“Hyung how is she?” Jaejoong could no longer hide his concern over his own girlfriend. Teddy just came down from the stairs of their house after sending Dara to bed.
Teddy shook his head
“I don’t know Jae, she’s been crying and won’t even talk”
“Can I talk to her? Maybe she’ll listen to me” Jaejoong frowned but was hopeful that the older guy would allow him. Just thinking about how Dara would struggle and fight depression makes him worried that he was willing to spend every second with her to make sure that she won’t so anything stupid. But as expected Teddy didn;t agree. Maybe time was all Dara needed.
“No Jae. She’s still in shock of what happened. Just let her rest for a while, if she gets better in the morning then maybe she’ll talk to us”
“Aish!” Jaejoong gritted
“I can’t believe she’s been through that. Do you think we should bring her to the hospital hyung? I mean she could be injured”
“She doesn’t want to” Teddy shrugged, he himself was a bit worried as well.
“Just give her time, she’s strong. I know she can get over it in no time”
“That’s what I’m afraid the most. Haven’t you realize?she’s been holding it. And she doesn’t even want me to touch her”
“That’s pretty understandable Jae, I bet right now she’s even thinking of breaking up with you”
“What? no way hyung! I won’t! she can cry all she want but I will not let her break up with me”
Teddy smiled. He does appreciate his friends sincerity and he was sorry for even trying to break the two up. He patted Jaejoong’s back and lead him to their kitchen.
“Stay for tonight though. Keep me company. Maybe it’s time for both of us to catch up for the lost time. Beer?” Offering the other a cold beer
“Yeah! I needed this one too. My ribs hurts…. Sean and Danny went to the hospital with the others?” He frowned while twitching his body around”
Teddy nodded
“Me too. Never been beaten for a while. I thought I’ll lose a limb today” Teddy chuckled
“Thanks for today JJ!”
“No problem hyung” They settled on the couch while Teddy switched the TV on
“What do you think will happen to Dongwook and Top?”
“Yunho will be taking care of that. Gen Park and his men are quite good in those matters. .They’re the one who helped me set up and tampered dad’s incident remember?”
Jae just nodded.
“I’ll visit those little jerks tomorrow. I’ll make sure they’ll regret everything they’ve done. I’ll make sure they’ll both live in jail until their very last breath”

Jaejoong sat on Dara’s bedside and just stared at her lovely face. It was dark and Jaejoong’s only source of light was the bright moon he can still see see her face. she looked so solemn and pretty. She has this painful look in her sleep and Jaejoong knew that those shiny traces on her cheeks were her dried tears.
Jaejoong leaned in and rests his head on the free space on the bed facing her, being careful not to wake her up. He caressed her face with his fingers. Tracing her bruised face and lips softly with his fingertips.
Without really knowing it. Tears started to stream down from his eyes as well as he remember the scene before him early that evening. He knew her pain was hundred folds more painful than what he is feeling right now.
It’s almost dawn but he couldn’t sleep. He doesn’t want to sleep. He just wanted to be there with her. To make sure she’s ok.
“I’m sorry baby” He whispered to her ears
“I’m sorry if I could not save you that time. I’m sorry for letting him hurt you. Please be strong and try to forget about everything. I love you no matter what. Just be strong… I will not leave you… I promise….”
He leaned forward and softly kissed her lips. Just a peck to seal what he have promised and to maybe somehow feed the longing he needed. He took her hand and kissed it as well before putting it on his face as he rest his head again beside her head. Rubbing it against hers.
“I love you” he said again while closing his eyes.
But then he felt her scrambled off and curled up on the edge of her bed. Shaking, she was looking at him and Jaaejoong could sense that she was really scared.
“Dara it’s me” Jaejoong soothed her in a low voice. Afraid as well that she’ll panic. He stretched his arms towards her, wanting to touch her face but she flinched away. Scooted back more, almost falling off the edge
“Don’t touch me!”
“Baby it’s ok. Everything is fine now” He stood up and sat on the opposite side of the bed where Dara was but just enough for him to reach her. He reached for her again but like the first time she flinched away.
“No! I don’t want to be with you anymore. I don’t want to see you anymore” she said with finality, but Jaejoong could see that deep inside she was just hurting.
“Dara…” This time he pulled her into her arms, hugging her tight, despite her struggled to free and push herself away from him. She cried harder, feeling the warmness and security of the at hug that blanketed her. That was all she ever wanted, but when realization hit her she backed away again, pushing the guy off her.
“Jae… I’m dirty…. I’m disgusting… I don’t want you to spend your life with someone like me…. I… I’ve been rape! i can never be the Dara that you knew. I’m dirty!” She kept mumbling while rocking her body back and forth, Head in between her knees.
Jaejoong tears were endless as well. All he could feel was his deep love for her, and he swore that he’ll do everything to bring her back to the Dara he knew. Someone happy and strong.
“Shhh… Dara baby don’t say that… Please” he hugged her tighter, making sure she could feel him. “You’ll always be my Dara no matter what…. please don’t push me away” He sniffed through the crook of her neck, even holding her fragile body against him tighter.
“But I need to push you away…. You deserve someone better” she pushed him again as she lay down on her bed and turned her back on him. “I’m setting you free Jae. Find yourself a better girl.. someone who deserve you” She added, burying herself on her pillow, trying to stifle her sobs. She never wanted this… but this is all she could think about.
Jaejoong could hear her sobbing. Her shaking shoulders and body really visible against the little liight provided but the moon. He knew she never meant everything that she said. He stubbornly lay down beside her and hugged her gently wrapping his arms around her waist.
She stiffined of course, heart screaming to just accept the guy’s love but her mind was screaming otherwise.
“No matter how much you push me away. I will never let you go. I have already lost you once and I will never lose you again Dara”
He heard her cry more. Her sobs were so hurtful that Jaejoong felt like his heart was being stabbed multiple times. he felt like dying as well. But Jaejoong realized something. He needed to be strong for her. He wanted to give her strength and he knew exactly how to give it to her… He turned her around to face him and gently pulled her near him again. Slipping his left arm under her head to let her rest into his chest then hugged her tight and gently soothed her by rubbing her back in circles to make her relax
Jaejoong finally felt relieved felling her finally relaxing. Coaxing her to sleep
“I will always be here. Remember that… Always Dara…. Always”
He held her chin up and gently guided her head to face him.
“I have loved you…. even before I met you….” His stare locked at her face, still adoring her pretty features.
“And have loved you even before knowing your name” he smiled at her and she looked at him with great love and longing.
“and more so upon knowing you” he kissed her nose, both breath hitched on the closeness of their faces. Loving even the smell of their hot breaths against each others’ skins.
“Now loving you more each day that I have you” he kissed her her eyes, tears threatening to fall.
“And If I die before you do I’ll beg God to be reborn as Kim Jaejoong again. and I’ll look for you. And I promise I will. Even if we are in different ends of the world, I will lseek for you and love you all over again”
He smiled, tears finally falling. He leaned down finally giving her a kiss. This time longer and with more passion. He wanted her to forget everything and just take away all her pain. He continued kissing her… until he felt her kissing him back
And Jaejoong concluded that it was one of the sweetest kiss they have ever shared. Finally realizing something he should have done a long time ago…….
