They both scramble off the bed and tried to cover their bodies with the blankets. It was the first time meeting Sandy’s father. Jae felt so ashamed being caught in that situation. He knew Sandy’s dad is mad as hell seeing them both that way.
“What the hell are you doing Sandy?” Mr. Park roars angrily
“I’m sorry sir… but I….” Jae tried to explain but was interrupted
“Shut up! I did not ask you did I?” He stares at Jae viciously
Jae felt the intensity of that stare.. as if it’s piercing through him
“Sandy! he shouted again… answer me!..” His voice is full of authority
Sandy just grins at him… she was never afraid of her father…. She never respected him in any way…. Ever since he destroyed their family… ever since she had an affair with her girl secretary seven years ago…
“How can you unpleasantly barge in into someone else’s room father…??..” She said sarcastically
“Ohh.. do you expect me to just sit around upon knowing you’re sleeping with this….. this…. useless guy???..” he’s father pointing a finger to Jae
“Ohhh please father… don’t speak about decency here…. And besides he’s not a useless guy.. how can you arrogantly say that??? He’s my boyfriend… and I love him..” she smugly said it to his father
Jae was just silent listening in shock… how can Sandy talked back to her father like that… He never knew Sandy to be that way… Yes… she’s arrogant sometimes… She’s hard headed too but how can she say that things to her father… it’s her father…. Not just anybody.. he tried to hold Sandy’s hand… giving it a little squeeze… telling her to stop arguing.
“Love him??? That’s what you said about that Ervin guy… look what he did to you…”
Jae saw a little compassion on Mr. Park’s eyes.
“Ohhh get over it already father…. That was just the past… I’m with Jae now… so just… leave me alone!..”
Knowing he cannot win over her daughter stubbornness… he looked at Jae… angrily… and said… “You are not the right one for my daughter… so stop all this nonsense and don’t see her anymore!..”
Both Jae and Sandy looked at Mr. Park… He could not believe that her father would actually oppose to their relationship. Especially after seeing them on that situation.
“But sir… I love her….” Jae tries to persuade him.
“I don’t care if you love my daughter or not. You both are in two different worlds…”
“I don’t believe you father! how can you say that to us?? Do you actually believe that we’ll just agree to whatever you say?? Do you expect me to ask for your approval??? Stop being so ridiculous father… since when did you care about my personal life… ohh… please… you’re life is more complicated than mine… so…. Just… take care of yours as usual ….” Sandy rolled her eyes on her father and stubbornly sits on her couch.
Mr. Park was really angry but at the same time he knew that he can never win over Sandy in a confrontation. She always finds her way out.
“I’ll give you 5 minutes to get the hell out of my property boy… don’t let me call someone and charge you with trespassing and rape…you know I can easily do that sandy..” He then turns his back from them and walk towards the exit of her room.
Jae and Sandy both eyes wide opened upon hearing it. She then looks at her mom and Sanji. Her mom just shrugs her shoulder and followed her father to exit.
“Just let Jae go home for now. We’ll talk it out later…” as Sanji pats Jae shoulders. Sorry about that Jae.
Jae was saddened by everything that happened. How can the father of the girl he truly love opposed to their relationship…? he was like being robbed by something important to him.
He was called as a useless guy by Mr. Park… Yes he was treated like a god by their fans… by the entertainment industry… but to Mr. Park… he’s just a nobody. Of course to the elites… they are really a nobody… they are just a bunch of good looking guys who entertains people, dance and sing for them to earn money…. Jae feels like he was thrown into a pit on his sudden realization, that maybe…. He really doesn’t really fit for Sandy.
Sandy knew that Jae has been hurt by her father’s words. He saw his expression upon hearing all those harsh words. she really feels sorry for him… and she was angry at her father for causing pain to the person she loves dearly. To her…. She is the perfect guy for her. She needed to fight for him… for her own happiness.
Sanji left them for a while. He knew the two young lovers needed to talk… he felt bad for both of them… He’s been through that as well… he suddenly remember how it pained him….he don’t want her sister to be like him…
As Jae picks up all his clothes on the floor… he still kept thinking of what Sandy’s father told him… “I’m not fit for his daughter????..” He felt like being stab in the heart a couple of times. He felt like crying….
“I’ll call you…” Jae sadly kissed her forehead.
Sandy hugs him and kissed him on his back… “I’m sorry babe… just let me handle my father okay?? Don’t worry about it..”
He faces Sandy and stared at her face for a while… “okay… but talk to your father nicely… and don’t talk back at him… he’s your father… I will do not like it when you talk back at him.. ok….”
Sandy smirk at him… “just because he’s my father doesn’t mean he can tell me what to do. You don’t know him… so don’t take his side…”
“I’m not taking his side… he’s an elder after all… so don’t talk back at him… just talk to him nicely ok…promise?? ohh.. well… I should be going now…. Or.. I’ll be charge by trespassing and rape if I don’t leave right now…” he coldy smiled at her.
“Ok… I promise… call me when you arrive at your apartment..” Sandy feels Jae’s pain… She knew that the smile he’s been giving him is forced. She was going crazy mad at his father. He treated Jae like a garbage… how can her father do that. how can he say that to the guy she’s willing to spend the rest of her life with…
“why is he being like this??? aaiissshhh…. I hate him so much…” she utters to herself.
He left……
After calming her thoughts Sandy feels like she needed to talk to her father soon… She then runs out of her room and went to her parents room.. she did not bother to knock… they don’t expect me to come knocking on their door.. do they??? Because they even busted my door. and got in She told herself..
“Where’s Dad??? I need to talk to her…”as she searches inside the room
“He went out already Sonny….” Her mom….
She turns her rage unto her mom…. “How can you let Dad speak to my boyfriend like that mom?? You did not even bother stopping him…”
“I’m so sorry sonny… but he was really mad at that time… I’m afraid….he’ll..”
“He’ll what Mom??? Leave you again?? How can you even let him do this to me… are you even my Mom???..” She runs as her tears slowly falls through her face.. she hated her dad too much… before… her mom… and his brother… now her….
She clinch her teeth in madness…
