Michelle, looking away from the ocean towards Raymond, “Raymond, you really don’t have tot be sorry about anything.”
“I did come.”
Michelle gives a weak smile, “I know,” she acknowledges, but continues, “but it is because of this incident that I realized I don’t have that place in your heart as you do in mine.”
Raymond became speechless to the comment.
“It’s all right,” Michelle, explains, “I called Aunt Mary last night,” as Raymond looks to her, “I’ll be visiting her in Australia soon.”
Raymond, feeling guilty, “Michelle, you don’t have to do that.”
“I do,” Michelle, reveals, “I really do. I just need some time to get everything straight.” Then, looking into Raymond’s eyes, “Maybe when I return, you would have been able to figure out where I belong in your heart.” With that, Michelle turned away from Raymond, walking further away, holding in her tears.

Hugging her light brown teddy bear, Michelle tried to brush of that morning’s memory, as she sat alone in bed, turning to the night sky.

”Rain.”
Just before Rain stepped into her office building, she turned to the call of her name, seeing Edison approach her. “Thank you,” Rain responds, as Edison handed her a bouquet of white orchids. Then, looking to his smiling expression, “Is it just me or do you like white orchids?”
Edison smiles, “I don’t even like flowers,” and looks at Rain, “but I assume all woman love flowers, and white orchids especially math you.”
Changing the subject, “Haven’t seen you in a while,” Rain says, trying not to show much concern.
“I was preparing for my business trip this afternoon,” Edison explains, “That’s why I came to see you this morning, before leaving.”
With a sarcastic smile, “Ironically, I’m not sure whether or not I should wish you a safe trip,” responds Rain.
Edison grins, “As long as I know you’re safe,” he says, looking across the street and spotting out Raymond and Matt in a car. Upon that, Edison turns to Rain and give her a soft kiss on the cheek. To a rather surprised Rain, “I’ll be back in about two weeks,” Edison told her, as he then left.
As Edison left, Rain turns towards her right and for one moment, Raymond and her eyes met. Rain then quickly turned away and went into the building.

“Miss Lee,” Raymond calls, gently knocking on her opened bedroom door, “supper’s done.”
Before Raymond turned to leave, Rain called after him, “Lam Sir.” Once Raymond turned back around, “You can just call me Rain.”
Raymond smiles to the comment.

Walking towards the dining table, Rain sees an actual meal set out and looks at Raymond.
Raymond, seeing Rain’s expression, “I know that you’ve had to put up with take-out for the past few days since undergoing the police’s protection, so I thought I’d make the supper tonight,” he explains.
“You cooked this?” Rain asked, questioningly yet impressed.
“I guess,” Raymond answers, giving a grin.
As they ate supper together at the dining table, across from one another, Raymond reminded, “In a few days, if nothing occurs, you’re allowed to cancel the police’s protection.” Then reluctantly, he adds, “but if Edison-“
“Edison and I are just acquainted,” Rain, explains with minimal effort, “if he does go after who attacked us, it’s not in my ability to stop him.”
Before Raymond could respond, a continuous ring on the doorbell interrupted them, as Raymond went to answer it.
Upon opening the gate door, Mimi comes charging in, pulling Raymond by the arm, “Hurry up, there’s no time, Michelle’s still at home right now.”
Raymond, surprised by Mimi’s actions, stays in place, “What are you talking about? What’s going on?”
“Michelle, she’s taking the late night flight at 11:30 p.m. to Sydney tonight,” Mimi tells Raymond, who stood in shock from the news. “Come on, you have to get her to stay,” Mimi says, once again pulling Raymond along.
Pulling out from the initial shock, Raymond shrugs Mimi’s hand away.
Mimi, confused by Raymond’s reaction, looks at him.
“If Michelle decides to leave for the time being, I’m sure she’s doing what she feels is right,” Raymond explains unconvincingly.
Mimi, looking at Raymond with frustration, quickly glares over at Rain, who had stood in silence off to the side, before she took off in disgust.
After Mimi’s disappearance, Raymond looks over at Rain.

”Did you call him? Is he coming?” Michelle’s mom pestered her dad, as they stood in the airport. “Where could that Raymond be?”
“I already called him,” Michelle’s dad explains, then looking offside to where Michelle was standing, by the entrance gates. Walking up to her, he gently comforts, “I’m sure Raymond will come,” as Michelle can only give a hopeful smile in return.

As Rain slept restless in bed, she glances over at the digital clock on the night table, reading 11:10 p.m.
Getting up, out of her bed, Rain heads out of her bedroom and down the hall. Upon entering the main room, she sees Raymond sitting on the sofa in the living room, deep in thought. “Raymond” she softly calls out.
Raymond, pulling out from his trance, looks up in surprise to hear Rain call his name.

”Time for my flight,” Michelle tells her parents and Mimi, giving up.
“Wait until Raymond comes,” her mom urges.
“Yeah,” Mimi agrees, though doubtful, “he might be coming right now.”
“No, Michelle replies, as she disappointedly turns away to board the plane.

“You might still be able to make it if you leave this very moment,” Rain informs Raymond, looking for his response.
Raymond, not looking to her, but rather down to the ground, slowly shakes his head, “No.”
