The king left the youngsters to themselves, whilst he returned to his room to try out the herbal tea his son had brought back from the far north.
Sammuel in particular was very curious about the newly introduced prince. Questions flooded out of his mouth one after another. For some reasons, he felt more to the prince than what he showed.
The second prince, Bowie Lam, spoke softly, but coldly too. His eyes rarely left sight of Raymond and Leila. Leila on the other hand seemed glad to see him. He left two years ago to take care of the rebelling countries in the north. They hadn't been in contact since Leila said good bye at his departure.
After meeting the other princes and princesses, Ron and his companions realized that Leila was definitely worded as the only gullible and naive descendant of the king's. Bowie was the oldest descendant after the death of the first prince. He had been taken by a disease that took also the third and fourth prince.
During their talk, Ron understood Leila more than he did before and loved her more than he did before.
Raymond on the other hand left their talk in the middle to get ready for his big night. Nothing could hide his happiness on his face. They laughed at him when he blushed slightly before he left. He ignored them and focused on the night ahead of him.

It was the night of the wedding when the king first showed the sign of his unhealthiness. When the couple was offering their teas to their father, the king seemed tired and unfocused. His eyes were dazed and blurry. He tried his best to look as if he was his usual self, but his daughter who was stood beside him could clearly see the off-colour on her fathers face.
When he held the second cup of tea, his hands trembled slightly. Seeing him shaking up to his shoulders, Leila landed a hand on his shoulder to soothe him. The king turned and smiled at his daughter after drinking the cup empty from its continents.
That night, the king was supported by his daughter and most trusted general, Nicholas Tse, back to his bedroom. Leila rested her father down on his bed and received a cup of tea from the general. She carefully fed it to her father.
When she was sure he was comfortable to speak, she asked “F"Father, you have been looking off-colour tonight. What is unsettling you? Shall I call for the doctors?"
The king shook his head. "I'm just a little tired. There's no need to make a fuss over it. This is not the time I want my royal centre position. If anything happens to me before I have word on my successor, war will break out. Do you know what I mean?" The king asked the two.
Nicholas, the first in command knight, answered and Leila just nodded. The two left him to his rest and rejoined their partying friends.

The noise died down as he closed the door and entered the red room. Dressed in red and covered her face with a red clothe, Tavia sat on the bed waiting for him. After one and another tradition, they were left alone in the dim lighted room.
Raymond walked up to the girl of his dreams, and slowly lifted the clothe to reveal her face.
Her face was lightly touched with Make-up that reflected her twinkling eyes. The red on her lips were natural, as to her beauty. Raymond admired the scenic image in front of him as if it was only possible in heaven. He had never seen anyone or anything more gorgeous and unremarkable as her.
His heart stopped pumping when Tavia looked into his eyes. It was as if there were only them in the world. Nothing else mattered to them anymore, nothing but each other. They didn't need words to communicate; everything was said in their eyes.
Raymond leaned in and kissed first gently, then passionately. She slid into his grasps and they dedicated themselves to each other.

That night, Joe had another unexpected meeting with his puppet, the prince. He had come jumping off the rooftops when he returned home.
"Since you have changed the plan slightly, so have I. I promise you the throne passing ceremonies will take place in less than a week." He said.
"And can you promise me that the throne will be passed to YOU? And not your other worthy sibling?"Joe asked.
"Of course I am. Otherwise I wouldn't risk it would I? Even if he does turn out to doing something I didn't plan. I can still make him do what I want." The prince said sternly.
Within seconds he was gone, leaving Joe laughing his head off at his stupidity. Even if he does become the heir, he would be taking it off him in a matter of time.
