I was about to say it but my lips wouldn't move. I took a deep breath and slowly shut my eyes.
"Your-" was all I could manage to say. I took another deep breath and quickly said, "FIRED."
I ran after that. Scared to see her reaction. I ran into my room, as fast as I could.
I slowly closed the door and locked it. That way I was alone. I looked around the room. It was so neat.
Thanks to her.. To tell you the truth, I didn’t know what to do next. What was I suppose to do?
It didn't feel right. Like I just made a huge mistake. Maybe I did, but it was to late to turn back now.
If I could turn back time I might have changed what I said. Guilt, the one thing I didn't want to feel at a time like this, though I do.
She has no parents. No family. Thanks to me, she no longer has a job or a home to live in.
I don't know what to do. I'm so confused. Not sure of what’s going to happen next.
After a few minutes I stood up. To my surprise, my face was wet. Tears. Why am I crying? When did I start crying?
What is wrong with me? I hardly ever cried. Not much tears came from me. Until now, I forgot what it's like to feel sad.
To me, I had everything I could ever dream of. All the girls I ever wanted, money, good friends, and a good brother.
So why does it seem like there’s something missing? Okay, I admit. I don't truly know what love is.
To me it's just a simple game. You don't believe in something until you see or experience it yourself right?
The answer, yes. So I guess you could say I don’t believe in "love." I got ready for bed. Not thinking of what I was doing.
Everything happened so fast. The last thing I remembered was slowly laying down on my bed. Before I knew it, morning had arrived.
I got up early for once. Got ready for school and walked into the kitchen.
Hebe's POV
"FIRED." He yelled and quickly ran away. I stood there. Shocked. I started straight at whatever was there to stare at.
My vision got blurry. I was crying. Tears slowly ran down my cheeks. I couldn't stop them. I tried to hold it in, but they just kept coming down.
I don't have a home or a job. All I have are my friends. Hopefully, that’s all I'll need. The washroom door slowly opened and Selina stepped out.
She had the same expression I had. Shocked. She must have heard everything. Slowly, tears started running down her cheeks aswell.
The two of us just stood there in silence. Not one of us knew what to say. After what felt like hours she finally started to talk.
"You can use the washroom now." She replied. Her voice, cancky. I slowly nodded and walked into the bathroom.
When I finished getting ready for bed I walked out to find Selina sitting on my bed. "Stay for the night?" She asked. My voice didn't return.
So I gave a quick nod and got into bed. "Listen, don't worry about anything. Ella and I are here for you. We'll help you get through this." She said.
Just when I though there were no more tears left they started to come down. We gave each other a hug and she went to get ready for bed.
I laid there all night thinking. About what was going to happen next and what I should do. I was sad. At the same time there were a small joy inside of me.
I have the best friends a girl like me could want. Still, the tears wouldn't stop coming down. I tried to stop it but nothing worked. I just laid there.
Soon morning came and I got up. So did Selina. We stared at each other look and I grabbed my board and wrote down.
"I'll use the washroom first and make breakfast one last time before I go." She read it and gave me nod.
I took a look in the mirror and didn't like what I saw. My eyes, big and puffy with big bags hanging under them.
I took out some make up and covered some of the bags so I wouldn't look scary. I got ready for school and walked out of the washroom
Selina went in and I walked to the kitchen to make breakfast. By the time I finished Selina, Jiro and Aaron came in. He woke up himself, impressive.
"Morning." Jiro, Selina and Aaron greeted. I gave a small smile. It was a fake smile, but still a smile.
Jiro didn't seem to noticed and continued eating and talking like normal. Aaron, Selina and I sat there pretending to be listening.
"I'll help you find a job and home today after school?" Selina asked. Jiro and Aaron looked up. I gave quick nod and ate quietly.
"What happened?" Jiro asked. No one answer. We all ate silently and left for school. At school Selina told Ella everything.
I sat there and nodded. "My mom is putting our basement up for rent, you could live there Hebe." She said.
My lips slowly curved into a smile as I wrote down "Thanks!" They continued to talk into the teacher came in.
To me it was like a normal day at school. I tried hard not to think about last night. Aaron and I met a couple times while we were at our lockers.
Both of us pretended like the other wasn't there. To me that was the best way to handle things.
At lunch a few guys asked if they could have lunch with us. I gave a small nod and they sat down. Soon they started talking.
I'm not sure what they were talking about, I was to busy in my own little world. School ended quickly. I guess you can say.
It's the start of the end.. Again.
