Kim hugged her bestfriend tightly..
"ge.. how will i move on.. how will i live without.. without.. Enchong.."
Gerald.. yes.. he. He was her bestfriend.. he was the third wheel of Kim and Enchong..
Despite his amboy looks, and his charming smile, ladies rarely came running his way.. and despite being described a "ladies man" by Kim.. he didn't know exactly why girls hardly came after him..
Gerald hugged Kim back tightly and whispered..
"kimmy..its okay.. tahan na.. nandito naman ako para sa iyo.. at hindi kita iiwan.. ha? tandaan mo yan.."
Kim nodded as her stinging tears rolled down her cheeks..
She needed someone to hug her and comfort her.. she was happy that Gerald, her bestfriend was there.
The REAL story behind them both was that they were more than friends.. and indeed LOVERS..
Once they declared their relationship over.. none of them DARED to bring it up..
Kim and Gerald fell in love in the summer of 04.. their love stronger than ever.. They were crazy in love.. he had courted her for 3 years.. since 2001..he had courted her since she was 18 and since he was 19.. now, they were at the agee of 26 and 27.. and he finally captured her heart 3 years later in 04.. their relationship lasted for 3 long years.. and then ended when Gerald introduced Enchong to Kim..
Enchong instantly felt a connection with her when kim and him shook hands as they were introduced..
Kim's eyes had an unsual glint as she shook hands with Enchong and Gerald THEN realised he had some competition.

"Kim, meet Enchong.. Enchong.. meet Kim.. my--"
Gerald was cut off by Kim..
"..his bestfriend!.."
she quickly cut in..
Gerald looked at her weirdly and was really hurt inside..
They were still together.. yet Kim announced she was single to Enchong..
Gerald gulped.. and his eyes soon turned a little misty..
"uh-- yeah.. her bestfriend..."
Gerald mumbled the word bestfriend yet Kim and Enchong didnt notice as they were busy looking into eachothers eyes..
Gerald ahemmed.. more than 3 times.. yet their eyes didnt leave eachothers face or body..
Kim finally took her eyes off Enchong and glanced at Gerald who was looking at his feet.. his hair was in his face..
Kim observed his body language.. she knew when he was sad or happy.. he was sad.. and she could tell..
Kim could see Gerald getting hurt.. she could see his eyes tearing.. even when he was looking down
Kim felt bad.. she soon remembered what she said before.. that Gerald was only her bestfriend.. god.. he looked so adorable when he was sad..
"uh.. actually enchong.. Gerald is my boyfriend."
Kim smiled proudly at Gerald and held his hand..
Gerald looked away.. he knew Kim was just trying to make him feel better..
Kim grasped his arm tighter..
and then turned his head to face her..
She kissed his lips and pursed his lips open..
If there was one way to cheer Gerald Anderson up it was with a make out session.
Gerald's eyes widened but soon closed.. feeling Kim's soothing tongue in his mouth..
Enchong stood there awkwardly watching them kiss..
A few weeks later their relationship was basically on the rocks.. their ffights turned serious and their fights turned unfixable..
One night.. Kim and Gerald's fight seemed so serious, Kim left the apartment she lived in and she drove to Enchong's..
Later that night after Enchong's comforting.. a kiss was shared in between them.. and then Kim knew.. that Enchong was a better choice for her.
The next few days Gerald agreed to let their relationship go.. after long long nights of leading and trying to kiss and make up.. he said to her that "we should remain bestfriends..its probably for the best.. and we shouldnt speak a word about our relationship.. EVER..i love you Kim.. always have.. and always will.. okay?"
He caressed her cheek and gave her an unforgettable kiss..

Kim's flashback ended and she pushed Gerald away..
Gerald looked at her awkwardly and said..
"what was that for!?"
Kim sighed and honestly answered..
"..our history still haunts me Gerald.."
Gerald sighed and took the seat beside her bed..
"me too babe.. me too.."
Kim looked at him..
"babe? what do you mean babe?"
Gerald mumbled..
"wala.. sorry na.. its.. its just.. our past really gets to me sometimes.. i mean what happend to us? we were so happy..so loving i dont get it.."
Kim didnt look at him..
"..gerald.. we promised to never bring this upp.. leave our past.. just leave it.."
