“Congratulations, yours is tested positive, you may donate your blood.” The doctor informs me. As they draw the blood from me, all I can think of was saving Tina, she has to live, and with out her I am nobody. After the blood drawing was done, they took me outside to wait with the others. We waited and waited, finally the doctor came out.
“She has reached recovery, it a miracle she just didn’t die right away, that bullet was really close to her heart. But she fine, she must stay in the hospital a day or two maybe three, it depend on her conditions. But I still suggest she stay for at least 3 days.” The doctor said.
“Thank you doctor, but can we see her?” I asked
“Yes…but you must keep quiet, the patient need her rest.” The doctor led us to Tina room and went to do his other duty. We walked in and saw Tina laying there still unconscious. She looks so vulnerable, so fragile, and so weak. I wanted to pick her up and lay her in my arms; I want to hold her so I know she was safe. “Hyung Seung hyun, can you stay with her, I trust you more then your other boys, but we got to go, so can you?” Susanna asked.
“Yea, I can do that.” I said.
I walked next to the bed, “Tina if you can here me, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to get you shot at, I’m really sorry.” I want her to wake up, I want her to talk to me, scream at me, beat me up like she use to. I want her to be back to normal.
As if I prayer was answer, Tina slowly opens her eyes…
(End of TOP P.O.V)
I open my eyes, to see a familiar face, Seung hyun…he look ok, thank god, where am I?
“You finally woke up” he said
“What happen.” I said, he grabbed me and hugged me, “You scared the living hell out of me, I thought I would never get to hear your voice again. Tina why did you jump for the bullet, didn’t you know you couldn’t die?!”
I was to shock to say anything, he took me by surprise, and he seems so scared, worried, and sad, I was happy he was ok.
Then the door open, my uncle walked in, “Tina…”
I didn’t want to see him just yet, but seeing that he was ok, made me happy, I was glad, “Mr. Choi, can I speak with my niece?”
Seung hyun looked at me, I told him it was alright, and he left outside not to far from the room just next to the door.
“Tina…are you alright?”
I didn’t answer him.
“Tina, look I didn’t mean to force you out, I was mad, I didn’t mean to slap you, GOD I’m sorry, please forgive me.” He pleaded me; I started crying i want him to love me still, be with me, and be my favorite uncle again.
“I’m so sorry uncle; I didn’t mean to make you worry.”
“Shhh… it ok, as long as you forgive me and that you’re alright, I’m happy.”
“I want you to go back to our home, I want you with me. Please come back.” My uncle asks me. I didn’t want to say no, he my uncle, but what will the other say, I don’t want to leave them, but I uncle is getting old; I need to be with him.
“I’ll think about it.”
“Ok. I got to go, there are many grading paper, take care of your self, I will come see you again.” after my uncle left, Seung came back in, “Tina, are you alright?”
“Yea, Seung go back home, you need your rest, you been here all day.”
“I don’t want to leave you.”
“Please listen to me.”
“You’re sure.”
“Yes.”
“(Deep sigh) alright, I’ll be back to check on you.”
“Seung…”
“Huh?”
“Thank you.”
He smiled, “You’re welcome.” He walked up to me, and kissed my forehead, which caught me by surprise. “Take care of your self.”
“Ok.” I grabbed him before he takes his leave. I pulled him down and kissed his cheek, “Thank you again…”
Then I watch him leave…
