“Oh yeah~ what’s good with the morning? This is gonna be another boring day. Dang! I hate History! Why was this born?!” Jae irritatingly pouted to himself.
The whole class tried to lend their ears to their teacher sinking every word the teacher is talking about, but not Jae. He’s busy with his own world doing his own thing, doodling.
“I always waste a lot of leaves in my notebook when it comes to this history class. It’s nice to think if my notebook is full of notes, but unfortunately, it isn’t.” Jae thought. That’s his usual routine during his History class. He can waste like up to five pages and counting on one seating doing only doodling. He’s just that bored.
On a side note, Jae didn’t notice Yunho’s stolen glances looking back at him. They’re both seated on the far end of the room, Jae sitting on the right, while him on the left. He kept on checking what Jae is doing. Before the class, Yunho noticed the pouty look on Jae’s face, that’s why he’s kinda worried. He then noticed that Jae keeps on doodling and didn’t even bother to listen. He then thought of an idea.
In the middle of his doodling momentum, Jae felt that his phone beeped.
“Bored?^^” Yunho texted Jae making sure that the teacher didn’t see or either notice him.
Jae stopped for a while and replied back as fast as possible not letting the teacher notice them. “Yah~! We are not supposed to use phones during classes! What if we get caught?”
“Of course, we won’t let that happen, so don’t let the teacher notice you.” Yunho fooled around.
“Why the hell did you text me?” Jae asked.
“To bother you.” Yunho jokingly replied.
“:|” is the only thing that Jae just replied.
“I’m sorry, but anyways, don’t forget about later! Okay?”
“What’s with later?” Jae curiously asked.
“Try to remember.”
Jae thought for a sec. “Oh yeah~ I swear I won’t forget.” Jae simply smiled and replied back. Yunho noticed it feeling a sign of happiness and relief.
“Thank God you smiled!” Yunho replied.
“Huh?”
“You look so down the whole time when Mrs. Park entered. I swear you are ever bored that the only thing you kept on doing is to doodle. So I tried to text you and I know you know what I mean… ^^”
“Oh I see. Well, thanks for that.” Jae replied and again smiled. That was priceless for Yunho.
“Kim Jaejoong! I told you not to use cellphones during our class! Give me that and I’m gonna confiscate it!” Mrs. Park scolded.
“Uh-oh..” Jae just bit his lower lip and handed the phone. He couldn’t do anything but to give it. He then looked at Yunho.
“I’m sorry!” Yunho mouthed. Jae just smiled saying it’s okay. Yunho immediately stood up and caught everyone by surprise. "Ma'am, I'm the one who also caused this. Please don't only blame Jae. Here, get also my phone."
Along the corridor, Tiffany passed their room and saw the both of them standing being scolded by the teacher.
“What could have happened?” Tiffany thought. “I better talk to them later…”
Again, the best time of the day for all the students came, the most awaited and anticipated time, dismissal.
“Oh darn I don’t have my phone.” Jae pouted to himself.
“I’m sorry, I told you not to let the teacher notice you.”
“Oh! You scared me! Since when are you here? Okay! I know it! It’s my fault!” Jae answered back and sticked his tongue out.
“Stop the argument and let’s go out now!” Yunho urged.
“Yeah~ whatever.” Jae simply replied. "Uhm Yunho, thanks for what you did earlier. Abruptly to say but I was touched."
"That? Well, it's my duty." Yunho murmured to himself.
"Huh? What did you say?"
"I said it's alright! Just a simple thank you will do."
"Okay! Thank you! Well because you're so kind to me I'll treat you!"
They both went out and headed to the school gates. They didn’t notice that Tiffany saw the both of them. “Since when did they become close again? When did they start talking again?” Tiffany intriguingly thought. She tried to follow them but was taken aback remembering the things she has to do urgently.
While walking, Yunho started the conversation. “Remember the day when you first saw me?” He smirked.
“Oh yeah~ that’s a funny scene.” Jae giggled.
“You looked so nervous and shock and speechless when you saw me. I won’t forget that. That’s priceless.”
“You know what’s more funny? The day before we met, I saw you in my dreams. I don’t know if I’d call it silly or something.”
“Oh really?” Yunho’s jaw dropped showing a sign of amazement and astonishment. He just can’t believe it.
“Yeah~ really. And believe me, it’s so weird.”
“Tell me! What happened?”
“Well, to sum it all, oh this is way too weird! But anyways, on that dream, you were my hero and because of saving me, you asked for a reward.”
“Reward?”
“Yeah~ reward.” Jae repeated and nodded.
“Then what is it?”
“In the middle of the busy streets of Seoul, we stood in the middle of nowhere and there you asked me to kiss you. Way too creepy and unbelievable isn’t it?” Jae shrugged.
“Woah~ That’s why you acted so weird when we first met… Can't that just be great?”
“What’s great about that?”
“Well, maybe it will be better if it'll happen in reality. What 'chu think? That would be a great treat!” And Yunho just smirked.
“Oh, I guess you're just hungry, no! I mean, we’re both hungry that’s why you kept on thinking that way. Why don’t we eat first? I guess that ahjumma sells good dumplings! Come and let’s try it. I'll treat you!” Jae pointed out.
“Okay!” Yunho just replied and nodded. The thought of Jae and him kissed on a dream could just be the best nightmare he could have in his life. And due to wild imaginations, Jae just caught his hand bringing him to the dumpling woman.
