“Yes, Mr. Wong?”
“Have you found my brother?” Felix barked at his secretary
“Not yet, I called your house, but Gallen has not been home since leaving your father’s office last night”
“Well, send everyone in the office to find him. I’ll treat everyone to lunch tomorrow, but I need him in my home office as soon as possible!”
Felix snapped the phone closed irritably. He had the idea Vivian, his secretary, did not want Gallen to be found. Young girls were so gullible. Gallen was obviously a bad lot, yet those silly girls kept falling for him. Look at what he’d done! He had sent their father to a rage which killed the old man! No words could describe the mixture of feeling Felix had this morning when he learned the horrible news from the police.
And what nonsense Roger said… Who would want to murder their father? Roger’s career had probably distorted his mind so much. Everywhere Roger looked, there must be something fishy. Why didn’t he just simply accept the fact that Gallen sent their father to his death? With dismay, Felix recalled Roger was always on Gallen’s side.
“Wait until I have my hands on you, Gallen!” Felix seethed. “I’ll make sure you will be sorry!”

“You are telling me that with 15 people and the whole 12 hours, we can not find my brother?” Felix roared. Vivian mumbled an apology. She didn’t know how she could stand his unreasonable attitude up to this moment without snapping back.
“Don’t apologize to me! It doesn’t help! Go find Gallen!”
“But, but..” Vivian protested weakly “It’s almost midnight now, I have to go home or my Mom will be worried…”
Felix grumbled in distaste “Don’t you know you should call her and inform her? Need me to teach you?”
Vivian dropped her mouth in disbelief. Her wide eyes were tearful by now. How could Felix be that rude?
Just as that moment, the office door flung noiselessly open…
“Vivian, go home! Sorry for the trouble!” A familiar voice said from behind made Vivian spin around.
In the mid of the ajar door stood the man she’d desperately tried to find all day long. Vivian couldn’t help but smile. So he was all right! But immediately Vivian felt nausea of panic inside. It wasn’t enough time for Vivian to do anything, as Felix stormed toward his younger brother.
“No, Felix, please!” Vivian screamed
Too late, Felix’s direct punch sent Gallen to the ground of the unlit hallway. Felix didn’t stop. His rage sent him over the edge. He stepped forth as Gallen tried to get up, and delivered the second blow. Gallen’s body slumped down again.
In the dimmed light and through her tear, Vivian could still see Gallen eyes. His eyes spoke all. Vivian’s blood froze…
Remorse! He wanted to be killed.
Vivian rushed over, but the hallway was too narrow for her to get pass the furious Felix, now kicking madly at his brother’s ripcase. Gallen grunted in pain. Vivian was desperate, then her eyes caught the glimpse of a large vase on the small decorating table… Grabbing it and using all her strength, Vivian brought the vase to Felix’s head.
