questions!” “Yea!” Ya Tou added, “let’s get ready before we’re late to school.” We all got up and rushed into the bathroom to get ready. About five or six minutes later, we got out of the house, and walked to school. Apple suggested that we split up, as a game, and see who gets to school first. “Yea, and the last one to get to school will have to jump into the water fountain,” Tong Tong added. I laughed, “You’re on.” Then we split up and ran in our own directions. Just as I was crossing the street to get to the other side... a car came right at me. I shrieked at the top of my lungs, and the car came to a halt, only two inches away from my leg. I swore under my breath as I continued walking, but someone grabbed onto my arm.______________
Kat: Man...its so hard writing another story...after you've put all your thoughts and imaginations into your first story. hehehe. but im thinking...thinking HARD! ...lol.
