“No problem,” replies Rain, and asks, “Do you know where my friend, who came here with me is?”
“Rain.”
Rain turns to the call and finds Edison down the hall from her. Relieved to see him, Rain begins to walk up to him, as he too approaches her. “Is your hand all right?” Rain asks Edison, as they were in front of one another.
“This?” Edison restates, acknowledging his wound, “Definitely nothing serious compared to one of the meetings that I can encounter,” he says with a grin.
Rain smiles knowingly to the comment, and as they start to head out the double doors, Raymond enters from the same door.
“Hi,” Raymond manages to say, “Just finished having your report taken down?”
“Yeah,” Rain answers, then noticing Raymond’s wounded arm, “Is your arm all right?” she asks.
Raymond, remembering his wound, “Yeah.”
“We better get going,” Edison says, before any awkward silence occurred.
“Yeah,” Rain agrees, then turns her attention back to Raymond, “Good-bye Sergeant Lam.”
“Bye Lawyer Lee,” Raymond ends, as Rain and Edison leaves the police station and he continues his way in.

“Still thinking about him?” Edison asked Rain, who seemed to be driving in a daze.
“Who?” Rain asks, trying to think nothing of the question.
“Sergeant Lam,” Edison said directly.
“Why would I think of him?” Rain says, a matter-of-fact. “I think you’re thinking too much,” Rain comments, “You should get some of rest.”
“At your place?” Edison says with a grin, as he looks to her.
Rain smiles, “If you don’t mind sleeping in the guest room, I don’t see why I would.”

“Raymond?”
Raymond turns around to his name, as he just finished filling out a witness report from the afternoon’s incident. “Matt? What are you doing here?”
“No, I should be asking you that question. I thought you were on a date with Michelle today?” Matt reminds.
Raymond, finally realizing what was missing, “Michelle,” he gasped, before taking off out the doors, leaving a confused Matt.

Raymond, having speed his way to Clearwater Café, quickly parked his car, ran straight into the café, but only to find two employees in the café, preparing to close.
One of the waitresses, having seen him, approached, “I’m sorry Mister, but our café will be closing soon.”
“I’m sorry, I was just looking for a friend,” Raymond explains, “I was suppose to meet her here at noon.”
“Noon?!” exclaims the waitress, bewildered, “that was hours ago.”
Having overheard the conversation, the other waitress approached the both of them. “Excuse me Mister, but were you suppose to meet your female friend here at around 3 o’clock?”
“Yes,” Raymond quickly replies, “you saw her?”
“Yeah, I think I did. I worked here since noon ‘til now, and the Miss seemed to be here just as long,” the waitress explained, “She was actually our last customer to leave.”
“Oh, I remember her,” the first waitress recalled, “No wonder she seemed so disappointed when she left.”
“Do you remember what time she left?”
“Yeah, just about half an hour ago.”
“Thanks,” Raymond quickly bids, before taking off.

Chun Pui, taking seat at the dining table, “No, I have already taking the morning off, I still have a lot of papers to go through, I can’t take the afternoon off as well,” he explains, then finding that something was missing, “Sum Jie, where are this morning’s paper?”
“Oh, we haven’t received the newspaper yet, they must be running quite late,” Rain quickly explains, then changing the subject, “I left some papers up in my room, I better get them before I forget it for this afternoon’s meeting,” Rain says, excusing herself, as she heads upstairs.
Not long before Rain had gone, the doorbell rang, as the maid opened it to reveal Raymond and Matt.

“Uncle Chun,” Rain says in surprise, seeing Chun Pui face to face with Raymond in the living room, as she quickly went down the stairs, with Raymond watching her.
“Miss Lee, I’m surprised you didn’t tell your Uncle about yesterday’s incident,” Matt mocked in subtlety, “and the magazines said you two had a close bond.”
“Matt,” Raymond warns sternly, then turns to Rain, “Miss Lee, we would like for you to go under our police protection in order for us to arrest those who tried to attack you yesterday afternoon, for we feel that they may attack again.”
Before Rain could oppose the idea, Chun Pui answers, “Yes, she will undergo the police’s protection,” as Rain looked at Chun Pui in surprise.
