Charmaine was sent to the hospital immediately, to check for any other injuries. “I said I don’t need to go to the hospital. It’s not necessary!” Charmaine yelled during the journey to the hospital.
“It’s just a check up, Charmaine. Well, you WERE hung up from a crane for, god knows how many hours. Just a little check up won’t hurt.” Ron, who was sitting beside her, tried to calm her down.
“And besides, if anything happened to you, Raymond would murder us and burn our corpse into ashes, then he will use it to feed some hideous animal.” Bosco joked while driving.
“I will murder YOU instead! And trust me, I if I told you what I will do to you, I’m certain that you would definitely think that what Raymond might do to you, is actually really lenient compared to what I could do to you!” she smirked when she realized that Bosco didn’t have his usual smart-ass comments. “What happened to Ray anyway?” she asked curiously.
“Oh, the police wanted to ask him some questions about the incident. So he had to stay at the harbor for a short questionnaire.” Ron answered, without looking at her. She nodded and for the rest of the trip, no-one spoke a word. But it wasn’t an awkward silence though; it was just silence where everyone enjoyed the sound of the soft wind brushing against the window.
“Mr. Lam, how did you know that Miss Sheh was captured?” the policeman asked Raymond politely.
“Well, when I realized that she had not arrived at the hospital one hour after when she was supposed to arrive. So Ron, my best friend, and I went to her house to find her. But when we arrived, we found the door unlocked and we discovered a video in her room. And that’s when we realized that she was kidnapped.” He explained making sure he had not missed anything.
“Why didn’t you contact the police department, did you know that going to confront an ex-gangster leader, is very dangerous?” the policeman asked, this time with a serious expression.
Raymond nodded. “He told me not to, and I was afraid that I will put Charmaine’s life in danger.”
The policeman shook his head, “You’ll put your life in more danger if you go by yourself. Luckily your friends called us.”
Raymond nodded once again. “When can I leave, sir?”
“You can leave now, but can you have a look at the report and sign at the bottom please.” He said while pointing at the bottom of the page.
Raymond nodded and quickly signed the paper, eager to see Charmaine again.
“Charmaine, although you have no serious problems with your health at the moment, but we suggest to stay at the hospital for one night. This is so that we can examine thoroughly for any other minor problems that may arise later on.” Steven, one of the doctors who Charmaine has met before previously, explained.
“WHAT! I can stay. I mean, I DON’T WANT to stay!” Charmaine exclaimed.
“I’m very sorry Charm, but it’s for your health. I really hope you can cooperate with us.” he said calmly.
“But………” Charmaine began
“Charmaine, you’re about to become a doctor. You should know that, to a doctor, their patient’s health is the most important. You are my patient now, so I hope can help me make sure that your health is in excellent condition.” Steven said with a pleading tone. “Besides, Raymond wouldn’t let you go anyways if he knew that it is required for you to stay.” He added.
“Geez! He acts more like my mother than my boyfriend!” Charmaine shouted and pouted afterwards.
Charmaine was sitting on her bed pouting with Bosco and Ron beside her bed, not knowing what to do to be able to cheer her up.
“Come on Charm! Stop pouting! It’s making ME feel bad!” Bosco yelled after 5 minutes of silence. Charmaine thought it was pretty funny, so she made the puppy eyes and looked directly at Bosco.
She giggled afterwards and joked, “Aren’t you lucky to have such a good friend like me?”
“Lucky? I must have killed my parents in my last life, to have a friend like you today!” Bosco yelled.
Ron patted Bosco on the back, hoping to calm him down, “Calm down Bosco. She’s never had to stay at a hospital before, the first time would be frightening, you should comfort her instead.”
Bosco gave a sarcastic laugh, “If I comfort HER, WHO will comfort ME?”
Charmaine felt bad for all the trouble she has given him, “I’m sorry Bosco. I really didn’t mean to get you angry.”
A smirk rose onto Bosco’s lips, “Fooled ya! Do you really think you could get me angry that easily? I just felt like making you apologizing to me!” he began laughing aloud, with his mouth open to the size of a large orange. This caused Charmaine to get really annoyed, so she picked up her pillow she was leaning on, and jumped out of her bed chasing Bosco attempting to hit him with it. She was finally able to trap him into a corner of the room, where she was bashing him continually with the pillow, but lightly. It was then when Raymond entered the room, seeing his good friend getting attacked by his girlfriend, with a pillow.
“Ouch! Ouch! Help Raymond!” Bosco pleaded, and he ran over to Raymond, taking cover from the attempts, using Raymond as a shield.
Charmaine finally stopped, seeing that Bosco was standing there helplessly behind Raymond, where he seemed apologetic. She threw her pillow back onto the bed and hugged Raymond tightly. “I missed you!”
Raymond smiled, “Me too!”
“Oh my gosh! You two love birds make me want to vomit!” Bosco said with disgust, and pretending to do the actions of vomiting. Raymond laughed and belted him across the back of his head, making him yelp lightly.
Ron chuckled softly, causing everyone to look at him. “What are you guys looking at?” he asked inquisitively.
Raymond, Charmaine and Bosco looked at each other. Suddenly, all three of them charged at Ron leaving him too shocked to be able to retaliate. Raymond and Bosco both grabbed the quilt provided on Charmaine’s bed and covered his head with it. Charmaine on the other hand, used her pillow to hit him lightly, yet continuously.
“Ouch! Ouch! Stop! Stop! Please! Ouch!” Ron shouted through the blanket during the attack.
They all eventually stopped when they had no more power to continue. All three of them lay on the bed like starfishes, while Ron was lying on the floor on top of the quilt, exhausted from trying to protect himself.
“You deserved ever single part of that!” Bosco said aloud, while still lying on the bed.
Ron sat up, spreading his legs and supporting his body weight using his arms behind him. “Why?” he asked confusedly.
“For 2 reasons! One, you didn’t help me when I needed help the most. Two, you laughed when I got attacked by vicious Raymond.” Bosco said, avoiding the evil stares from Raymond when he said the second reason.
Steven came into the room, shocked when he saw that the quilts and pillow was lying on the floor along with his friend Ron. He then turned to face the ‘starfish’ group, who were lying on the bed.
“Did a tornado drop by? Why is the room such a mess?” he asked while still examining the shocking condition the room was in.
They all stood up when they heard Steven. Ron quickly scooped up the blankets and pillow of the floor and threw it onto the bed.
“Hey Steve!” Ron, Raymond and Bosco said at the same time. They all laughed loudly at the perfect timing when they said greeted Steven.
“Charmaine is no severe condition, but we still recommend her to stay at the hospital, just in case anything shows up during the evening. It’s better to be certain.” Steven began when everyone became quiet.
Raymond nodded and when he looked at Charmaine, she was pouting at him. “No Charmaine, you’re staying here tonight no matter what.”
“Awwwwww……… that sucks majorly!” she whined, but nodded unwillingly afterwards.
“I can’t believe it Raymond! You’ve got the power! Both Ron and I couldn’t persuade her to stay, and you did it in like, 5 seconds! Can you teach me? It may come in handy one day.” Bosco said while being one inch away from going into hysterics, because he couldn’t handle a girl.
Raymond stuck out his tongue and hugged Charmaine closely. “By the way Bosco, the other night I saw you and Myolie…” Steven began but was cut off when Bosco jumped towards him and covered his mouth. Everyone became suspicious and glared at Bosco. Raymond and Ron quickly grabbed Bosco off Steven, so that he could say what he was going to say before about Bosco.
Steven smirked at Bosco and began to repeat what he was saying, “As I was saying, the other night I saw you and Myolie outside the bar restaurant doing what normal couples do. When did you guys hook up?” Raymond, Ron and Charmaine’s eyes widen before they began to laugh at Bosco.
Bosco puffed up his cheeks and glared at Steven, “We got together that night. I don’t see a problem with that. I love her, she loves me, we were destined to be together. Have you got any queries?”
Raymond cracked up laughing even harder when he heard Bosco say that. “Hey Bosco, since when did you start to believe in destiny, or, love? I never thought you would ever be interested in girls. You made me think you were gay at first!”
“Then you don’t know me very well, Raymond. I have had many previous girlfriends, but I broke up with them because I realized that we were totally different people, in totally different worlds.”
“Yeah, I know. You’re gay and their not. You live in a gay world, and they live on Earth. Of course they won’t be your type.” Raymond continued, while in the background, Ron, Charmaine and Steven were laughing so hard that their stomachs began to hurt.
“I’m not even going to bother explaining to you. All I’m going to say is, I’m not gay and I truly love Myolie.” Bosco said, pouting.
From the door way, a familiar voice was heard. “I heard my name be mentioned.” Bosco turned around and found Myolie standing at the door way. He ran up to her and hugged her tightly.
Charmaine rolled her eyes, “Myolie, I pity you. You are going to put up with this ‘kid’, for the rest of your life.”
“No need. I’m lucky to be able to have Bosco. I don’t wish for anything more.” Myolie replied with a sweet smile. Everyone gave up on calling Bosco gay, when they saw them attached like honey and a bee.
Tavia all the sudden came running through the doors of Charmaine’s room. She didn’t see Charmaine since Raymond, Bosco, Myolie and Steven were standing in front of her. Ron was standing closest to the door way, and he was whom Tavia went to first when she didn’t see Charmaine. “Where’s Charm? Where is she?” Tavia yelled out while tears came running out from her eye.
“She’s…………” Ron began to say that she was standing behind the 3 guys and Myolie, when Tavia cut him off.
“I can’t lose her! She’s my only sister!” Tavia screamed, while continually crying. Tavia hugged Ron tightly and cried on his shoulder.
“Uh…… Tavia? Charmaine is over there.” Tavia turned around, and she watched the 3 guys step to the side, which revealed Charmaine.
“CHARMAINE!” Tavia shouted, and she ran up to her and hugged her tightly.
“It’s ok Tav. I’m ok. It’s just that SOME PEOPLE won’t let me NOT stay at the hospital for one night.” She said while glaring at Raymond, who smiled at her.
“By the way Tav, when did you get so close to Ron? You guys hugged like you’ve done it before.” Bosco asked suspiciously.
“Uh……um……” Tavia couldn’t find the right words. She glanced at Ron, hoping that he would help her.
“Charmaine, I want to ask you a question.” Ron asked, cutting Bosco off.
Charmaine was surprised and curious about Ron’s sudden serious expression, “Sure.”
“I want to ask, whether you can let Tavia be with me.”
“What do you mean by that?” Charmaine asked, a bit confused from the way he asked the question. Tavia was shocked. She knew what he meant, but she wouldn’t refuse his confession though. When she was with Ron, she felt the feeling of being safe and protected. She loved that feeling, and she would never trade anything for it.
“I want to be with Tavia. I love her. I love her presence.” Ron said it more straight forward this time. He felt embarrassed, but he didn’t regret it.
Charmaine smiled, “Of course. I would love Tavia to be with you. You’re such a great guy, and I wont need to worry about Tavia, if she is with you. But is she willing though?”
Seeing all the faces turning towards her, she nodded dramatically while smiling crazily. She ran up to Ron and hugged him tightly. Everyone cheered, especially Bosco. But he was then told to shut up when he began to overreact.
“Ok, time to go. I think you guys should let Charmaine have a rest. You can come visit her tomorrow, because it’s getting late now.” Steven said.
“What time is it?” Ron asked curiously.
“It’s 5 o’clock.” Steven replied. Within ten minutes, everyone was gone, leaving only Charmaine in the room by herself.
The door began to open again slowly. When Charmaine saw, she thought it was Raymond.
“Hey Ray, why are you back?” She began. But when the door opened completely, she realized the person wasn’t Raymond.
The person seemed familiar. Charmaine knew she had seen this person before, but she couldn’t recall when or where.
“Hello Charmaine, do you remember me?” the girl said.
Suddenly something came up. She remembered who she was. “You’re………… that waitress at the restaurant.” Charmaine said slowly.
The girl giggled softly, “Your memory is not that bad after all. I’m Selina by the way.”
Charmaine nodded. “Why have you come to visit me?”
“Aren’t you curious about who called you to warn you about Michael?” Selina asked softly.
Charmaine became really curious, “It was you?”
Selina nodded. “I’m quite happy that you actually trusted me.”
“Why did you help me?” Charmaine asked curiously.
“I didn’t want Michael to hurt anyone else. He has already killed many people previously, I don’t want him to continue.” Selina explained.
“Who are you exactly?”
“I’m Selina Li. Michael Mui’s adopted daughter, but he made me his god daughter instead.”
“Thank you very much for helping me. I really appreciate it.”
Selina nodded. “Oh. And by the way, your boyfriend, Raymond, ain’t as smart as I thought.”
“Why do you say that? What did he do?” Charmaine asked curiously, since she had always thought Raymond was the smartest person she has ever met.
“Last time when you guys came to have dinner at the restaurant I was working at, I tried to tell him that Michael is after him. I attempted to use body language, which he had studied about in university. And he thought I was flirting with him. My head was about to burst with anger from his stupidity.” Selina explicated, emphasizing her anger in the last part, using her hands.
Charmaine laughed. “I agree. He can be a bit, stupid, sometimes.”
Both of them laughed aloud at the fact that Raymond was not as ‘bright’ as others.
Charmaine loved her life. It couldn’t possibly get any better, it had already gone to a point where she was completely satisfied with everything she had. Her friends, sister, and especially Raymond were important to her, and she would never do anything to change that.

I have decided on my new story. Definite characters include Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam, Bosco Wong and Ron Ng.
I will decide on other characters that will be included, if you want someone to be added. You can request it in the comments, and i will consider adding them to my cast.. :D
