*Fast forwarded to the wedding*

'Beep beep beep beep beep' was the sound of the alarm clock in Nancy's room. She reluctantly opened her eyes, and stared at the clock next to her, and pressed on the button. She sat up, took one breath in and got out of the bed.

Leila, who stayed over from the party held last night, was sleeping on the couch. Nancy walked over, and slightly pushed Leila by the arm. "Leila, wake up. We have to get ready for the wedding." She said loudly.

The voice of Nancy woke Leila up. She sat up on the couch, and gave a big yawn. She popped up from the couch, and said. "Alright, let's get this started."

Nancy went to the bathroom. She took a shower, and washed her hair. When she was finally done, her dress was the first priority. She stood in front of the closet, where the dress was hung up. She looked at her dress with twinkle in her eyes. She ran her hand through the white gown. It was a sleeveless dress, where the front was opened in a v-shape. Flowers were not visible on the dress because Nancy felt that simple was the best for her. She took the dress off the hanger, and began to change her clothes.

She sat in front of the mirror. Her aunt, who came back to visit, was also there to help her out. Her aunt took a brush, and gently combed through her soft silky black hair. She then took the hair, and wrapped it around into a bun. She added flowers on her hair, to complete the full style. Then her veil was added in.

"Leila, are you done dressing? I have to do your make-up. You know, the second most important girl of the wedding has to be pretty also." She yelled as she giggled at the end of her sentence.

"Alright." Leila said, as she took her stick, and made it safely to Nancy's room.

"Sit down." Nancy said as she led her to the chair. Nancy took out the make-up, and began to do her magic. 'A little lip gloss there. and maybe some blue eye shadow there. And of course, a few powder will do.' Nancy mumbled as she was polishing Leila off.

"Nancy, the limo's here. Are you ready?" her aunt yelled.

"Ready as I'll ever be." She yelled back, and held Leila by the arm.

"Thanks for being here with my today." Nancy whispered.
"Thanks for having a blind person to be your bridesmaid." She said with a smile. Nancy held onto her hand, and slowly walked out of the front door of her apartment.

*At the church*

"Dude, stop playing with your tie. Gosh, its good enough." Ron complained as he saw Ray play with his suit.

Ray gave him a stern look. "Hey! You're not the one getting married. You wouldn't know how it feels." he said as once again he tried fixing his tie.

Ron put his arm around his shoulder. He gave a slight laugh. "Alright man. Got it. But I'm surprised you chose me as your best man." He said.

"I don't have any friends. If it ain't you, then who?" He said looking at the mirror.

"What you trying to say? I'm your back-up?" He questioned.

They looked at each other for a few seconds. Then they started laughing. "Alright, I'm sorry man. Just playing with you." Ron said.

"I'm nervous enough. But thanks for being here. It means a lot." Ray said as he patted his back.

"Um, is the groom and the best man ready? The wedding is about to start." An usher asked peeking his head through the door.

They looked at each other. They straightened out their suit. And replied, "We're ready."

Nancy and Leila were standing outside of the church door. Instead of the father standing by Nancy's side, it was Leila. "You ready?" Leila asked.

Nancy took one breath in. "I'm ready."

Music was being played. The traditional wedding song was slowly played on the piano, as Leila and Nancy were walking in together. The church was small, but Raymond and Nancy never had that many friends and family to begin with, so the place worked for them.

Nancy and Leila walked in unison. Left foot, then right foot, then left foot. Nancy was staring at Raymond the whole time. Her smile shined brightly as she was getting closer to Raymond. Raymond, also stared at Nancy. Ron's eyes were laid on Leila instead of the bride. He gave a light smile, as his eyes went to Nancy.

They finally approached the men.

"Who is giving the bride away?" The minister asked. Nancy stood there. Knowing she had no father, she was about to talk when Leila said, "I do." Nancy looked at Leila, and gave her a long hug. "Thanks Leila." she said to her. The ceremony started not for a long time, yet Nancy's eyes were beginning to bubble in tears. "Anytime Nancy. I'm always here for you." Leila whispered as they withdrew from their hug.

Leila stood on Nancy's side, while Ron stood on Raymond's side.

"Today, I'm going to do something different. Instead of the traditional vows, the bride and groom decided to write their own." He stated and looked at Ray and Nancy.

Nancy started first. " Ray. I love you with all my heart. You were there when I felt invisible. You were there to pick me up. You were there to give me all the happiness that I ever needed. I love you like I love my lobster." The crowd gave a light chuckle. " You are my everything. And today, I am glad to be standing here, with you. I love you Ray." She finished off.

Raymond stared deep into her lovely eyes. He began to speak. "Nancy, I am nothing without you. If you never came into my life, I wouldn't understand what true happiness felt like. The first time I saw, I knew you were the one. Nancy, you are my soul, my happiness, my love, and my everything. I love you." He completed the speech with a kiss on her cheek.

"No kissing yet." Ron suddenly said. The crowd giggled.

Now, the bride and groom started to cry, but their smile never left their faces. "Rings please." the minister said.

Ron and Leila each took out a ring. Leila handed one to Nancy. And Ron handed one to Raymond.

"Alright, We know you both love each other, so I'm going to skip the would you marry each other part." The minister said with a huge smile. Ray and Nancy looked at each other and started to laugh.

"By the power invested in me, and the police, and the government, and whoever has the power here, I pronounce you, husband and wife. NOW you may kiss the bride."

Ray looked back at Nancy, and slowly leaned in to give her a soft passionate kiss.

"Woo HOO..Alright honey. You go girl" Some girl cheered.
"Woo, Raymond, you look hot today." Another girl screamed.

The whole crowd laughed. They began to walk together on the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lam.

Once outside, pictures were taken constantly. Ron stood next to Leila the whole time, holding onto her arm. " I love you." Ron whispered into her ears. Leila smiled. "I love you too." She whispered and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

A man walked up to Raymond and Nancy. "Congrats to the both of you." he said holding out his hand.

"Dad? what are you doing here?" Raymond asked in shock. Nancy looked at the man in front of her, then looked back at Raymond.

"Son, I know I'm not welcomed here. I just want to say good luck, then I'll leave." he said as turned around, and began walking the other way.

Nancy was looking at Raymond. She was pulling onto his sleeve. "What?" Raymond asked her.

"C'mon Ray. You can't hold onto this grudge for this long. Can you just try? For me?" She asked and gave him a puppy face.

Raymond stared at her. Then looked back at his father. "Dad!." He yelled. His father looked back. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" Raymond asked. A smile spread across his father's face. " I would love to." He replied, and walked towards the couple.

"Alright girls. I'm going to throw the bouquet now. Get ready." Nancy yelled out.

Leila was standing on the side, listening. "Honey, you want to join?" Ron asked.

"No, I can't see. Why bother." she replied, and gave out a long sigh.

Nancy threw the bouquet over her head. It flew to a very far distance, and landed on Leila's hand. Leila was shocked at the touch of a bouquet. "Our lucky winner, Leila." Nancy yelled. " I knew you two were going to get married soon." She added on. Ron looked at the happy face of Leila. Then he looked down. 'I'm just afraid there won't be time for that.' Ron thought.

They were walking towards the limo. Nancy and Raymond were walking before Ron and Leila. Suddenly, Leila felt Ron's grip getting tighter. Leila turned towards Ron. "Ron are you ok?" She whispered.

"I..I'm fine." He said weakly.

Suddenly, there was a loud thud coming from the ground. Raymond and Nancy turned back and saw Ron lying on the floor. "Ron!" They both screamed.
