Grumbling loudly, Bernice opened her eyes as she felt the morning rays hit her eyelids. Rubbing her eyes, she sat up. To her right, Tavia was sleeping soundly while on her left was Ella. She was in the midst of waking up. Tiredly, Ella got up and stretched her aching body.
“It’s already morning.” Ella replied, breathing in the fresh air. She peeked over to the other side where Raymond and Kenneth was sharing a mattress. Bernice followed her gaze. A small smile formed on the two girls lip as they saw the position Raymond and Kenneth was in. Raymond was, undoubtedly, very uncomfortable for Kenneth had his legs and arms wrapped around the poor guy. However, Raymond does not know because he was still asleep. “Maybe we should help Raymond!” Ella laughed, shaking her head.
Bernice agreed. “Definitely.” An evil smirk appeared on her flawless face. She motioned for Ella to come over. “Come on.” Bernice stared at Kenneth as she signaled for Ella to grab his legs while she would take his arms. Ella nodded her head and giggled.
On the count of three, the two grabbed onto his limbs and pulled him up, running toward the shore. Kenneth’s eyes instantly opened as he screamed out loud, waking both Raymond and Tavia up from their slumber.
“What’s going on?” Tavia yawned, still not fully awake. Raymond blinked his eyes several time; the scene had not fully registered in his mind.
“WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING? PUT ME DOWN!” Kenneth screamed but Ella and Bernice refused to comply to his demand.
“THROW HIM IN!” Bernice and Ella laughed out loud as they threw Kenneth into the freezing water.
The cold water got to him and Kenneth quickly jumped out, shivering to death. He did not forget to glare at the two mastermind behind this prank. He couldn’t believe Ella would take part in this.
Satisfied with their work, they high-fived each other and shouted, “Yeah!”

Linda, Ron, Bosco and Leila, who was seated around the dining table, looked up when they heard screaming and shouting that was coming from outside. Immediately, they all knew that Team B was back. Bernice and Kenneth’s voice had gave it all away.
Linda and Ron hurriedly to the front and opened the door. Before it was fully opened, Ella and Bernice barged in, carrying with them a mattress. Raymond and Kenneth had the other while Tavia was holding onto a bunch of junk.
“Hey, you’re back!” Linda exclaimed happily, which was pretty much directed to Raymond only. He slightly smiled back. Leila and Bosco set down their meal and came over to help.
“I’m going to take a shower!” Bernice exclaimed, dashing upstairs with Raymond in front of her.
“Same!” cried Ella.
“I NEED A BUBBLE BATH! A HOT ONE TOO!” Kenneth growled.
“I need to wash up..” Tavia acknowledged with a frown.

“Did anything fun happen yesterday?” Bernice asked mischievously, looking at the eight before her. Apparently, they were having a small group talk about any ‘amusing’ events that took place yesterday. Bernice coughed loudly and turned her head to Tavia whom was fidgeting in her seat; a sinister smile was pasted on.
“Does this count?” Leila asked, holding up her index finger.
“Ouch, what happened?” Ella asked, examining her wound.
Leila shook her head. “It’s nothing.”
“Yes. Don’t ever let girls drink. Especially these three.” Ron declared, pointing to Leila, Linda and Bernice.
“Did I say something or do something...?” Linda pondered nervously. She had no idea how drunk she was and what she had done or say. Hopefully, Linda had not said anything embarrassing.
“Well..” Ron started, secretly giving Raymond a stare. “You did mention about someone..you thought I was..him AND you puked all over Bosco.”
“That’s true!” Bosco furiously nodded his head. “I can show you the shirt if you want proof.”
“Sorry! I don’t mean to..” Linda frowned, looking helplessly at Bosco. He waved it off.
“Ahh..it’s okay. You’ll just have to wash it and you’ll have to stay away from me next time you’re drunk.” he chuckled, receiving a slap from Leila.
“Why? Did anything happened to you guys?” Leila wondered, turning her attention back to Bernice.
“Of course! IT’S BIG NEWS!” Bernice exclaimed with excitement. She could not suppress herself from jumping up and down.
“Bernice...” Ella breathed, she had a small idea of what Bernice was thinking about. Meanwhile, Kenneth was glaring at her, afraid that she was going to expose their accidental kiss. He was waiting impatiently for her to continue while crossing his fingers that she would keep her lips sealed. Even Raymond seemed to be worrying.
“Th–“ Bernice was about to say that Raymond and Tavia had gotten together, but Kenneth had intervened. He had blurted out what was meant to be forgotten.
“YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TELL THEM WE KISSED!”
Everyone’s jaws dropped, they stared at the Bernice and Kenneth in shocked.
“You what?” Ron asked again.
Bosco thought there was something wrong with his ears. “You guys...kissed?”
Leila was in disbelief. “No way..”
Linda covered her mouth. “Are you serious?”
Raymond shook his head at Kenneth’s outburst. Ella gently slapped her forehead. Tavia heaved a sigh of relief. She was glad her secret was not exposed. Bernice was fuming with anger. She stood up tall, Kenneth did the same.
“WHY DID YOU TELL THEM THAT?” she demanded for an answer. Boy was she humiliated.
“You were planning to tell them anyway!” Kenneth rebutted.
“No I wasn’t!”
“Then what were you going to say?!”
“I WAS GOING TO THEM THAT RAYMOND AND TAVIA GOT TOGETHER!” Bernice fumed. At her declaration, the whole room gasped again, although, it mostly came from Team A. Tavia started to panic again as she cast Ron a glance. He was beyond surprised; he was speechless.
“You mean..Raymond and Tavia...Kenneth and Bernice?” questioned Bosco as he exchanged looks with Leila; she was equally shocked.
“Raymond and Tavia?” Linda was trying hard to digest the newly given information. She took a peek at Raymond. Why was he acting so calm? Why wasn’t he saying anything? Why wasn’t he defending himself? Is what Bernice said the truth? A whole bunch of unanswered questions ran through her head; Linda did not know where to find the answers to them all.
“I guess...everyone knows the truth now?” Ella shrugged, smiling weakly.
“This is all your fault!” Bernice shouted, her voice was shaking as she stomped out the front door. Kenneth had nothing to say because it really was his fault. He should’ve kept his mouth shut and let Bernice finish her sentence before continuing. Now everyone knew about their kiss. How embarrassing was that?
Suddenly, Ron got up from the sofa, screaming. “TAVIA! YOU! RAYMOND! HIM! WHAT?! WHY?! WHEN? HUH?!”
“Ron..calm down!” Ella commanded.
“TAV! COME WITH ME!” Ron cried as he pulled Tavia up and dragged her back to her room. He slammed the door and forced Tavia to sit on the bed.
“Ron..” she muttered, confused with his actions.
“Tavia, is what Bernice say...the truth?” Ron questioned carefully, staring intensely into her eyes. Hesitating, Tavia did not know how to answer. Were they together? Raymond had never said anything about them officially being together.
“I–I don’t know.”
“What do you mean you don’t know?” he asked, getting very irritated.
Tavia looked down and blushed. “We..umm..we kiss?”
“YOU WHAT?!” Ron yelped out loud, his eyes were bulging out of its socket.
She looked at him, didn’t understand why he was over-reacting. Was he objecting her and Raymond? “You..don’t like him?” Tavia gazed back into Ron’s eyes, her eyes were full of hope. She prayed to herself that Ron would not object and Ron could tell what she was thinking. Sighing, he sat down beside her.
“It’s not that I don’t like him.” he paused. “But Tavy...I–I don’t want you to get hurt.” Tavia did not say a word, waiting for Ron to continue. “I don’t know. You’re very important to me.” He ruffled her hair. “I don’t want anything bad to happen to you, do you understand?” Tavia nodded her head.
“I like him, Ron.” she confessed, smiling like an idiot in front of Ron.
Ron smiled weakly at her. “You must really like him huh? To make you look so stupid right now, he has some skills.” he joked and then frowned. The event with Linda yesterday popped up. He was sure the girl also had feelings for Raymond. “But..”
“But what?” she asked with interest and curiosity.
He wondered if he should tell her. “Well..I think..I think..that Linda and Raymond has something together.”
Tavia frowned. “W-what do you mean?” Ron stared hard at Tavia as she gulped down her saliva.
“Then..wh-why would he...” she trailed off.
“That...I don’t know.” Ron muttered, patting Tavia’s shoulder lightly as he made a mental note to himself to talk to Raymond later on.
