the door. It was so huge inside I didn’t know what to do and where to go. The floors were
small square tiles on the floor of the living room. Two big leather couches were facing a
huge big screen T.V. There was a showcase of some family photos. There seems to be a
big gap in the middle of the living room. Must be for parties, I guessed and explored the
rest of the house. It’s amazing. It’s so big that I almost got lost. As I was daydreaming
when I bumped into something. Or someone but I wasn’t sure. I took a step back and
looked. It must be Aaron. “Hello! My name is Hebe and I will be your maid starting
today.” “Oh. Hello. My name is Aaron.” He said and grinned at me. My heart skipped a
beat. His smile. It made me want to smile. So I did. It must have been very big because
he gave me a strange face and walked away. What a nice first impression I must have
looked like an idiot. That was just what I needed, great.
I walked around the house a bit more and finally found my room. At least I think its
mine. I’m sure it is. I opened the door and there were 2 beds, very big. There
wasn’t any wallpaper on. Just white paint. That’s the way I like it. The carpet was very
soft. There was a window and a balcony. I looked out the window. You could see
stars all over the sky. They were so pretty I just spaced out staring at them. “Hey you
must be the other maid! My name is Selina, nice to meet you.” She held out a hand for
a shake. “Hi my name is Hebe! Nice to meet you too!” and I shook her hand. We started
talking. About why we need the job and other stuff about our lives. Before you knew it
we became best friends. It got late so we put our stuff away and got ready for bed.
Tomorrow will be a new day, I hope it turns out well.
The next day made it exactly a week before school started. I have already signed up for
the high school Aaron is going to. I think I’m falling for him already. Anyways I got up
early in the morning and got ready. I still wore my P.J’s. I hope they don’t mind but its
not like I’m going out today. I made breakfast. Selina was still fast asleep. I’ll let her
sleep. I thought as I finish breakfast. I waited. No one came downstairs. That’s weird. I
left the food on the table and went around cleaning the house. It was so big. Good thing
its pretty clean already or it would take a week! Around twelve Aaron and Jiro came
down stairs. “Good morning” I said and smiled. “Morning” they said at the same time.
No smile. They seemed sleepy. I wonder how late they were up yesterday. It’s non of my
business so I didn’t ask. “I’ve made breakfast. Its on the table.” I said. They sat down
and ate. “My room is a bit messy, please clean it up before I get home today.” Aaron said.
“ Sure.” I replied. Just then sleepy head Selina came. “Morning!” she loudly
said. “Morning.” We all replied but I seemed to be the loudest. “Please clean up my room
as well Selina.” Jiro said. “Okay.” She replied as she sat down to eat. Aaron and Jiro left
when they finished eating. Selina and I went to clean the rooms.
Aaron’s room wasn’t very messy but Jiro’s was very messy. When I finished cleaning
up Aaron’s room I went to help Selina. “Thanks.” She said as we cleaned up. It was so
messy it took an hour for both of us to finish. We took a glance at the room. “Wow it
looks so clean now! We did it.” Selina said as I gave her a high five. After 3 hours or so
we finished cleaning the rest of the house. It wasn’t hard. It would have taken less time if
the house wasn’t so big.
“Hebe! Lets go to the mall!” Selina yelled. Before I could reply she was already out of
the door. I ran to get my wallet and followed her out. At the mall we went to a few
clothing stores. We didn’t have much money so we only got one thing each. She bought a
new skirt. It was pink with a ribbon around the top. Simple yet cute. I bought a white
shirt. It was tight but it stretched and fit me perfectly. It was on sale and it was my style. I
liked this plain and simple. It matched nicely with a belt I had I home. Well not home but
you know what I mean! After walking around for an hour we decided to get something to
eat.
At the food court there was a huge crowd around this table. I was curious to I went to
take a peek and see who it ways. Well what a surprise its Aaron, Jiro and two other guys.
A girl pushed me out. “Stop staring at them.” She said and turned around and started to
talk. I didn’t hear what she said. “Need help getting up?” A girl with short hair asked.
“Sure.” I said and she pulled me up. “My name is Ella nice to meet you.” She said as she
shook Selina’s hand, then mine. We all introduced ourselves and started to talk. Before
you knew it we became great friends. She told us about the school. Aaron and Jiro were
most popular along with there other friends Calvin and Chun.
