Selina(shoving): Excuse me... Excuse me...
at another side, ella was also shoving to get a better look at the notice. Hebe, was quietly standly behind waiting for the crowd to clear which she knew would, once everyone had knew what class they were in.
[School Gates]
As they enter the school, Show,Jay and LeeHom who have arranged to meet earlier, noticed the huge crowd accross them at the foyer.
Jay: Woah whats the big din?
Show(shrugging): Beats me
Lee Hom: i think. its the class posting.
Jay&Show: What... then lets go take a look then!
behind the huge crowd in front of them, they were at a loss as to how to get a glimpse at the notice. as they were very polite, they decided to wait for the rest to clear as Hebe did.
Show(Pointing towards Hebe): hey i know that girl!
Jay&Show: Oh... wow u know a nerd. congrats
Show: >_<
Jay: Hey, the girl that was throwing tantrums!
at this moment of time, Selina who was wearing a rather expensive blouse, was being stained with the sweat of many and she wasn't taking it lightly, the look in her face, the furiousity in her eyes, gave her away. however, she decided to concentrate on what she wanted to do.
Lee Hom: Hey Yeah.. i remember her.. do you show..?
Show:....
Lee Hom: Show...?
show was still thinking about Hebe as the one who took his cab, knowing that there was something that attracted him, just that he didnt know what, as he thought, he wasn't paying attention to Lee Hom.
Lee Hom(Shouting into his ear): SHOW!
Show(taken a back): .. whatt u dont have to shout right!
Lee Hom: i called u 2 times?
Show: really?
Lee Hom: u are in deep shit.. falling in love with a nerd aint u?
Jay by the side starting chuckling.
Show: .. nooo..
Lee Hom: admit it...
Show: Lets change topic.. lets go see our class now!
The crowd was clearing and in front of the notice board, Lee Hom noticed Ella wearing her usual sporty wear.
Lee Hom ( Shouting and Waving ) : Hey Ella!
Ella: Oh Hi! same class arent we? ( nudging him in the ribs)
a tinge of electricty ran through Lee Hom although he did not know why. he decided to brush it aside and reply,
Lee Hom: Cool! looks we are gonna have more chances to arrange basketball matches!
Ella: Hmm, okies..
Lee Hom: by the way, this is Jay, and Show. and shes Ella.
Ella: Hi guys.
Jay&Show: Hi Ella
Jay(exclaimed): Woo! all same class! gonna be a great year!
Show(quietly): same class as her! gonna be a great year!
Jay(questionly): whats that u said show?
Lee Hom: dont disturb him, hes lovesick. haha!
Ella(immediately trying to blend in): who who?
Jay&Lee Hom(points towards Show): Him
Show(denies to a pathetic extent): noooo.
Jay&Lee Hom: here she comes.
Hebe was slowly walking towards the front, taking really cautious steps to ensure she does not step on anyone's foot. she took a look at the notice and walked away. just then, the bell rang for the first lesson.
Jay,Lee Hom,Show,Ella: lets go for class!
[Commerce Class]
Teacher: Ok, i read the personal profiles of all of you, and know that most of you come from different schools and have hardly any friends. to firstly facilitate friendship, i am going to organise the girls with girls and guys with guys. please, organise yourself.
[An interval]
nothing stirred.
Teacher(resignedly): ok, looks like i gotta do it. front row starting from the left, Selina,Sarah,Shan,Mellisa. second row, Ella,Hebe,Qiao En,Shi Jia. for the boys side, i think u guys arranged yourself already, since most of u all come from groups.
Teacher: Alright, first lesson, first term, first subject, introduction, lets start with the girls. Selina you are up.
Selina: Hi, i am Selina and i am 20 this year, i was born in Taipei, love to go shopping. my dream is to be a dancer.
then on went sarah,then shan, then Mellisa.
Ella: Hi, i am Ella and am 20 this year, i was born in Taipei, love to play basketball, my dream is to be a performer.
on hearing that Ella loves to play basketball, there was a roar of approval from the class.
Teacher: Next,Hebe..
Hebe was literally hiding in her desk, she hated introductions, she hated talking to large groups of people. Hebe dragged herself half due to fear and the other half due to not knowing what to say.
Hebe: Er.. er.. err... hi... i am.. He..b..e a.nnd.. i am.. 20 this year.. born in Taipei... no particular loves, dream is to be a singer..
on hearing that such a "nerd" wanted to be a singer, there was immediately a chuckle going round the class. Hebe, familar with this scenario, immediately walked back to her desk.
Show(stern tone): Stop that chuckling.. whats wrong man..
guys around him: u serious dude? haha u are one weird guy.
Lee Hom&Jay: just leave him be but stop laughing at other people.
Soon, it was Lee Hom. as usual, they played a draw lots and apparently Lee Hom lost again.
Lee Hom: i am on behalf of Jay,Show and myself to give an introduction. we 3 love to play basketball, all of us are 20 this year. Jay and myself have no current aspirations while Show wants to be opening a charity for poor children. thats about it...
Soon, after all the introductions, the class started.. as the teacher ranted on and on, Ella decided to take this chance to know the people around her.
Ella: Hi, my names Ella your name is?
Hebe: Hebe.
Ella: you have stage fright?
Hebe: I just don't really like to commuciate with large masses.
Ella: oh, i see haha. what do u like?
Hebe: I can't like much, since young i've been very poor and have to work to enrol myself to school, if there's anything i like, it will be my ex-bosses..
Ella: sorry to hear that, hope we can be friends!
Hebe: Definitely haha!
Selina who was trying to concentrate on the lesson could not help but eavesdropping on their conversation. she turned around,
Selina: Hi! im Selina you guys are?
Ella: Hi! I'm Ella and shes Hebe.
Selina: Oh, haha i see! nice to meet you!
Ella: Same.
Hebe just nods
Selina: lets have reccess together later?
Ella: I'm game. Hebe?
Hebe(in soft tone): anything
Hebe who always had a slight inferiorty complex to those richer than her, on seeing Selina, that feeling grew within her. she could not help but turn away from Selina and not dare look into her eyes when speaking to her.
Selina: Hebe, whats wrong?
Hebe: No..thing..
Jay who was on the other side of the room, noticed the 3 girls chatting. he could not help but feel that the spoilt brat, Selina was pretty attractive despite her weird ethics. not wanting to think about girls for the time being and not let especially Lee Hom know, he decided to change his vision line and instead listen to the teacher.
Soon, The Bell rang, and everyone walked out of the class room, each with their new group of friends, on the way to have their first meal break of the semester.
