Selina : Hebe's dad is involved in a car accident!
Show(exclaims) : What?!
Teacher : Can u wait till after class? we are in the midst of a important lesson.
Selina : No, sorry! gotta rush off to the hospital now!
Jay : i'll follow.
Show,LH,and Ella moved to pack their bags,together with Selina and Jay. and with a last thank you bow, hurried out of class, flagged 2 cabs and went down to the hospital. on reaching the hospital, they immediately enquired with the nurse where Hebe's dad was. on going inside, they already noticed Hebe's mom was on the chair there, sobbing beside her husband. Hebe's Dad's leg was clearly injured, and he will need to be in a cast, for some time, and to undergo physiotheraphy sessions to ensure he will recover completely.
Hebe's mom(wailing) : Heaven's really unfair.. why must they always do this kind of things to us.. our daughter's in hospital because of a freak incident, now you, because of a vehicle accident.
Selina(comforting) : *offering Hebe's mom a tissue, auntie, please dont cry. what can we do to help you?
Hebe's dad : Lao po, we need to get me out of here, we do not have enough money to pay for the fees. it is by far too expensive for us, and Selina is already paying for Hebe, we cant make her pay for me too.
everyone stood there in a moment of silence, while Hebe's dad tried to pull himself out of the bed, together with his wife, his cructhes stood nearby. Jay who had to settle something with the nurses, wasnt present at the scene.
Selina : Auntie,Uncle. please, do not leave. i'll pay for your hospital bills.
Hebe's mom : No, we cant. we accepted too much of your money already.
Selina : dont worry about the money, just treat it as a loan first. u can take ur time to pay be back.
Hebe's mom : No, we couldnt.
Selina(emotional) : Yes. u can, just do it for the sake of Hebe. Hebe needs you guys to be well to take care of her, so please, accept my gesture.
Hebe's dad(tearing) : what can we do to repay your kindness?
Selina(beginning to cry also) : by.. getting Hebe to wake up..
unknown to them, was that there was a pair of eyes, looking in from outside, overhearing the entire conversation, and actions. that person, immediately left, when he heard Jay coming. Jay didnt know what had happened inside. so he entered with a cheerful smile.
Jay : How are u uncle!
Hebe's dad : *kept silent
Jay : wow.. whats up, why all so silent
LH filled jay in as to what had happened. the atmoshpere of silence, was nearly deafening. then show broke the silence.
Show : Hey, why so glum. lets just live life as it is ba, not use to dwell on it. nothing good's gonna come out from dwelling on it.
LH : i guess. show is right. lets just move on.
as the atmoshpere of silence was lifted, a lively chat rumbled throughout the room. but yet while everyone was light-hearted, show slipped out with a heavy heart. he went over to Hebe's room, and sat down on the chair beside her.
Show : Hebe.. when are u ever going to wake up, we all miss you. why wont u just snap out of your sleep? havent you been sleeping enough? everyone's worried for you, and yet u can be there, sleeping through it all. do you know that many things have happened?
Show : Hebe.. your dad.. have met with a car accident.
as those words slipped his mouth, Hebe's pulse rate immediately started going up. from the constant 83 bpm, it rose to a normal awake human pulse rate of 100. show's jaw dropped. he immediately started squeezing the button on the wall to call for the doctor. he pressed it repeatedly. anxious yet happy to know that there was a improvement, when those in Hebe's dad room saw a doctor rushing over to Hebe's ward, they immediately dashed over, fearing for the worst. but yet, they were greeted by a tear-stained grinning face of Show.
Ella : Hey, what happened. how come you are here?
Show(cheekily) : Well, i went out silently, and as to what happened, there is an improvement in Hebe's condition
Selina(elated) : What!? no kidding?
Show : Nope!
everyone gave a high-5 to each other, while Selina fell into Jay's arm, much to his amazement, while Ella and LH was playfully exchanging nudges to each other's ribs. Show was left there, isolated, all alone. but yet, he was the happiest of them all. the feeling grew within him, when the doctor came out, he was the first to burst out
Show : How is she doctor?
Doctor : very good! her condition is very good now. i wouldnt expect more than 1 day for her to wake up from her coma, she woke up due to everyone of you guys concern. continue supporting her!
LH : we sure will!
Show : Thank you doctor!
Hebe's mom heard it all, and when she went back to her husband's ward with the news, he was elated. they hugged each other, and cried in each other's arm. that scene, was very motivating.
the reminder went into Hebe's ward to check her out. they were all chatting happily, talking about everything under the sun, what they will do when she wakes up and all of the sort. just then, another letter slipped under the door, at first they didnt notice, but when show, was dis-engaged from the conversation, he noticed the letter lying on the floor.
Show : guys, look, another letter.
abruptly the conversation stopped. everyone turned to look @ show as he went over to pick up the letter. the letter was in hand writing, unlike those they received previously which was in computerised ink. it wrote.
"Dear Hebe,
I'm glad you have recovered and will be waking up soon, im glad for you. i hope you will recover rapidly and be back to your happy self once again as soon as possible! and, i was right! i knew i was right all along. im getting nearer! =)

Unknown"
everyone was shocked. what did the letter mean, what does "im getting nearer" means? everyone was shocked.
Show(mysteriously) : hey, do you guys notice that this is the same hospital which Hebe is in. ambulances usually bring the victim to the nearest hospital, but then Hebe's dad was brought here, what did it mean? was it purely a coincidence?

PS : i try not to put emotions into every line they speak, i did this to let u all imagine the tone, and voice of the person. i suppose this makes it more interesting to read. or does it? haha
