Show(deathly) : Sam?
the intimidating tone of show's words, dumbfounded Sam, as he stood there. with his hands in his pocket, silent. the marks which show left on his face, the deep black marks, smeared across his lightly tanned face, was deeply glaring to the eye.
Show(with no emotions) : what the hell are u doing here?
Show said as he stared at Sam in the eye, with that gaze, terrifying enough, to petrify even the toughest of people. Sam turned away.
Sam(silently) : i've came. to apologise. to her.
Sam : I know you will never forgive me, neither will the whole bunch of you. im so sorry. to have landed her in such a state. i dont know how i can ever make up to her.
Show(Grim smile) : Yes, u can. you can start by getting out of here now.
Sam : I'm leaving Taiwan tomorrow, i wish her a speedy recovery, and once again, im really sorry.
Show(in a flat tone) : before you go, tell me, how did she get stabbed in her leg.
Sam : I'm also shocked at that. I did not stab her. i only had one thing in mind. but i swear. i did not stab her.
Show(frustrated) : till now, u are still lying? you are really incorrigible.
Sam(serious tone) : i can swear, that i did not stab her.
Show(agressive) : Then who did? Tell me.
Sam : I seriously do not know. i only knew that she was bleeding and u went off with her, as to how she got it. i seriously dont know.
Show(totally pissed) : you telling me she stabbed herself?
Sam : no, thats definitely not possible. it was someone else. someone i do not know.
Show : thats it, i cant stand it anymore. you either get out now, or i will throw you out myself.
Sam as he took the step out of the door, turned back to Show.
Sam : Believe me. i did not do it.
With that, he closed the door, and left the hospital. Soon, the rest came to visit Hebe, they declared that day, the relaxing day at the hospital, bring in cards, and board games to entertain themselves the whole day, and hoping that the light atmosphere would awaken her, however, the whole day, Show was very passive. everyone just told Show to get over it. and try and let loose a little. but Show was not thinking about that. he was thinking of Sam's last sentence. it kept ringing in his mind.
"Believe me. i did not do it"
a million questions flooded his mind. however, there were no answers, Hebe had no enemies. If sam had any, the target would be Sam, why Hebe. how did she get stabbed within such a short time, was someone tailing Hebe? if so, what does he want? or is it someone else hes after? Why? unable to take so much stress, he fainted.
[Hospital in the ward beside Hebe's]
Show(shouts) : NO! HEBE!
Jay : Woahh! Chill! its just a dream!
Show was sweating non stop, his clothes were drenched. everyone crowded everyone him, asking him whats wrong. what was the dream about.
Show : I.. i dreamt that Selina,Hebe and Ella were all kidnapped. and in that dream, right before my eyes, i could see Hebe dying . . . she was shot in the very same spot where the knife had cut her. it was the same person.
Jay : Show. what the hell are u talking about.
LH : Yeah. wasnt it all Sam's doing?
Show : NO! i met Sam earlier today..
Jay : WHAT? DID U WHACK HIM?
Show : relax, he told me something. i do not know whether to believe him. he insisted that he did not stab Hebe that day.
LH : thats bullshit. hes just trying to cover up.
Show : No. i believe him, when i went in, i could see that Hebe was still ok, but after i pulled Sam off, and whacked him, when i turned round, Hebe's leg was bleeding. i thought at first it was constant throughout. i guess it was not. there was a 3rd party at the scene.
Jay : U serious? who can that be? what does he want?
LH : Damn shit so theres another bastard?
Show : apparently so.
the 3 just sat together, and starting thinking of reasons, trying to link everything they knew togehter. into 1 picture. to solve the missing person.
[Hebe's ward]
Selina : Hebe, please wake up. everyone's very concerned about you.
Ella : Hebe, please. your parents are falling sick worrying about you.
[a short pause]
all of a sudden, Selina started crying clutching a earring in her hand. she couldnt control it. it was down pouring, it was unstoppable.
Selina(sobbing) : Hebe, dont u remember? that day, what we promised each other?
[Flashback]
On Selina's bed, the trio was talking about their life ambitions.
Selina : I wanna be a dancer! i've always wanted to be a dancer since i was young. i find dancing so elegant. so graceful.
Hebe : Oh? Wow! i've got something similar! i want to be a singer! since young people have called me andy lau! haha! i just waiting to sign up for a course!
Ella : Haha! well, i want to be a performer! someone who just go to stage, i dont mind being a dancer or a singer! im anything! see which one comes first!
All : Hahah!
Ella : Wait, i think i know of a place, which offers dancing and singing classes under one roof!
Selina : Really?
Ella : Yeah! how about next year, we sign up together?
Hebe : But.. we'll be in different classes anyway..
Ella : No! how bout we 3 sign up for every class together? then we all can learn how to dance and sing! all our ambitions come true together!
Hebe : Wow thats sound great! i've gotta start saving then.
Selina : count me in!
Ella : So thats it! After this year's final paper, we shall enrol!
Selina : Lets make a promise!
Hebe : how would you like to do it?
Selina : Lets.. exchange ear rings! each person will get 2 different ear rings!
Hebe : haha sounds good!
[End of flashback]
Selina : *clutches the earring tightly* now.. you have to wake up!
Ella : *starts crying too* as she held on to Hebe's other earring, as they hugged Hebe till they cried themselves to sleep.
