So that how a kiss was like… Nothing on Earth!

Aw, he kissed me! He did! He kissed me!

These lips, his very lips, his beautiful lips! I finally, finally tasted them… Not in my dream, but right here, just now... Aw... Even in my wildest dream, it'd never been this amazing...

Heavenly!

He was in love! Gallen was in love! With me! Oh... Dreaming? Illusion? No, he told me so…

Oh wait, did he tell me so?

“Maybe it’s just fate!” Gallen had said the day I stumbled onto him on Darling Harbour.

I still had not had the chance to ask him what he meant by that…

“She’s been the meaning of my life…” He had crushed my heart, only to melt it the next moment “until you knocked my camera off that day…”

The soft background music must have played a joke with my imagination, I had thought.

But then it proved me wrong - the magical sincerity in his eyes!

I could die! Now that I have him in love with me!

Die?

Life had been too exciting lately, I had stopped thinking about this word for a little while…

Die!

I supposed I could, couldn’t I? But if I died, how would I about to touch this handsome face? To taste these wonder lips? To be lost in his eyes, for eternity?

Eternity!

If I must, I’d rather die in those eyes!

And not from a little defected valve on a silly organ residing inside my left chest! No! A thousand no! I wouldn’t want to be a second Eileen! I wouldn’t bear to think of him suffering the way he had over her death. As much as I admired Eileen to have a great man crying over her tomb, I wouldn’t want to follow her footstep.

“I won’t die!” I nodded to myself! Now I have more of the reasons to accept the transplantation. The first thing I’d do when I get back to Princeton - I made a mental note to myself - was calling Dr. Johnson.

I had now a wonderful man in love with me! There was no way I’d leave this world anytime soon…

Maybe I should call Dr. Johnson tonight!

“Flora!” his breath minty and his voice affectionate “Flora!”

I blinked. His gaze was dreamy in an irresistible way. Dr. Johnson and my ailment faded into the back of my mind “Yes?”

“Be mine” His whisper was musical afloat the ocean waves “will you?”

His hand, with long and slender fingers, sought for mine. His lips, cute yet daring, placed a butterfly kiss on my bare shoulder…

Dr. Johnson and my ailment faded deeper …

“Flora?” Gently, he cupped my face and locked my gaze in his. “Will you?” It was persuasive... It was alluring... It was him asking me! And I loved him so!

The last glimpse of Dr. Johnson disappeared as if never been in existence. I nodded.

He smiled perfectly, and gave my hand a tender squeeze…

Hi,

A very very short interlude, everyone, to answer your question of whether DH is coming to an end, ;) I'm afraid the kiss didn't secure Gallora just yet! :)

I do hope you will be enjoying the second half of DH just as much as you have loved the first part, ;) [Er... I just assume you enjoyed the first part, but it might as well be the case where you have just been trying to be my wonderful sisters, hanging around to show mimosa support, *hmmmm...*thinking***]

Anyway, just want to use this chance to thank you all for being here, ;)

Love!

Mimosa
