“Hello?” Jae answered.
“Remember me? It’s Junki. You’re number one rival in courting Tiffany.”
“Oh~ Junki. So? Why’d you call? Tiff’s not with me.”
“I’m not here to call for Tiffany. I want to talk to you personally. I mean, during our rival times on who’s gonna win Tiffany’s heart, I’ve been doing so many harsh things on you, I’ve been doing so many foolish stuffs on you before, and I personally admit it. I kept playing idiot stuffs on you and I’m really sorry for that.”
“Oh~ am I hearing the right words? You're saying sorry?”
“Yeah~ You got it right. I wanted to apologize for the wrong doings I have done. I want us to be in good terms. So are you ok with it?”
“I’m okay with it but make sure you’re not making any foolish things on me again.” Jae said, he’s kinda hesitant. Well, who wouldn’t be? You know, an enemy of yours, not only just an enemy, but your number one enemy would like to apologize to you personally. Well, that speaks that people can change in either in a good way or a bad way.
“Yep~ I promise.”
“So where do we meet?”
“You know the coffee shop near our school. Let’s meet there.”
“Huh? But?”
“But what?” Junki asked. Jae’s kinda hesitant because the coffee shop that Junki’s talking about is expensive.
“Uhm, nothing. So what time?” Jae asked.
“Around 7 pm.” And Junki hang up.
“What’s with that guy? I mean, he’s into the verge of cursing me and yet he’s the one who wants to talk and apologize to me. Isn’t that what you call insanity? How can someone admit that they’re losers. Well, I guess he's trying to change, and for the better this time and I think there’s nothing wrong on trying and forgiveness is the key to a peaceful life.” Jae thought.
Junki is a person whom if there’s something he wants, he definitely gets. Well, that’s the motto that Junki and his set of friends undergo their narrow heads, well, who are to blame? They are a set of foolish stupid brats who only have only bird-brains used for thinking… it’s good if their using their dumb brains for something useful, but, unfortunately, those brains are going on waste. Even though they have those gorgeous faces, they suck when it comes to attitude. Even though it may come to a point that a blood can be shed, anything he really wants should be get, but, that attitude didn’t work for Tiffany. Good thing, at least she used her brain. He’s really rich and popular. That’s how can you judge Junki and his set of friends. As you see, Junki is one of the most popular kids in their school. And what can’t he really take is when he lose from Jaejoong. Nobody knows if Junki is really serious to Tiffany. Everybody thought that as long as you’re popular, you’re a perfect pair. Good thing Tiffany has a different point of view. She saw what the others didn’t see from Jae. Being simple looks best to people either it’s inside or out.
“Yo Junki! You’re the guy! I can’t believe you made him agree with your proposal. I mean, the two of you are definitely the biggest enemies in the campus because of Tiff and yet, you did your thing! You’re really the man! You won this bet!” Taecyeon said, really proud of his friend. And yeah~ that sorry thing is only a bet. Oh! There bird-brains are for a useless cause!
“I told you! I mean~ it’s so darn easy! I don’t give an ass men! He really proved that he has that bird-brain. Cheers for this! This will be really a great game. I love making fun of him.” Junki smirked.
“So where are you guys gonna meet?” Hongki asked.
“I have my brains.” Yeah~ brains like birds. I guess birds are smarter than him. “I told him to meet me at the café near our school, the expensive ones. When I told him we will meet there, I can read that he’s really hesitated to go because he doesn’t have the money to pay. My plans are going its right track.”
“Oh God! How fun is that game! I wanna come to see it.” Hongki said.
“No, it will be awkward for him if you’ll join. And besides, it will look suspicious. I’ll just update after our precious game. Hahahaha!”
Okay~ so what is running on Junki’s head? What play are they talking about?

“Okay class, for tomorrow you’ll be having your individual Science report. I already assigned the each of you who’s scientist you’re going to report. I also gave you the details about what the report should contain. So I’m expecting all of you guys to participate in this project this semester. Make sure to be ready for it because it’s 30% of your whole card grade. I’ll be expecting that all you guys are prepared for tomorrow. Don’t disappoint me, especially you Mr. Kim Jaejoong.” Ms. Han announced to the ever bored students.
Jae’s out of his head. He’s bright but lazy. It’s a waste for him. His laziness is the cause why his grades are getting low. Like what their teacher just said, he didn’t listen because he’s sleeping. And tomorrow, as expected, he can’t do a report because he’ll just sleep and never thought of working on it. Tiffany doesn’t like that attitude of Jae, but surprisingly, when it comes to exams, he’s never down to the top 5. The teachers said that he really has the potentials but he’s not just using it. Even though their principal talked to his auntie, he’s still stubborn and lazy in doing reports, homeworks and projects. Jae’s wishing that he can stop that habit of him.
Rrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnng! Oops! That sound, it’s a music to the ears of the students. It’s signaling that classes are over. Jae was awoken. Even if it’s over, students’ duties aren’t over.
“Oh God~! Report again? I mean, when there will be a time that reports didn’t exist in the world?” One of the students complained.
It seems that the students’ day are not yet over. They need to work for their bull report. (A/N: That’s how I always feel when we have reports^^ I wanna curse it. XD)
“Jae! I’m sure you didn’t listen earlier. I’ll call you for the report details. I hope you worked for it. Make Tiffany be really proud of you.” Wooyoung said, one of Jae’s classmates and close friend.
That certain line, ‘Make Tiffany be really proud of you.’ gave him the drive to do his report. All because of Tiffany, he’s got the will. Thanks to Tiffany, and especially to Wooyoung for reminding.
Jae interrupted Wooyoung who’s fixing his things on his bag. “Thanks for reminding me Tiffany, maybe I should change. Don’t forget to call me! I’ll wait for it!” Just like being said before, people change in either a good way or a bad way.
“No prob Jae! Make sure to be prepared huh?!”
“Okay! Thanks again for reminding Tiffany. Bye~”
Jae as well fixed his things and walked out of the room and went on Tiffany’s room to pick her up. Right on time, Tiffany’s on her way out too.
“Oppa~ you’re there. Where will we go later? I’m afraid I can’t go with you?” Tiffany asked.
“Why?”
“Mom told me I need to go home immediately. She needs to tell me something. I told her she can tell it through the phone, so I can come with you but she still insisted that I should go home already.”
“Is it anything serious or is it an accident?” Jae concernly asked.
“Uhm, I guess it’s nothing serious. My mom’s just paranoid. Haha:) She really has this mood sometimes and I understand that.”
“Well, it’s okay, you can go home now, since I can’t also go. Well, you see, Junki called me earlier this morning and I don’t know what he ate, but he wants us to meet. And what’s more miraculous or something suspicious is that he’s asking for forgiveness, he’s terribly sorry for what he has done to me in the past through the phone. You know me, I don’t want enemies, so I want to patch things up.”
“Oppa~ you’re so kind! In spite of what they did to you back then, you still forgive them. You’re really a nice guy. I guess that’s more important than what mom’s telling me. I can go with you.”
“Me being a nice guy is one thing that you liked about me. Joke!”
“You silly Jae!”
“Don’t go with me anymore, maybe his mind will change if he saw the both of us together.”
“I think you got the right idea, so what time will you meet and where?”
“At around 7 pm at the coffee shop near our school so I better hurry, it’s almost 7pm. Call you later! Bye.”
“Ok! Take care. Bye~”
So the both of them had their ways separated. Tiffany going home and him meeting with the brats. How foolish Jae never thought what will happen. Poor him. But what will those brats plan to do on Jae? So Jae walked out of the campus and went to the building where the café is located. He used an escalator because it’s located on the second floor. He searched for the café because it’s his first time going to that place, because it really is expensive there and he never thought of going there ever before.
Now he found the café and saw that Junki’s alone inside and waiting. He didn’t bring his friends with him. Well, that’s the plan. Jae looked at his watch and found out that he’s just right on time. He then entered. Junki saw him entered and he waved out.
“So you’re here!” Junki greeted who’s seated in one of the chairs.
“Did I keep you waiting?” Jae asked.
“No, I just arrived early.” Junki cleared. Jae seated with Junki.
“So, what came into your mind to apologize?”
“Well, before I answer, let’s order first.” Junki started. He then called the waiter. “Waiter! Over here!” Junki instructed.
“Isn’t it expensive here?” Jae humbly asked.
“Well, for me, it’s just the right prize.” Junki replied.
“Well~ that’s with you! I don’t have any money to pay for those!” Junki didn’t seem to notice what Jae said, or maybe he just ignored it totally because the waiter’s already taking his order.
“What do you like Jae?” Junki asked. Jae looked at the menu list.
“OMG~! This is just so unreasonable! Does your meat have gold engraved on it? Come on! This is just a piece of meat with some sauce and it’s caused $200. I’m not a foreigner you know!? Does water have charge?”
The waiter answered back, “It cost around $50.”
“Oh damn! I better not talk to you!” Jae was really frustrated about the menu cost lists. And Junki’s plans are working. “My plan’s already on the track.” Junki thought.
“What did you order?” Jae asked Junki.
“You wanna know?”
“Maybe not anymore.”
“My food costs around $400.”
Jae’s eyes went bigger. “OMG~! You’ll just apologize to me and you even brought me here. So damn expensive! Now you’ve ordered, tell me the purpose why your apologizing.”
“Before I tell you everything, let me be excused. I’ll just go to the comfort room.”
“Aish! Why do you have so many alibis?! Make sure you come back! I still need to go home to do my report!”
“Yeah~ I’ll be back in no time.” And Junki left. Jae waited for a couple of minutes and Junki’s not coming back. Oh, he can feel it, the plan is working. “Oh God! Why is he not coming back?! That guy! How can I pay the one he ordered?! Aish!” Then the waiter came and brought the food with him. Jae said that he didn’t order the food but the waiter still insisted that the food is for him, accompanied the food is a letter. “The guy you’re with earlier told me to give this.” The waiter left and Jae opened the message.
The message says: “You wanna know the answer? In your dreams! Hahaha :P”
“Aish! That guy! I knew it! He’ll never change! Aish! How can I pay these!? I don’t have any money!“
An hour had pass and Jae’s still not touching the food. He didn’t even dare to. How can he eat a food that’s more expensive than his clothing. He just stared at the food until it gets cold. He has two problems right now, his report and the payment. He can’t call his aunt or either Tiffany because he don’t want them to worry. It's so shameful! But what he’ll he do?
The waiter came back and asked him if he’s not going to touch it, he also came back for the payment. “Sir, the whole bill costs around $570 including the drinks.”
“Eh? How can I pay that? You know that I didn’t order anything because it’s so expensive yet you’re asking me to pay! Call the guy that I’m with before! He’s the one that’s responsible for this!” Jae stood and ready to get out. But the security guard and the other waiters stopped him.
“We’ll let you live if you pay.”
“You know I don’t have the money.” Jae even showed his wallet and his pockets.
“But you’re the one who’s here. So you’re responsible for this. If you’ll not pay, we’ll call the police.”
“Eh?! Police!” Then the argument stopped.
“I’ll pay.” The tall handsome guy handed the money. “Keep the change and stop bothering him.”
“Thank you sir.”
“And who are you?” Jae’s eyes widened but thankful to the guy who saved him.
“I’m Yunho. Well, I’ve been watching you for a couple of hours ago and…”
“And?”
“Anyways, I’m Yunho.”
“Ok Yunho, I’m Jae, nice to meet you. Thank you for paying! Thank you very much.” Jae’s ready to leave, heading already to the door.
Yunho hold onto Jae’s backpack. “That’s it?”
“Yeah~ I said thank you. I didn’t even tell you to pay for it. It’s your own free will. And I’m really thankful for that even if we don’t know each other.”
“No~ You can’t leave until you repay me.”
“Repay? Okay~ To finish everything. I need to go home now. Actually, I still need to do my project. Okay? So what do you want?”
“Come with me~” Yunho ordered. “This guy is simply adorable.” Yunho thought.
“Eh~?!” Jae was startled because he was grabbed by Yunho out of the restaurant.
So their they are, in a place where no one’s gonna notice them, or so Yunho thought. It’s a little bit crowdy but who will care? Everybody in the street are like bustling ants who's busy than ever.
“I should play around with him for a while.” Yunho thought. In the middle of anywhere, the both of them stood, inches are parting the two of them, and Yunho stepped a little bit closer.
“Yah! What do you want?” Jae shouted, kinda feeling introvert on how Yunho acted.
“I’m thinking on how you could repay me~” Yunho whispered into Jae's ear and smirked seeing him getting tense.
"Wh…wha…wha…whaa..t do you mean? Jae’s stuttered.
Yunho noticed that Jae’s cheeks are in the tint of red. “Can this guy get any cuter?” Yunho thought. "You know what I mean...don't you Jae?" Yunho whispered. Okay~ Jae’s getting tense more and more. A smirk broke Yunho's face as he saw Jae shivered in fear or may be in tense.
"I…I…I to..to..tal-..ly don’t kno…w w..hat you…’re talk..talk.ing a..bout!" Jae stuttered an answer once again. Then he unintentionally licked his lips, making it wet. Well, it’s unnoticeable for Jae to think in times like this, he doesn’t know what could happen next...or maybe he knew it already but in terms of own denial.
Without uttering a word from him, Yunho bent down and kissed Jae's amazingly soft sweet lips.
His eyes widen and his whole body froze, as Yunho expected. He could tell this was Jae's first kiss-from a guy.
Yunho took a step back and smirked, “Looking forward in seeing you again!”
Jae who’s still froze went into his senses, “I was just kissed by a guy! Oh God!”
With what happened, do you think the fortune teller is correct of what she has said to Jae? Would Jae really thank his enemies and be in love with a guy?
