“Mr. Chen, there is a package for you in the mail,” she tells him, pointing towards the coffee table.
Not knowing or caring what the package, Edison forces himself towards it. Picking it up, he absent-mindedly opens it, and seeing a small, gray case. Opening the box, he is caught off guard by the antique watch inside. He quickly takes out the replica of his watch and looks at it. Without further delay, he looks around the package and sees a miniature card, reading:
Edison,
The old may be of great value and sentiment, but a new one can create a start of something new and just as valuable.
- Rain
Having read the card, Edison could not let out a sigh of frustration and doubt, holding tightly to the watch in hand.
Only moments later, a man walks in and calls on Edison.
“Edison, one of Kwok Lung’s men sent this message to you,” he informs Edison, handing him the piece of note.

Raymond, sitting at his office, continues to ransack through multiple files, hoping to find even a insignificant clue on the where-a-bouts of Rain.
“Raymond,” Michelle knocks and opens the door without permission, and informs, “Mimi called and said that one of Kwok Lung’s men went to see Edison.”

Edison, finding the deserted house on the side of a small village, walks in without a moment’s thought.
“Rain,” he calls out her name in hope for a response. Just as he turns the corner of a stairway, he sees a terrified Rain tied up. “Rain!” Immediately untying her, Edison pulls off the tape across her mouth.
“Edison!” Rain cries out in fear and hugs him tightly, not saying any more.
Edison hugs Rain back, missing her presence and scent of existence, “It’s okay,” he assures her, stroking her back, “Everything’s fine now.”
Hearing his words, Rain quickly retrieves from the hug, “How did you find me? This must be Kwok Lung’s set up,” she tells him, getting up and pulling him up with her.
“Took you longer than we anticipated, guess we must have looked too highly on you,” a man, and six others, walk out from the front entrance, each holding guns and aiming towards Rain and Edison.
Edison, pulling Rain behind him, “If you shoot us now, then you can tell Kwok Lung to prepare for his family’s funeral.”
Trying to hide his concern, he sets the gun, aiming at Edison, “You wouldn’t test our patience.”
“Try me,” Edison warns back with certitude. “As soon as you let out the first fire, my men will be doing their job.”
Faltering between the decision, the man finally brings his gun down as the rest follows. Edison, closing his eye in relief, sighs and takes hold of Rain’s hand.
“Don’t move, Police!”
Hearing the call, all men return to their alerts and turns around to fire at the target, Raymond.

Edison pulling Rain to the side of an open staircase, instructs her, “Go out to the car, my cell phone is there, and notify the police. And don’t come back, drive as far away as possible.”
“No, Edison, I’m not going to leave without you,” Rain insists, holding onto his arm.
“If you want both Raymond and I to be safe, then you have to go,” Edison tells her.
Reluctantly, Rain let go of Edison’s arm, as he lead her around to the entrance.
Raymond, immediately catching onto Edison’s intention, assists in taking the distraction from them, firing in a different direction.
Edison, caring for Rain and avoiding the continuous shots, inevitably received a bullet in his left arm.
“Edison!” Rain gasps aloud, upon seeing the action happen before her.
“I’m okay, go,” Edison orders, pushing her out the entrance, not without the notice of the head assassin.

Rain, running at random to locate Edison’s car, instead spots Michelle, standing outside Raymond’s car and rapidly talking into her cell phone. “Michelle!” she calls out, running up to Michelle.
“Rain,” Michelle worries, ending her call, “Are you all right?” she asks as they approach one another.
“Yeah, Raymond and Edison are still in there, we have to call the police, now,” Rain rambles in frustration. Before she could continue, she let out a cry.

Raymond and Edison, having well trained in aiming and use of guns were down to two men. Using their advantage of being on opposite sides of the entrance, they look to signal at one another, then spontaneously switching positions, and shooting down the last two men.
Thinking that everything was finished, they fell to the ground, breathing heavily, as they look around the ground, seeing the six bodies lying lifeless.
Almost instantly, Raymond and Edison realized the fault in the count and look to one another.

As soon as Raymond and Edison ran out of the abandoned house and reach their vehicles, they witness the worse.
Choking onto Rain with his arm around her neck, and pointing his gun at Michelle, the head assassin looks to Raymond. “I’m going to let you have a choice, Sergeant,” he taunts. “You can choose to save either one of them, which one will it be,” he demands, setting his gun to fire.
Edison, holding onto his continually bleeding left arm, immediately looks to Raymond in response.
Raymond, looking from Rain to Michelle, could not decide, standing in defeat.
“I’ll count to five, and if you don’t decide by then, I will decide for you,” the man warns him. “One… two…”
Edison, Rain, and Michelle looks helplessly at Raymond, who continues to stand in debate with himself, looking to the ground, grasping for a response, then looking back up at Rain and Michelle.
“Three… four…” the man continues to count, “… five!”
