After the welcoming speech, students were allocated to their respective classes. They said goodbye to their other friends and promised to meet up during lunch. Edison and Vic were the only ones who took up Law. At first, Edison didn't like it as he felt it was too boring but he didn't know what to take up either. After talking to Vic, he decided to follow him since by taking up Law, there are a lot of opportunities for him and he does not necessary have to become a lawyer.
Ed: I can't believe I let you talk me into this! Just imagine, me, Edison Chen, studying Law!
Vic: Relax, you'll be surprise to learn that it is actually very interesting. I've done some research on it, trust me.
Ed: I know...but look at all our course mates! They are all so...so...boring
Vic: *laughs* Ed! We're here to study, remember?
Ed: I know but I'm also here for the girls!
Vic: *rolled up his eyes* Come on, let's get going. I don't want to make the grand entrance again.
Ed: Oh, can I go to the bathroom first?
Vic: No way! You'll take hours!
Ed: *looks at him with puppy eyes*
Vic: Arrgh! Fine! Go!
Ed: Thanks! Promise I won't be long, ok?
Vic: Yes, miss. I'll wait for you here *giggles*
Ed: MISS?
Vic: Only girls take that long in a bathroom you know!
Ed: I...I....
Vic: Shhh...Quick! Go in or I'll leave you here by yourself!
Ed: I'll get you later! *runs to the bathroom*
Vic shook his head and laugh. Sometimes, he feel as if Edison is his younger brother instead of a friend. He always have to look out for him and worry for him. As he turned around, he accidentally knocked into a girl. The girl dropped all her books on the floor.
Vic: I'm so, so sorry! I really didn't mean it!
*bends down and help her pick up the books*
Girl: No, no. It's my fault. I should watch where I was going!
Vic: No, it was my fault! I turned without even caring if anyone was behind me!
Girl: *giggles*
Vic: *confused* Why are you giggling?
Girl: Well, we're both blaming ourselves and this can go on like, forever!
Vic: *blushed* Oh, yeah. You're right. Anyway, sorry.
Girl: *smiles* Sorry too.
Vic: So, are you lost?
Girl: Oh no! I'm just waiting for a friend. She's in the bathroom.
Vic: Me too!
Girl: *laughs* You sound so excited! Girlfriend?
Vic: *blushed* No, actually a boy friend. But he's a sissy in the toilet, he takes ages!
Girl: *laughs*
Vic was shocked as he had never spoken bad about Edison in front of anyone before. Somehow, this girl was special and he felt so at ease in talking with her. The girl looked up and for a moment, their eyes met. Vic realized just how beautiful she is. He was mesmerized by her beauty and her personality. Suddenly, he had the urge to know her even better. However, before he could say anything more, the girl's friend called her.
Vic: Guess I'll see you some other time.
Girl: Umm...my books...
Vic realized that he had been holding onto her books after picking them up from the floor.
Vic: *blush* Oh, sorry.
Girl: Sure, no biggie. Happy waiting!
Vic: Um...may I know your name?
Girl: No, you may not, Vic Zhou! *wink*
The girl then skipped away happily to the friend, leaving Vic in shock. Right then and there, he knew this girl meant something and that she stood out from the rest. Vic had never come across any girl who had acted normally around him when they know that he is the so-called popular Vic Zhou. But this girl was totally normal and he was determine to find out her name. The Mysterious Girl.
Ed: Earth to Vic! Earth to Vic!
Vic: Ed! We're late!
Ed: I know! That's why I've been calling you for the past 15 minutes!
Vic: Were you? Oops...sorry
Ed: Come on, spill! Who's the girl?
Vic: Nonsense!
Ed: I know you better than yourself remember? I know it has got to be a girl!
Vic: *sighs* Alright, I know I can't hide anything from you. Yes, it is a girl.
Ed: Who? What's her name? Which class?
Vic: I wish I know but sadly, I don't
Ed: You're skill-less bro! Don't worry, we'll find her! I've got all my sources, just describe her to me!
Vic: She's just really beautiful.
Ed: That's all?
Vic: Relax! Breathe in, breathe out! Now, RUN! We're late for class! *laughs and ran off*
Ed: Hey, not fair! Wait for me!
