“hyung… why are you so early? Did you have a good time last night…” as Xiah grins at him wickedly.
“Ohhh,,, I bet he did…” Max added with a bright smile
He can see that his friends were expecting him to arrive there smiling and boasting about last night. But he could not just jump around about how great that night was with Sandy, especially with what happened this morning.
“Ahhh… yah… last night was great…” he force a smile out of her lips.
The others suddenly realize that something must be not right; they notice Jae’s cold and sad expression…
“Hey.. what happened?? Why are you like that??..” Yunho sounded worried
“Nothing really… I’m just tired..”
“Is that so??? We are still at least expecting a happy Jae to arrive this morning… but looks like it’s actually the opposite…” Micky worriedly looks at him.. trying to figure out what’s going on.
“Nothing really… maybe because my head hurts a little…” Jae trying explain
They were startled by a sudden doorbell ring… Yunho went to see to find out who came…
“This is Mr. Kim…. Mr Park wishes to speak to Kim Jaejoong.. may we come in???..” Yunho looks at Jae
“Hey… he said Mr. Park wanted to talk to you… should I let them in??..”
They all looks at Jae who seems turned pale upon hearing Mr. Park’s name… He just nodded
“What’s going on hyung??..” Max whispered to Micky…
“I don’t know.. seems like trouble to me.. “
A bunch of guys in black suit entered first then followed by a very sophisticated looking person. He was about mid fifties in age, six feet in height and hair neatly fixed.
Jae and his friends are in total awe upon the presence of Mr. Park he has this striking aura that fills their apartment.
“Kim Jaejoong… I’m sure you knew why I’m here right.?..” He ask with an authority in his voice..
“Yes sir..”. as Jae bows for respect.
“Now… do you want us to talk in front of your friends or you rather talk privately…?..” He stares at Jae like he’s gonna eat him.
“We’ll just go to the kitchen sir..” Yunho answered nervously… as he pulls his friends towards the kitchen.. they we’re so nervous that they did not even dare to take a peek to the living room where Jae and Mr. Park is.
“Wow… he’s really scary hyung…” Max as he sat on the kitchen chair…
“He’s Sandy’s father??” Micky ask yunho…
“I think so…” yunho anwered.. “but why is he here… why is Jae looking so upset?..”

Jae trembles as he looks at the floor. He can feel Sandy’s father stares piercing him… He’s mad at himself for being like a coward in front of Mr. Park.. how can he fight for Sandy if he’s being like this…?? he cannot even stare back at him. He hates himself for being like that.
“So tell me Jae… do you need me to repeat everything that I said earlier???..”
“No sir… but I love her… I love your daughter as much as my own life…”
Mr. Park laughs at him… Jae looks at him straight in the eyes.. he’s starting to get annoyed at him… how can he still laugh at a situation like this. . he thinks what I said is funny???
“It’s true sir… I love Sandy more than my life….more than anything else..”
Mr. Park let out another series of laugh. “All right let’s say you love her….I’ll deal with that… but do you know what will happened to Sandy if the press or the public finds out??..” Mr.Park glares at him.
Jae looks at him… somehow he is starting to realize what he meant.
“Sandy may be really feel uncomfortable with press following her around… and some of our fans might harassed her.. but…. If that’s what you worry sir… I… I’ll protect her. I’m sure Sandy doesn’t really mind… as long as were together…” Jae trying to explain and convince him.
“If that’s the only reason, do you think I’ll personally talk to you like this?? I can very well protect her and my family if that’s what is needed…” He sarcastically looks at Jae.
“What do you mean Sir?” Jae seems to be puzzled… is there any other reason why he doesn’t permit me to see his daughter??? He asks himself
They were silenced for a while.. Mr. Park still looking at his puzzled face,
“You do not know anything about our Family right?? About our past? I’ll tell you then…. Do you know that my wife and my son have been admitted into psychiatric and rehab facility before..? My daughter doesn’t know that Jae… I kept that from her… I’m still trying to keep it from…”
“Psychiatric facility???” Jae and the other guys who have somehow heard their conversation from the kitchen are shocked… “why???..” Jae ask
“You don’t need to know the reason…. You know the press will dig up everything if they found out about your relationship with my daughter. Do you have any idea what will happened to Sandy if she fids out about this and if all this will be out in the public?? It’s not me or anybody else who will suffer.. it’s her. Like your world… ours relay on good reputation and image… I’ve been protecting mine…” he smiled at Jae meaningfully…. “I’m sure you you’ve been doing it too…”
Jae couldn’t believe what he was hearing... somehow he understand what Sandy’s father meant. If all these will be public… Sandy will surely be devastated…
“Tell me sir… why? Why is Sanji and your wife went into those facility?..”
Mr. Park looks at Jae… he somehow sees his sincerity about Sandy… maybe he really love my daughter… he thought… but he doesn’t want to risk anything for their relationship… not now.. that everything seems to be alright…
“I…..” he stutters while trying to look for courage to speak about what really happened. “When my wife found out I’m having an affair with my secretary my wife started to get depress… she started to become alcoholic…. and almost went crazy… about Sanji… well,…” he stop for a while… Jae could see that he was holding back something… some how He let out a sigh and said… “my secretary…. She was…. His girlfriend… after learning Sanji started to take drugs…”.
Jae gasp for air when he heard it. He could not believe what kind of person Sandy’s father is. Somehow he was mad at him… he thought he could never blame sandy for hating her father.. He understands her now. He could not just give up her love for sandy for this pathetic man in front of him…when he was about to speak….
“How dare you father!!!..” Sandy shouted…
They all looked at the door where sandy was standing… listening to their conversation.
Sandy felt weak upon hearing everything from her father. She could not believe that her mother almost gone crazy because of her dad… and her loving brother…. Sanji whom she adores…. Went trough all that… and now her relationship with Jae?? She felt ashamed of her life all of a sudden…she feels like her world collapses on her.
“How can you do that to mom?? And Sanji!?..” She shouted at her father.. who seems to be in shock seeing her at that moment.
“Am I the one who’s going to pay for everything you did?? How dare you come here and threaten Jae to end our relationship…! Are you even my father!?” Her tears keeps falling endlessly down her face.
Mr. Park started to walk towards her. Wanting to touch her..
“Don’t touch me! You are not my father….I don’t want to talk to you... ever!..” She runs into Jae’s bedroom and locked the door
Jae saw how hurt Sandy was. He could not bear seeing her cry… every tear she shed felt like he’s being stab in the heart. He angrily looks at Mr Park.
“I won’t give her up!..” Jae said. He somehow gained the courage to speak up against Sandy’s father…
“If you’re reputation is important to you… I’m sorry…. I can give up mine for Sandy. You’ve lost everything the moment you started that relationship with your son’s girlfriend. You can leave our apartment now…. father….. And bring your men with you..” … Gritting his teeth Jae walk past Sandy’s father and looked at him with bitterness.
Mr. Park somehow lost all his striking aura… he was like being crashed like an ice. he looks like a someone who feels like total failure. He started to walk into the door… and signaled his men to leave.
