“WHAT?” Hankyung said, eyes widening. He thought that Siwon was very selfish and everything, but now he added ‘crazy’ on the list.
“Live with me. I’m sure you’ll agree that I’m not exactly someone who can be a good dad in time.”
“I…err.” He wanted to say that he agrees, but he was shocked for words that Siwon was serious. This was really something.
“You can move in tomorrow.” Those were the last words Siwon said before going inside his apartment.
“Wha-WAIT!” Hankyung called for him but it was too late.
…
“OH MY GOD.” Ryeowook said. Yuri said “WHAT?!” Eunhyuk started singing one of Son Dam Bi’s songs, and Shindong choked on his soda.
“Michoso…Hankyung Michoso…” Eunhyuk sang, with matching dance.
“ARE YOU EFFING OUT OF YOUR MIND?!” Yuri said. Everybody in the staffroom looked at her. “We only told you to give the baby, not YOU!”
“OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD.” Ryeowook said again repeatedly, almost hysterically.
Hankyung had just told them what happened to his latest visit to Siwon’s, in which he asked him to stay with him. Hankyung didn’t say yes nor no, but he was preparing himself for moving in. All his stuff were already packed at home.
“Hankyung. What do you think you’re doing? You’re moving in with a complete stranger for effing Pete’s sakes!” Shindong said. “You don’t know him, the only thing we know is that he’s a stuck up brat from some rich family, then you’re going to live with him?”
“But..He was right, he already said it himself, he can’t take care of Eunmi, so how could he raise her? I’ll just teach him how to handle the baby..Then I’ll move out.” Hankyung said. Convincing himself that he was doing the right thing was hard enough, but convincing his friends was harder.
“Oohh…I want to see what’ll happen. Hankyung-umma takes care of baby Eunmi while Siwon-appa’s at work, then Hankyung-umma takes off his coat, kisses his cheek…Awww.” Eunhyuk said.
“YAH! Eunhyuk, it’s not like that!” Hankyung said.
“Oh really? I wonder what daddy Siwon’s reaction will be when he tastes mommy Hankyung’s famous fried rice.” Eunhyuk continued teasing. Hankyung just sighed in defeat as the bell rang.
….
“Knock knock.”
Siwon got up to open his door. It revealed Hankyung, carrying Eunmi, who was looking around innocently, with two baby bags and one black bag behind him. Hankyung bowed to Siwon.
“Good evening Siwon shi.”
“Whoa. Where did the rudeness go?” Siwon said coldly.
“….”
“Come in.” Siwon said irritably.
Hankyung sat on the sofa, then started feeding Eunmi milk.
“I-ermm. I’m sorry for the stuff I said yesterday and last time…I didn’t mean it…” Hankyung said with a low bow to Siwon.
“You didn’t mean it? Really? I had the impression that everyone thought of me as an asshole.” Siwon said as he got himself a glass of water. He was by all means not gonna be nice to Hankyung, at least for this night, because the Chinese man interrupted a steamy make out session with a girl named Yoobin the other night.
“….”
“So tell me something about yourself, Hankyung.” Siwon said.
“Uhm..I’m Hankyung, I’m Chinese, my Chinese name is Han Geng.”
“And you work as?”
“I’m a highschool P.E. teacher.”
“I see…I have the impression that you already know some stuff about me?”
“Erm..yeah, uhh I mean, I wanted to know what my baby’s father is like.”
“My baby?”
“Oh, uhh sorry..Your baby.” Hankyung said sadly. Siwon noticed the genuine sadness in his voice while saying that.
“Anyway, what do you know about me?”
“You’re Choi Siwon. Heir to Choi Co. Top model….”
“Oooh…I see. Apparently you’re a big fan of me.” Siwon said with a taunting smile.
“Wha-No! Uhmm..My friend is, he’s a big fan of you, I mean…he likes you…” Hankyung said embarrassedly.
“Now I didn’t know that I’m also popular with the guys…” That statement irritated Hankyung. He really is a stuck up brat, he thought.
“So, uhh, Siwon shi, won’t you give me any rules for staying here?”
“No, it’s simple, just stay out of each other’s private lives, you’re only here for the baby. And if you need any money for her milk or stuff, just tell me.” Siwon said.
“Oh-uhh, okay. Uhm where will I be sleeping at?” Hankyung said.
“Oh, you’re in that room” Siwon pointed to a door beside another one “That one’s beside mine. Bathroom’s across the hallway.”
