Shopping
“You’re not mad…?” hebe asked. I laughed, “No, why? I have no reason to be mad.” “You had that picture in the newspaper with him…” hebe replied. “Ah…” I laughed, “that was nothing. Nothing happened, really, believe me. he’s only a friend to me…more like an older brother…” “REALLY!?” hebe asked, “so…who DO you like???” Da Ya and the rest of them stared at me, also waiting for an answer. “Wo…” I began, but I realized…I don’t know who I like… “wo bu zhi dao…” hebe laughed, “Gui Gui, I know I only met you today…but…I can tell you like Wang Zi.” “Wow,” Da Ya and xiao xun them cracked up, “hebe, you genius!!!” “WEI!” I exclaimed, “I don’t know yet…” “Why NOT!?” hebe asked as she stopped walking. “i…” I began, “I don’t know if he likes me or not…what if he likes someone else…?” “Wei!” hebe exclaimed. I laughed, “Yah, lets just get going.” We continued to walk, and Da Ya exclaimed, “HEBE! Do you want to go shopping with us tomorrow!?” “Yea!” xiao jie exclaimed, “we’re going shopping for our dresses!!!” “When’s the dance?” Hebe asked. “Tomorrow!” apple answered excitedly, “come one! Lets go shopping!!!”

“Let’s split up!” tong tong suggested. “Yea!” Hebe agreed, “and when we find our dress, we’ll meet up back here!” “Ah…” I began. “ok, sure.” “We get to dare the last one here!” mei mei laughed as she ran off.
I headed for the second floor, so I took the elevator. I got to the second floor, and I was running, when I saw it. A glance at first…but then something so gorgeous and lovely about it, caught my attention. It might’ve been the fact that all the colors on it mixed and matched so well together…all three layers.
After I purchased the dress, I went back to the elevator to take me back down to the first floor. When the elevator doors slid open, I saw someone…someone I REALLY didn’t want to see…someone I was confused about…that ‘SOMEONE’ was Wang Zi. I turned around to leave, but I realized…I couldn’t show fear in front of him. I have to show him, that nothing about me has changed without him. I don’t need him. I got back into the elevator, with him. just us two. I looked away from him, ignoring him, as he leaned against the wall. The elevator door closed, and began to move.
It seemed to take FOREVER, for the elevator to stop…and when it finally did stop, the door didn’t open. I tightened my grip on my bag, afraid of the next thing that would happen. then the elevator dropped about six feet, throwing me forward, at Wang Zi. He lurched forward, and caught me, right before I hit the ground. I closed my eyes, refusing to open them, afraid of seeing his reaction, afraid of seeing him, afraid of facing him all of a sudden. My heart began to pound, my face felt hot,…feeling him so close to me, made me miss him a little… Then I remembered…him and rong jia…the word ‘engage’…I pushed hi maway, I pushed him HARD. His back slammed against the wall of the elevator, just as the elevator door opened, and I ran out of the elevator…tears streamed down my face. I felt bad, I feel like I shouldn’t have pushed him…but I kept telling myself, “He deserved it…he hurt me first…he showed me happiness, then he made all my happiness crash down on me. “ I wiped my tears away, and ran to the food court, where we agreed to meet back at.
Hebe, tong tong, apple, xiao man, and mei mei were already there. I was the sixth person there, Da Ya got there after me. ya tou was right behind Da Ya. We waited for the last two…xiao xun and xiao jie tied, so we dared both.

xiao xun/xiao jie: WHAT!?
Xiao xun: I’m suppose to ask xiao yu to the dance?!?
Xiao jie: How am I suppose to ask xiao jie to the dance??
Ya tou: Just ask! Ah wei asked me, and I said yes…
Me: WHAT!?
Da Ya: I know! Ao Quan asked me, too.
Me: WHAT!?
Tong tong: No fair, I have no one…
Xiao man: I know…
Apple: Me too…
Me: Yep, same here.
Hebe: Please! Xiao xun, xiao jie, you two HAVE to ask!
Xiao xun: …alright…sure.
Xiao jie: ok, but it better work out.
Xiao man: Yeam and if you fail, you can hang out with me, apple, tong tong, and gui!
Xiao xun/xiao jie: Ok! Deal!
