After a while, Tavia was turning the corner to her chamber. Seeing that it was dim with darkness, she thought nobody was inside. She was proved wrong immediately as the door flung open and Raymond stepped out to face her.
Raymond's anxiousness had been lit as soon as he discovered the empty room and a short letter which contained only of the information that she had gone to help around instead of sitting around.
Seeing her safely back in front of him, Raymond embraced her into his arms.
"Never are you going to that again. Do you know how worried I was? A letter and nothing else. You didn't even bring someone with you! You could have gotten hurt or worse." Raymond said. Though he spoke with anger, he was happy from the inside out to see her again.
"You are over reacting. I was with Leila and Ron. Nothing could have happened to me." Tavia said, facing him as he loosened his embrace.
Tavia thought this would lighten his worries, but was wrong once again. "What!? You went to the treaty talk? You're a queen!" Raymond's eyes were wide with shock.
"Relax. As long as I'm safe and sound in front of you now, does it really matter where I went? Besides, I just wanted to help you." Tavia said looking away from his eyes.
Calming down, Raymond realised she was right. If Tavia had as much pressure and decisions on her and he couldn't help, he knew he wouldn't be sitting around either.
"I'm sorry if I lost my temper. I was just so worried. You're right, as long as you are back now." Raymond said apologetically
Tavia looked up in to Raymond's eyes. "Really? You are not angry with me anymore?"
Raymond smiled and pulled her into a deep but gentle kiss. Raymond pulled her off and looked softly in to her eyes.
"I guess I never was angry." Raymond said before pulling her in for another soft kiss.

It took no time for the group to arrive at the great hall where everyone waited. They walked in, leaded by Leila, who dashed up to the top into Raymond’s arms the moment she saw him. Tavia, standing beside him smiled at Leila's childish behaviour and thought of how persuasive she was at the treaty talk. She realised that she could be serious if she wanted to, but being naïve seemed to make her a lot happier.
"You can't stop me from doing anything serious anymore. Not when I have just did such a great thing" Leila told Raymond.
"No, of course not. But it would not hurt to try." Raymond smiled as the others laughed at his words.
Raymond's attention was drawn towards the two great martial arts masters of the country. He rushed from his place to stand in front of Bobby and gave a polite bow.
"Si Fu, you are finally back. Where have you been?" Raymond asked eagerly.
Bobby laughed and shook his head. "You are just like Leila. I guess it's not hard to tell you are from the same mother." Then in a more crucial tone, he said. "It was a long story, but cut short, it is like this. Your father asked me to visit Su sing, the emperor of the Mongolians."
By now almost everyone had on a confused look. Bobby explained.
"They used to be friends, your father and him. Your father thought there must've been something life staking for him to turn on him. He asked me to go to search for the reason behind all this. I went and found out that they were under a threat from Joe Ma and your dear eldest brother." With no need to go since the look of each person's face told him that they understood, he went on to a different subject. "Anyway, we talked and he asked me to go and tell his son to stop the war. And yeah, that's almost it."
Tavia's face suddenly lit with understanding. She walked swiftly down the alter towards the lot.
"My dear, since it is your birthday tonight, I guess we have a dinner to set up." She said.

Bowie and Joe were sitting quietly waiting for the news to arrive. They had sent the new plans to the Mongolian prince and were waiting for his reply. A soldier stepped into the room and kneeled.
"The Prince has received the letter and said that he is ready for tonight's plans."
After reporting this, Bowie told the soldier to leave as he turned to his uncle.
"Your evilness must be growing on me uncle. Or else I wouldn't have thought to bring down my own brother on his birthday." Bowie smirked.
"You are over praising me, nephew. As soon as he realises what is happening at his little dinner party, I promise you of the succession of our plan.?" Joe assured him. "As long as the prince gets the signal at the dinner, he will bring his army in through the route we have planned and the throne is ours."
Both smiling, they picked up a cup of beer each and cheered each other
"For the throne." They said with unision.

It has been a few hours after their little talk. Now they were all sat around a long table in the great hall with Raymond and Tavia sat at the top of the table as the main hosts. Ron, Bosco and Sammuel kept their eyes on the two rebelling royalties sat a few seats beside them.
They have been sitting for a while now; Bowie started getting tired of waiting for something he does not know what
"Who or What are we waiting for? I thought we were here for dinner. Where is the food?" Bowie asked before Joe, who sat next to him, could protest.
Raymond stopped the conversation with his dear wife and turned to his brother. "Of course we are here for dinner. But there is still one very important guest on his way."
For the first time, both Bowie and Joe realised there was an empty space beside Leila and the king. They both frowned at this: a guest that was more important than the king's uncle, brother and sister was going to sit beside the king himself.
Joe thought it was suspicious. "May I ask who this special guest is?"
Raymond laughed at this. "You will see."
Before Joe or Bowie could say another word, an eunuch announced the arrival of the special guest.
"Welcome the Mongolian prince, Alec Su."
Hearing the name brought whiteness to Bowie's face. Joe realising that there was something wrong, he flinched but didn't make one sound.
The king greeted the prince with joy and ushered him to sit in between him and Leila.
"Sorry for the late arrival, but I had some business to take care of before coming. Your majesty." Alec said friendly.
"You are too polite. I hear you and my sister are friends already. What a surprise." Raymond said, taking note of the blank expression on his brother's face.
"I make friends easily, not like you, so it's not that surprising." Leila protested.
They laughed at this and Leila's smile spread. Bowie, seeing all this, felt uncomfortable.
"I am very sorry me dear brother. But I do not feel very well and I wonder if I could be excused." Bowie lied.
Raymond and the other's attention were dragged towards him, and he knew he must have said the wrong thing. Attention was the least welcoming thing he wanted at that time.
