“No,” Raymond confirms, and with that, gently kisses Rain on the forehead, “Good night.”
Rain, opening her eyes from the gesture, “Good night.”
As Raymond took off in one direction, Rain stood in the same spot for a brief moment, before turning around and seeing Edison.

“Sorry,” Rain apologizes, as both Edison and her stood at the edge of the port, looking up at the night sky, with a gentle breeze coming across them.
“Why should you be sorry,” Edison says, understandingly, “I should be saying congratulations, you found someone whom you truly am concerned with, and I know Raymond Lam truly does love you.”

“Uncle Chun,” Rain acknowledges as she looks up from the desk in her study and sees Chun Pui.
Chun Pui takes a seat across from Rain, “Up so late, aren’t you worried Raymond Lam doesn’t like his girlfriend having big bags under her eyes,” he lightly teases. Seeing that Rain was surprised by his knowledge, “A few of my men saw the two of you together this afternoon,” he explains.
“I don’t know why, but this afternoon when I heard that someone had been hurt, I immediately panicked that it was him,” Rain confesses.
Chun Pui understandingly accepts, then asks, “Does Edison know?”
“I talked to him this evening,” Rain says guiltily, “He wished me the best.”
Chun Pui smiles, “I admire the right guy, whether it be with his professional life or his private life, he still handles it with class.”

As Rain and Raymond were walking the mall hand in hand, Raymond’s cells starts to ring. Raymond, no letting go of Rain’s left hand in his right, turns his cell on with his left hand.
“Mimi,” he says, after seeing the caller ID. After making that comment, he didn’t have a chance to say any more, as he kept listening to Mimi on the other end.
Rain, seeing Raymond’s expression change as he continues to listen to the other end, gently squeezes his right hand reassuringly, as they both look at each other with a comforting smile.
As soon as Raymond hung up, Rain asks, “Something wrong?”
“Mimi called and told me that Michelle’s flight here will arrive in an hour,” Raymond informs, still in indecision.
“You’re unsure of whether or not to go,” Rain expresses for Raymond. “You don’t want to go and somehow give her hope, but at the same time, you don’t want to leave things up in the air.”
Raymond smiles, “Somehow, you can manage to always read my mind.”
Rain returns the smile, “Can you tell of what I’m thinking about right now?” she asks, then tells him, “I’ll go with you.”

“Michelle!”
Hearing her name, Michelle turns to her right, seeing Mimi running up to her, with Matt following behind. Hiding her disappointment of no sign of Raymond, she greets them, “Hey,” she says, giving Mimi a hug, and then to Matt.
“So did you bring us back lots of souvenirs?” Matt asks greedily.
“Nope,” Michelle taunts.
“Oh sure, I bet you got Raymond one,” Matt retorts, but then realizing what he said, couldn’t take it back.
Mimi elbows Matt in the chest as she glares at him, “I told you not to say anything stupid.”
“Michelle.”
Recognizing Raymond’s voice, Michelle quickly turns around to see him. Once she turns around, her smile immediately fades away. It was not only Raymond approaching her, but next to him, Rain too was approaching with her right hand in his left.
As both Raymond and her faces Michelle, Rain initiates the conversation, “Hi Michelle, remember me?”
“Yeah,” Michelle says weakly, forcing a smile, “Lawyer Lee.”
“Call me Rain,” Rain casuals herself, “Raymond has said many great things about you,” she comments, putting forth her hand.

“Can’t believe that Raymond has the nerves to bring Rain Lee to the airport,” Mimi freaks out in the front passenger seat, as Matt drives Michelle and her home.
Matt sighs, “Please, give it up, you’ve been going at if for the past half hour,” he informs, looking at the heavy traffic. “Even if your mouth isn’t tired, I’m sure Michelle is tired of hearing it.”
“Don’t you even say anything,” Mimi warns, “Raymond’s your best friend, of course you’re going to stick up for him. And I can’t believe that woman! She has the nerve to just come along and claim herself as Raymond’s girlfriend, what is she trying to prove!”
Michelle, sitting in the back seat, does not respond, only continues to look out the window over the bridge. Though Mimi had been ranting for the past while on how inconsiderate Raymond and Rain were, she knew clearly that she had finally gotten an answer to her question.

“Feeling bad?” Rain asks, looking at Raymond, who was sitting in the driver’s seat.
“No,” Raymond answers, taking a glance at Rain. “Michelle is understanding, she knows why the awkward moment was created.”
Rain smiles, “Seems like you know Michelle quite well,” she teases.
Raymond looks over at Rain and chuckles, “Am I sensing jealousy?”
“Over you? I don’t think that’s possible,” Rain plays along.
Raymond then takes his left hand off the wheel and takes hold of Rain’s right hand, “Thank you,” he says gratefully. “I know you put yourself into the ‘bad person’ position at the airport, so that Michelle and I wouldn’t have to feel so awkward around each other later on.”
Rain smiles at the appreciative gesture, and holds his hand in return, “I guess that’s what I get for being with Raymond Lam.”
