Finally able to speak after a long cry.
¡§I thought...I thought he started to like me...I was overwhelmed...But...but he...¡¨She stopped a while catching her breath. ¡§Doesn't he care how others feel?Why does he have to give me false hope?¡¨She wrapped her arms around Bosco and cried on him.
He patted her lightly on the back.It was partly his fault she heard their conversation since he was the one who brought the subject up.
¡§I'm sorry.¡¨Half not knowing what he was sorry for. ¡§Calm down,Nancy.¡¨
After a while,she settled down.
¡§Are you sure you are alright? I mean,I know how it feels when the person you love love¡¦s somebody else.Are you sure you can cope with seeing them everyday?¡¨ Bosco asked just to make sure.
¡§I'm fine now.I just need time to digest what I heard.¡¨ She whipped her tears with the handkerchief Bosco passed her.
¡§I can't keep him to me if he has already got somebody in his heart.There's just no room left for other.I understand him.¡¨
¡§If you say so.¡¨ Bosco said giving Nancy a hand to get up.

Michelle looked at the pattern of tealeaves at the bottom of the cup.
Slowly,The scene when she first met him played itself in her mind.
Flashback*
Sammuel was spying on Raymond when he walked down into the chamber.
He was about to follow when Michelle tapped him on the shoulder.Quickly he turned and layed his sword on her shoulder.
As soon as her eyes met his,she was stunned.
They were the same pair of eyes...Same feeling...Same face.
End of Flashback*
¡§He looked exactly like Chris at that moment.¡¨ Michelle muttered.
Flashback*
¡§Hey!Don' run so fast!We can't catch up!¡¨The young Michelle shouted,holding little Leila in one hand.
The boy not so far in front stopped and turned around.He skipped his way back to the two girls.
¡§You two are so slow.If you don't hurry up,we won't be able to sneak in again without everyone to notice.¡¨The boy said with enthusiasm.
¡§We...we need a rest.¡¨Said the panting Leila.
¡§But we can't rest now.Sis,pick up Princess Leila.We have to get back before anyone realizes that we left.¡¨The boy told Michelle.
¡§Chris,Have you gone crazy?How am I supposed to pick her up?I'm not that strong!¡¨Michelle complained.
¡§I can't pick her up either,I am not supposed to even be touching her.¡¨said Chris.
Suddenly,Tramping noises were getting louder.The dust started rising.In a halt,A boy and a group of soldiers mounted off the saddles.
The boy walked up to them.
¡§You three are in a lot of trouble.¡¨The he added in a whisper. ¡§Especially when you didn't ask me to come with you.I had to learn all the country names all day!¡¨
The boy complained.
Leila grabbed onto her dearest brother's hand.
¡§I made them come with me. It's not their fault.¡¨
¡§You don't have to say that to me.Tell fu wong that.But I doupt he would listen.¡¨
End of flashback.*
Michelle smiled as she recalled her childhood memories.
She longed for the days when she,Chris,Leila and Raymond sneaked out of the palace.
Chris died when an attempted assassination on Leila failed.He was killed during a fight in the crowded town,Which was one of the reasons why the king wouldn't let Leila out of the palace.
The king made sure the tragedy wouldn't happen twice.
That was where he was wrong.
