“Spit it out…whatever you want to say, spit it out…” said Sho, feeling irritated at the way they all acted…Nino opened his mouth…then he closed it…he opened it again and closed it…no words can’t come out now…not in this kind of situation…
“What are we going to do now??? Jun…will he be alright???” asked Aiba…sounded worried…all of them turned their eyes to look at Jun’s room…his door was opened but there was no sound came out from the room…
“He will…he has Mao isn’t it???” said Ohno…he believed that in this kind of situation and time, Mao is the only person who can calm Jun…Sho nodded…his expression was so serious…
“We promise to Jun that no matter what happen, we will always support him right???” he asked…Nino nodded…Aiba looked at Ohno…seriously, now that Jun was suspended from their activities, will it really mean that Jun can be part of them again???
“Yes…and I will stick to that promise…Arashi will never be complete without him…Arashi is Arashi…and that is when me, Nino, Sho, Aiba and Jun are in it…” said Ohno firmly…Aiba smiled…
“Well said, leader!!!” he said…Nino and Sho nodded too…
“All we need to do right now is to wait for the company’s further action before we tell them our decision on Jun…they need to respect our decision…Jun is Arashi’s member…and he will always be…” said Nino…Sho nodded…so do the others…suddenly, Jun came out from his room…
“Mao left me a message on the phone…she said she wanted to meet me now…can any of you accompany me to meet her???” he asked them…they exchanged looks…why would Jun needed a friend to accompany him seeing his fiancée???
“Okay…I’ll come with you,” said Ohno…Jun nodded…
“I’ll be ready in 10 minutes…” he said…Ohno nooded…

“What are you doing here??? If you only come here to break my son’s heart again, you can leave right now!!!” said Mrs Oguri…Mao stood looking at her straight in the eyes…
“I come to see Shun…and I promise I am not here to break his heart again…in fact, I am about to go and fix it…fix every single mistakes that I had done…” Mao said in a small voice…the numbness and coldness of her voice and action was somehow scary to anyone who heard and saw it…it was like she is a walking corpse with no soul and heart in it…
“Are you sure??? How can I believe you???” asked Mrs Oguri, eyeing her with great dislike and hatred…Mao chose to ignore her…she pushed her way into Shun’s room…he was laying on the bed, looking so fragile and breakable…Mao’s tears dropped down onto her cheeks the moment he saw Shun’s pale cheeks and weak body…she walked to him and sat down on the chair next to his bed…she took Shun’s hand and covered it with hers…his wrist where he had tried to cut and killed himself earlier was now covered with a bandage…but his other wrist, there was a scar on it…like what Mika had said before, Shun really did tried to kill himself…and it seems like he had tried it too many time too…Mao called out his name…
”Shun…Oguri Shun…”…there was no response from Shun…only the sound of his breathing can be heard…Mao squeezed his hand…she wanted Shun to feel her presence…to wake up…to forgive her for all the wrong things she had done…she closed her eyes and Jun’s smiling face covered her vision…Mao’s heart shattered into thousand pieces…there she was holding Shun’s hand, who was trying to kill himself for loving her and in her eyes, came vividly the image of Jun, the man whom she love with all of her heart who had now lost his career, in the sake of loving her too…Mao felt herself was so sinful…she tried to clear her mind, reminding it to focus on Shun…but her mind was so full of Jun…her heart, body and soul was so full of him…Jun who was smiling…Jun who was laughing…who was standing like a male God in ancient Roman’s history, teasing her, kissing her and hugging her…his smell, his sweet hair, his warm body and his eyes…
“Mao…” Shun called out…the images of Jun in Mao’s eyes went blank the moment she opened her eyes to look at Shun…Shun was looking at her…surely, this wasn’t a dream because he was squeezing Mao’s hand back…Mao tried to smile…but it was a very hard job right now…not when she was in the urge of crying loudly…for what she had earlier…but she stretched her lips into a curve of smiling, even when it is a real fake one…
“How are you???” she asked Shun…he smiled back widely…a new light shone out from his pale face…
“I am always fine when you are around…” he answered…Mao gulped…Shun tried to sit up but Mao pushed him to lie back…
“You won’t leave me again won’t you???” he asked…his expression turned like a kid wanting his mother to promise him not to leave him…Mao smiled back…this time more sincere…
“No…I won’t…I will never leave you again…” she answered…she put her other hand, the one who had her engagement ring on it, and put it on Shun’s hand…Shun looked down on it and saw, to his great surprise, there was no ring on it…he looked up at Mao…
“I thought you had engaged…with that Jun of Arashi…” he said…Mao avoided his eyes and looked down at their entwined hands…
“Not anymore…” she answered weakly…and her thought went back to her meeting with Jun before she came to meet Shun…

“Jun, I need to see you now…” she said…Mao then shut the phone…she had decided…she couldn’t destroyed the life of the people she loved…come to think of it, she was a really lucky girl…to have two men loving her…one was willing to die for her and one was willing to lose his life for her…but she only love one of them…and the one that she love wasn’t just be loved by her…he is Matsumoto Jun…a very famous idol in Japan…he is loved by his thousand of fans…his other group members, who grew up along with him…and his own life…Jun love his career…being an idol suited him so much that Mao couldn’t imagined him as an office worker or else…she wanted him to be an idol…she wanted to hear him singing, to see him acting and to read the news about him on the magazine…and for that, she needed to let go of him…let him free to walk his own path of my life…which was so different from her…and Shun…he is the man that she had once loved…by leaving him seems to be too much for a big one tough guy like Oguri Shun…he couldn’t take it…and he chose to end his life…but Mao wasn’t a God…she didn’t deserved to take someone else life from himself…and he only have Mao to love him…unlike Jun, he seems to be poorer when it come to love…so…Mao knew just what to do…
“Hehehe…life is so unfair right, Maoriku??? You don’t want to be apart with Junpei…but then God took your life away and made him live alone…and now…God seems to be jealous of our fate…he decided to tear us apart again…and this time, I need to leave Jun too…just like you did before…” Mao said to herself, madly laughing a shaky laugh when she remembered the part where Maoriku had died because of her sickness…she squeezed the ring that once belong to Maoriku…now that the ring is belong to her…sooner it will be homeless again…without an owner to put it on…Mao closed her eyes…she opened it after some minutes, collecting the strength that she had…to dial a phone number that will bring everything back to normal again…for Jun…for Arashi…
“Hello…I’m Inoue Mao…can I meet you now??? Yes…I have come to make a decision…on how to safe Jun…and I will need your help…” she said through the phone…

“Mika, why did you want to see me???” Sho asked…he had now sitting in a restaurant hotel where previously Arashi had an event with their fans…Mika had called him and told him that she wanted to meet him…the matter is so urgent…so, Sho had gone out to meet her with Aiba…looking at Aiba on his left, he saw that Aiba was looking at Mika…Mika, on the other hand, was somehow looking uneasy and worried…
“Mr Masaki??? Can you please stop staring at me??? I can’t talk when you have that expression on your face…” Mika said to Aiba, blushing madly…Aiba smiled…he nodded…Sho rolled her eyes…
“What happen???” he asked again…his temper always rising high these days…when all the thing around him turned upside down, he always found himself losing patience…
“Mao…she had been acting weird…you see, Shun was hospitalized now…” Mika said…she decided to ignore Aiba…who seems to be, for some unknown reason, keep looking at her as though she is a very beautiful thing to look at…Sho raised his eyebrow…
“I think that suit him…after all the bad things he had done to Jun and Mao…” Sho answered her…Mika nodded but then shook her head…
“No..no…he was hospitalized because he tried to kill himself…the moment he knew that he can’t be with Mao again, he decided to end up his life…” Mika explained…Sho chuckled…Aiba looked at Sho with a weird a expression…
“Boys are very poor creatures you know…” he said to Mika but still kept his eyes on Sho…somehow Sho was laughing silently…
“Why are you laughing???” Mika asked Sho in a frustrated voice…she threw Aiba a shut-up-you-hell look and Aiba smiled widely…this girl is cute, he thought dully…
“I think he is just playing around…you know…to have Mao’s attention back to him…” said Sho, matter of factly tone used in his words…Mika nodded…
“I know your theory…but Mao is a very soft-hearted girl…with Jun sudden announcement on their engagement, I think she will started to think about it more and more and ended up making a wrong conclusion…” Mika replied him…Aiba looked around the table at the moment…he was looking at someone…Mika asked…
“What are you looking at???”…and she too turned around…her eyes grew wider at the sight of what she saw…
“What now???” Sho asked in a boring tone…he looked up to the place where Mika and Aiba were looking at…he stood up…
“Mao…” the three of them said in the same time…

“I’m going to break my engagement with Jun…” Mao said to Jun’s manager…he raised an eyebrow at Mao…
”Why??? I thought you enjoyed the feeling of being Matsumoto Jun’s lover,” he said in a mocked tone…Mao threw him a dirty look…
“I don’t get to be with him because he is an idol…I do love him…for real…and because I do so…I decided to leave him…alone…you are right…I can’t hurt him…his career is the most important thing to him…so no…I won’t let him lose that part…” Mao answered firmly…at that same time, Mika, Aiba and Sho were all listening…staying behind a big vase of flowers, they heard everything that Mao and Arashi’s manager talking…Sho shook his head…
“Idiot girl!!!” he said in an angry tone…Mika smacked his head…he gave her a I-will-kill-you-later look but Mika just stuck her tongue at him…at that precise moment where Sho was about to argue back, Aiba pointed to someplace…and Mika and Sho looked up at that place…surely, this day is really a dramatic day…Jun and Ohno were walking inside the restaurant…they spotted Mao and walked to her…the minutes they saw their Mr Manager, Jun stopped walking…so do Ohno…Aiba made a move to go and meet them…but Mika pulled him back to their hiding place and made a gesture telling him to stay still and shut up…Aiba looked at Sho and he nodded…they turned their head to the waiting live drama in front of them…
“What are you doing here with him???” Jun asked…Mao smiled widely at him…she got up from her seat, walked to Jun and pulled him to sit next to her…Ohno followed and he sat next to their manager…
“It is good to see you…anyway, thanks for the engagement announcement that you made earlier…I am happy for it…” Mao said happily…but Jun continued to stare at his manager…Mr Manager kept his face blank…he needed to play around with Mao…for Jun’s sake of career…
“You are really an idiot right???” Mao asked Jun…at once, Jun and Ohno looked at Mao…she looked down at the table and chuckled…
“I have never had the impression that Matsumoto Jun will be so obedient when it come to love…when you put this ring on me, I think that you are declaring us as couple with benefits...but surely not marriage or something…” Mao said…she laughed mockingly…Jun’s eyes became smaller…he was mad with Mao…
“Couple with benefits???” he asked…
“Yeah…you know…you are an idol…and I am just some ordinary girl…I think by dating you, perhaps you could afford all the thing I want in my life…like fame and money…but seriously…you never actually thought about having fun right??? All you care for is being responsible…not long before we started dating, you decided to engage…well…” Mao answered him…but she didn’t dare to speak straight to Jun…she was afraid that her eyes will betrayed her feeling…instead of looking at Jun, she looked at his forehead…keeping her eyes blank…Ohno was red in the face now…he felt sorry for Jun but somehow he could feel that Mao was lying…Sho and Aiba and Mika all held their mouths wide open…Mika can’t believe what Mao had just said…she knew Mao was lying…of course!!! Mao love Jun more than she love herself…what was she playing at now??? Making like everything that happened was a game between her and Jun…
“So???” Jun said…his voice rising up…he seems to be angry…but his expression was the same like Mao…blank and empty…
“So…this is not fun anymore…I don’t want to take any responsibilities on you…come to think of it, your fans might want to kill me right now…hohoho…and seriously, I love myself more than I love you…sorry…but that is the truth…” Mao said…she smiled a bit…this time, she looked into Jun’s eyes…she took out the ring from her finger and put it on the table…Jun looked at her in disbelief…Ohno was looking as someone had just slammed him hard on the face…Mao smiled again…she turned to look at Jun’s manager…
“You can do the honor now by fixing this matter…I believe that you too didn’t want to lose your most important idol in your company right???” Mao said…Mr Manager smiled at her…he didn’t know whether to describe Mao as stupid or innocent…but he took the ring and looked up at Jun and Ohno…
“Well…I believe we have no more business here…can we just leave before any reporters spotted us here???” he said, looking from Jun to Ohno…Ohno got up at once…he pulled Jun to walk with him but Jun didn’t even budge even for an inch…he kept his eyes on Mao who was looking around as though she was bored with the situation…Ohno kept on pulling Jun and at last Jun pushed him away…he pulled Mao to stand up with him and said to her face…
“Are you telling me that everything that happened between us before was just a game you are playing???” he asked...not in a polite way…in fact, he was yelling his heart out…everyone in that restaurant became silent…then, whispering broke the silence…they had spotted Jun and Ohno and recognized them…Mao yanked her arm out from Jun’s grip…
“Yes…I’m sorry but yes…if I can dump my old boyfriend to be with you, why do you think I would take it serious with you??? I just want to fool around with boy…that is all…” Mao answered him…Jun tried to fight back but Ohno pulled him away…
“It’s not worth it, Jun…it’s not worth it…” he said, giving Mao a dirty look…Jun pushed Ohno away and he walked away…Ohno followed him after looking at Mao with a great dislike…their manager looked at Mao…
“Thank you…I’ll handle it from here…and…sorry for everything…” he said…bowing to Mao, he left too…Mao gulped…the tears she was trying to hold back was about any minutes can betrayed her to Jun just now…she picked up her bag and walked slowly, ignoring the fact that she was now the attention of other people in that restaurant…Mika no longer able to stand looking at Mao in that pitying state, she got out from her hiding place and pulled Mao to face her…Mao was shocked to see her there…but seeing Mika ruined up her strength at once…she cried…Mika hugged her…
“Why Mao??? Why did you have to let go of the people that you treasure the most???” Mika asked…she patted Mao at the back…
“Because I love him, Mika…I love him…and I can’t stand watching him hurting himself like that…watching him letting go of his career that he had spent so much time and energy before on it…I can’t Mika…I just can’t…” Mao said between sobbed and crying…Mika nodded…she understood Mao’s feeling…everything that happened was because Jun love her…and she love him…they were a couple that were separated by cruel reality in life…Sho walked away…Aiba followed him…
“Now what??? Mao was innocent right???” Aiba asked Sho…Sho nodded…
“And we will need to explain that to Jun…” said Sho…the two walked straight to their car…once inside it, Aiba drove to their house…
“What a couple of an idiot people!!!” said Sho, cursing under his breath…

“Let’s go outside…I think you need to stretch your legs…” said Mao, wanting to drive Jun out of her tired mind…Shun nodded happily…as Mao helped Shun got up, she said inside her heart…
“Goodbye Jun…sorry that I love you so much till all I can do is only to hurt you,”…
