It’s the end of another story.
After having starting this fic since 1-2 years ago, I’ve finally completed it and I’m feeling quite happy with another achievement. Perhaps, some of you are looking at me and asking ‘why didn’t I let them reunite’? The truth is, I thought about letting Raymond and Tavia reunite and end it happily, but…you know, I wanted to try a different ending. I have never written a ‘sad’ ending for FungYi before (with the exception of one short story, haha…but most of them are like ‘happy’ endings). I wouldn’t say this is a ‘sad ending’ because Raymond didn’t die…and Tavia? Maybe she’s still alive…who knows, right?
Yes, I know there a lot of unexplained events/things and I did it on purpose. As some of you have probably already guessed, there will be a sequel to DM. So, don’t miss the characters too much, haha. Whether Tavia will come back in the sequel or not…well, she is the female lead! As for Sammul who is still in the coma, maybe he will never wake up.
The DM casts will come back, but with also new characters added. If you do realize, I have hinted them in the last two chapters or so. Raymond will come back…slightly changed from the way he was before, I can tell you that. Also, I have a big surprise in store for you all, but I won’t get carried away. It’s for the sequel which I’m not sure when I will start it.
Anyway, thanks for all the readers for being patient with me (and my sometimes slow, sometimes fast updates). Thanks for all the comments! Especially, reading the long ones makes me wanna write and update faster, haha…
