"Mwoh?! Seriously?! Are you nuts?!" I shouted at my manager.
"I'm sorry,Taemin-ah. But their schedules are packed tomorrow,unlike yours. I'm afraid you'd have to be spending your birthday at your hometown alone." Manager hyung told me calmly,unable to meet my eyes.
"But--" I argued.
"I'm sorry,that's all I can say." He walked out of my room,leaving me dumbfounded.
I can't believe I'm going to celebrate my birthday alone this year.
My other hyungs had either an MV Shooting or is invited to a variety show.
I'm the only one left without anything to do on my birthday.
I paced around my room and thought,'At least Umma would still be there to celebrate my birthday.'
My phone in my pocket vibrated, bringing me back to reality.
-Umma- It read.
"Yeoboseyo?" I answered.
"Taemin-ah,its Umma.You're coming here tomorrow,I heard." I could hear her gripping tightly onto the receiver.
"Nehh.Is there something wrong?"
"The thing is,honey..I won't be home tomorrow...B-but your sisters will be!" She added quickly.
"But why?" I asked.
"I have to go to your Aunt's house tomorrow.She's having some house-problems.I'm sorry, honey." She reasoned.
"Araso..Bye Umma." I hung up.
So,I have to celebrate this year without my hyungs,nor my Umma.
It's just going to be me and my sisters. [A/N: I have no idea if he DOES have sisters in real life,so the characters in here are Fictional. Sorry.]

"Sis! I'm home!" I knocked on my front door.
Finally after a long 3 hour trip back to my hometown,with my backpack full of clothes(and my music stuff,like MP3 & a video recorder) I reached my ever so wonderful home.
"Taeminnie! Is that you?"I heard Taerin noona calling from in the house,followed by a course of murmurs.
A few seconds later, Taebin noona's head popped from behind the front door with a smile.
The door flew open and out came my two elder sisters(followed by my eldest sister's boyfriend,Seunghoon).
They gave me a welcome hug and brought me in.
The house hasn't changed at all since I left the last time(even the doodle I used to draw on the wall didn't fade away).
Though,the atmosphere did change.It felt suspicious.
"So,how's life with your bandmates?" Taebin started as she continued cooking with her boyfriend.
"It's okay,I guess.Not so stressful.When is Umma coming home?" I answered lazily.
"I don't know,she said as soon as possible." Taerin settled down beside me.
"Hyung,aren't you tired of my sister's blabberings? I mean,I can't even stand a single day of her blabbering and you've already been with her for almost a year.No offence,sis." I turned my head as I spoke.
"Well,that's 'cause I don't. I rarely listen to her anyways." He replied,getting a nudge from Taebin.
"But we still love you anyways." He added.

The afternoon passed like a breeze,filled with past memories.
My phone vibrated for the first time that day.
-Jonghyun hyung- It read.
'Hey,maknae! Happy birthday! You do know that we're ALWAYS watching you,right? -From your SHINee hyungs.'
'What do you mean,hyung? LOL.Thanks for the birthday wish! -Maknae.' I was about to send it to him when I felt someone blocking my sight.
I felt Taerin's hand tying a piece of black cloth over my eyes.
"What is it, noona?" I asked,trying to hide my excitement.
"Ohh,nothing..You'll find out really soon." Th sound of footsteps faded,the front door creaked open,and more footsteps coming nearer.
Murmurs were heard and in no time,my vision came back.
Right in front of me,was a big cake. Let me give it more emphasis, A BIG CAKE!
There,standing in front of me,were my beloved family members,and four of my SHINee hyungs(whom I also loved dearly).
They sang Happy Birthday to me and wished me best for the year.
At the end of it all,Jonghyun hyung came up to me.
"Told you we're ALWAYS watching you. Happy Birthday,Maknae!"

Sorry I'm a day late!
I was a second close to posting it yesterday,when Winglin suddenly decided to play with me.
AND I DIDN'T SAVE A COPY OF MY ONE-SHOT ON MY COMPUTER.
