Gillian hurriedly covered her mouth with both of her hands. A soft, hushed sob slipped through the cracks between the fingers and spread through the room.
Michelle pated Gillian on the back and said, "Let it go, Gill. Just let it go. It'll be the best for everyone. It'll do you good. Trust me."
"I tried, Mich, but I just can't do it, Mich," Gillian sobbed harder, her breathing got faster. "Time is all you need."

"Take care," Daniel said as he hugged Gill in the airport. "I will be back very soon. I hope you will have an answer for me." He kissed her reddish-brown hair. "Whether I like it or not, I will take it."
Daniel pulled himself from Gillian and he could see tears glittering in her eyes. He gently pushed a strain of hair away from her face so he could take one last look at his love.
"Gill," he said. "Can you promise me something?" Gill nodded, looking at him. "Be happy."
He stepped back from her. With one last good-bye wave, he turned and left.

"I saw her, but she didn't see me." Some on the other end of the phone said something. "I don't know. She seems happy now." A tint of sadness slowly spread throughout the tiny hotel room. "All I want is to have her to be happy." The speaker signed. "I will do anything just to see her being happy...even if it means I'll never see her again." Silence fell across the room as he listened to his speaker on the other end of the phone line. "Ok. Well, I need some sleep right now. I'll talk with you in 3 days." Pause. "Yes, I'm coming back on Monday. Bye."
He hang up before the other speaker could say anything. He signed and looked out at the night view of Tokyo Tower.

"What do you mean he's not here?!" Daniel yelled furiously into the phone.
"He's out of town for the moment," the manager replied, angry that he was being yelled at for no reason.
"Well, where is he?"
"Japan!"
"When is he coming back?"
"How the hell am I suppose to know?!"
"Well, how can I contact him?"
"I said I DON'T KNOW!" With that the manager hung up on him.
Daniel cussed at the rude manager and a white evelope that he didn't notice before slipped out of his luggage bag and read it.
He flinged the glass cup in his hand to the gound and it shattered into a million sparkling pieces.

All of a sudden, all the beautiful bright lights that Gillian was admiring in the Main Street dissapeared and darkness took over the place where happiness existed. Almost instantly, fear and panic dominated the happiness that was floating around in air 30 seconds ago.
As if someone had just poured a bucket of icy cold water mixed with panic over her head, a chill went down Gillian's spine and she turned around and around and around in the dark while people around her began to look for help.
"Michelle? Where's Michelle?" Gillian asked herself. "Where's everybody when I need them the most?" Slowly, Gillian croushed down and buried her her head in her arms as tears strolled down once again.
"A blackout in the happinest place one earth?" A man in the dark commented sarcastically. He didn't notice Gillian and tripped over her. "I'm sorry. I didn't ..."
Gillian wiped away her tears quickly and looked up at the man. Her eyes widened and lunged at him and wrapped her arms around the man's waist. "Ed," she sobbed.
Ed hugged her tightly and gently patted her and tried to sooth her. No words were needed now.
