“Oh, of course you haven’t done anything…” JJ smiled.
The smile so cold, that it sent shivers down all 3 girls who were already cowering in the corner.
“Its your father.” JJ’s eye stared far away, as though he could see something that noone else could.
“But, before I get there…”
“Let me first apologise to someone in this room.”
JJ strode over to Hebe, who was literally shivering, and quivering in fear. Whatever she had learnt in her martial arts class, was hardly necessary. She was still a girl after all. She lacked the courage to stand up to them, the sight of many men, was too daunting for her to bear.
“Hebe…” JJ squatted down in front of her, looking into her eyes
Hebe immediately turned away from him, as she looked at the wall.
“What do you want?” Ella asked fiercely
“Leave Hebe alone!”
“Good friend you have eh Selina?” JJ said sarcastically
“You don’t deserve them.”
“Anyway, back to where I was…”
“Hebe, I’m sorry…” JJ spoke, with genuine sincerity in his voice
Hebe turned and faced JJ. Both Ella and Selina’s mouths were agape. The most dominant thought was “ Why is JJ apologizing to Hebe. When he is kidnapping us? “
“Why?” Hebe asked, with a tinge of irony in her eyes.
“I was the person, behind everything. The person who stabbed you, the person who wrote you those anonymous letters.Even Sam.”
“For those deeds, I’m sorry.”
“I just had to do it.” JJ shook his head
“But, why?”
“REVENGE!” JJ screamed
“If you ask me, would I have done worse to you, I probably would have.”
“Ultimately, there is only a winner, and many losers, you were one of those.”
“Are you mad?”
“I probably am.” JJ started laughing uncontrollably, hysterically
Ella hugged both Selina and Hebe together, trying to draw as much reassurance in this perilous situation. With a insane person, full of vengeance. It was as though, their end was nigh.
