The guys had led them to a club. The place was already crowded and Miyeon felt like she would suffocate. She had never been to a place like this before. Sure she had gone dancing and such, but it was never like this. Miyeon looked around nervously at the place. She didn’t like it one bit. Heewon on the other hand lived this kind of scene. She loved the limited air and the music pumping in her ears. She smiled from ear-to-ear. This night was turning out to be great; she got to dancing and she is hanging out with three hot guys. One of the guys pulled Heewon onto the dance floor and she immediately got into the flow leaving Miyeon completely alone with strangers.

Miyeon looked around trying to find somewhere to sit. Skating made her legs go a bit sore. She finally spotted a vacant seat at the bar and sat down, relieving her legs. As soon as she sat down, the guy who came up to them, whose name was Jun, sat down beside her. She grinned at him and then he put his arm around her. Miyeon stiffened at his touch. What was he doing, she panicked in her head. She looked at him and he gave her a slick smile. Miyeon feeling a bit unsecure tried to look for a quick exit and Heewon.

“Where is Heewon?” she asked her herself nervously. Jun placed a finger at the side off Miyeon’s cheek and made her face him. Miyeon felt more uncomfortable now and tensed up.

“Can I talk to you outside for a moment? It’s kind of stuffy in here,” Jun suggested. Miyeon didn’t really want to go with him. But Jun was already out of his seat and pulling Miyeon along through the crowd. Miyeon tried to loosen herself from his tight grip, but it was no use.

Once outside, Miyeon felt the cold wind of winter. Although she was dressed warmly, she still felt pretty cold. Miyeon rubbed her shoulders and leaned against the brick wall waiting for Jun to say something. He was looking at her oddly and then suddenly he cornered her. One hand was blocking her from getting away and the other hand was by his side. He towered over her and Miyeon suddenly felt smaller and vulnerable. She tried to lean away from him but there was nowhere to go.

Jun leaned a few inches away from her face and opened his mouth. His breath stank of alcohol. Miyeon tried holding her breath since she hated the smell the alcohol. Jun put one finger on Miyeon’s cheek and caressed it. “We should get out of here; the two of us. I know this good place down the road,” he said with a greasy smile.

Miyeon’s heart started to beat rapidly. She gulped and finally took a breath trying to calm herself. She looked away from his fierce eyes and tried to think of something that could help. Out of the blue, she tried to kick that area, but he caught her foot just before it landed. Miyeon tried to tug away, but he just pulled her closer with her leg.

“You can’t hurt me babe. It isn’t right. Just follow me, alright? I can tell you are still pure, I will go easy on you. Alright babe?” he said putting her leg down and taking hold of one of her hands. He started to walk away from the club while Miyeon tugged and tugged.

His grip tightened every time she tugged and then she did what any desperate girl would do in this situation, scream. Miyeon let out the loudest and most high pitch scream ever. Jun let go of her hand and covered his ears. Miyeon took the opportunity to escape. She fled towards the opposite direction and went through ways to get away from the place immediately. I have to get away! I have to get away, she thought repeatedly in her head. She ran inside the club so that she could hide herself in the crowd for a little longer.

Standing in the most crowded corner of the club, she put her hand to her forehead and tried to think of solutions. She looked around and saw Heewon in the crowd. Heewon was having a great time with the other two guys. She was dancing like she never danced before and she didn’t even notice that Miyeon was in a desperate need for help. Miyeon hit the wall lightly. Today wasn’t turning out to be good. She just got over her cold too. I shouldn’t have said yes to hanging out with them, Miyeon groaned in her head.

Miyeon then looked around and there was no sign of Jun. “I think it should be safe to catch a taxi home now,” she sighed. Miyeon made her way through the crowd and looked back at Heewon before stepping out the door. She puffed up her cheeks and then remembered she had her cell phone. “I should have called someone. Why are you such a babo Miyeon? I guess I should text Heewon that I’m leaving,” Miyeon took out her cell and flipped it open. The screen was blank. Miyeon groaned; it was out of battery. I’ll just text her when I’m at home or ask the taxi driver for his phone and leave a voicemail, she decided. Miyeon stepped out the door and instantly felt the wind again. She rubbed her arms and looked down the streets for an available taxi.

“Are you cold?” Jun asked behind her.

Miyeon’s eyes widened at the sound of his voice. Just as she was about to scream again, he covered her mouth with his hand and held her against him. “If you think you can get away from me twice, think again babe,” he said chuckling. Miyeon felt like crying.

I’m going to get raped and then die, I just know it, Miyeon screamed in her head. She felt him caressing her and she tried struggling. “I’ll take care of you, don’t worry Miyeon. I’ll treat you very nicely babe,” he said aloud slurring his words a bit. It seems like he drank some more alcohol when he was looking for her. Jun found a taxi and waved it over. Jun tried to push Miyeon in. Miyeon was trying her best to not put one foot in that taxi. She knew that if she did, everything would be over.

All of a sudden, she felt herself being pulled away from Jun and felt like she was pushed onto the sidewalk. She fell on the sidewalk and felt the snow beneath her. “That hurt,” she groaned. Then she looked up to see what pulled her away from that monster. When she looked up, a fight was going on.

Jun was fighting three other guys and he was getting beat badly. Miyeon watched and couldn’t take her eyes off it. These people had just saved her from being raped. It was difficult to see the three faces because it was already dark out and the club lights didn’t help at all. A small circle had already formed around the scene which made it even harder for light to come through. Miyeon was curious as to who these people were.

One of the guys was fighting harsher than the other two. His punches were landing more rough and even through this horrible light, Miyeon could tell that he was clenching his teeth. Suddenly that fighter hit Jun straight in the jaw and Jun fell over onto the ground. The two other fighters stood on either side of Jun panting, while the main fighter towered over Jun and said something that was hardly audible. “If you ever touch Miyeon like that again, I will make sure that those hands will never be able to touch anyone ever again, got it?” He said angry. The voice was familiar but Miyeon missed that fact.

Miyeon felt relief that the nightmare was sort of over. Then she realized, how did he know my name?

The three fighters left Jun and came over to Miyeon. It was still hard to see their faces though. Darn lighting, Miyeon cursed in her head. One of the fighters helped Miyeon to stand up and Miyeon brushed off the snow on her butt. She smiled at them and bowed. “Thank you for—” Miyeon started and then the main fighter cut her off by pulling her into an embrace.

“Miyeon,” he whispered while hugging her tightly.
