He was shocked when Eun Suh broke the news that Gillian is actually his twin sister. He was surprised and yet at the same time, he was happy. He was finally able to find the answers to all his doubts about his feelings for Gillian. He used to think that he was the unluckiest person on earth but now, he sees himself as the luckiest. He is blessed with two wonderful sisters, a loving girlfriend and a bunch of loyal friends. It all seemed so bizarre, as if God has planned everything out for them. First, He blessed Gillian with Nic so that he could lessen her pain. Then, He made Edison slipped into a coma to give a time space for all of them to let go of the pain. And now, He made Edison and Gillian as siblings. Everything has just fallen into place.
He has grown closer and closer to Eun Suh and Gillian and they would talk about their lives together. They talked about the past, the present and the future. Edison was eager to know more about their mother but when it came to their father, he somehow hated him. After hearing what Eun Suh and their mother had went through, it just broke his heart that his father was never there for them. His father was so useless that he couldn’t even protect his own children and could only watch helplessly as they were put up for adoption. Eun Suh told them that their Father really wanted to see them but he wouldn’t come until and unless they’re ready to see him. Right now, neither Gillian nor Edison is ready.
The day Edison was discharged from the hospital, Eun Suh finally felt that her job here is done. She has finished her degree here and she has finally found her siblings. She never planned to separate them from their loved ones, it is just sufficient to know that they’re both safe and most importantly, happy. They were both everything to her and they will always be on top of her list. But now, she knew that she had to return to her mother. Korea is where her home is and she missed it terribly. She spent a few weeks with Edison and Gillian, hoping to save the memories they have together so that she could bring them back to Korea.
Ed: So you’re going to leave, just like that?
Eun Suh: *smiles* Well, I’ve been here long enough. It’s time for me to return home.
Gill: *sobs* We’re going to miss you so much, Eun Suh
Eun Suh: *hugs her* Don’t be silly! You guys can always visit me in Korea and vice versa! Of course, you have to be able to walk again, Ed! Your parents aren’t letting you go anywhere unless you recover!
Ed: But it wouldn’t be the same….
Eun Suh: *hold both of their hands* I know I’ve told you this before but you probably don’t remember it. You may not be able to see me but I’ll always be in here *points to their hearts*
Ed: *giggles* Jie is in my heart!
Eun Suh: *laughs* You said the exact same thing when you were a little boy! Guess some things will never change, huh?
Ed: Really? Wow!
Gill: *teases* Guess he’s still a three year old! Never did grow up!
Ed: Hey! I’m your brother! You should learn to respect me!
Gill: Oh, didn’t you know? Please, Eun Suh jie. Tell him who’s the elder one!
Ed: We’re twins! Of course we’re of the same age! It’s just implied that since I’m a boy, I should be the eldest!
Eun Suh: *laughs* I sure am going to miss you two bickering! By the way, Gillian is elder than you by 3 minutes, Ed.
Gill: *sticks out her tongue* You should respect me, little bro!
Ed: Hey! Were twins! We should be equal!
Gill: *giggles* In your dreams, little brother!
Ed: *sighs* Fine, you win, Gil JEH!
Gill: *laughs* That’s my good little brother!
Eun Suh: You guys are…*sighs* I’m speechless!
Ed: So when are you leaving?
Eun Suh: Tomorrow.
Gill: What so fast?
Eun Suh: *smiles* Where got? I actually wanted to go today but the tickets were all sold out.
Ed: But we wouldn’t be able to give you a goodbye party!
Eun Suh: *laughs* I’m happy that I get to spend the time with the two of you. That’s better than any party! Plus, don’t make it sound as if I’m never coming back!
Ed & Gill: Does Won Bin know?
Eun Suh: *rolls her eyes* Twins!
Ed: *smiles* How are you guys getting on?
Eun Suh: We’re just friends.
Gill: You mean he doesn’t know?
Eun Suh: *shakes her head* Maybe it’s better this way.
Ed: No! You guys love one another so much. Don’t give that up just because of me!
Eun Suh: It isn’t your fault, Ed. We’re just…not meant to be.
Gill: How would you know? You didn’t even give him a chance!
Eun Suh: Look, guys. Let’s lay off this, alright.
Ed: I want you to be happy, jie. The only person who can make you happy is Won Bin.
Eun Suh: Who said so? You guys make me happy too!
Ed: You know what I mean….
Eun Suh: Come on, guys. Stop pulling that long face! It’s my last night here. Let’s not talk about this, okay?
Gill: But jie…
Eun Suh: *cuts in* I’m going home right now if you guys insist on talking about Won!
Ed: Fine. Fine. We won’t. Just promise us, you’ll think over it?
Gill: Yeah, Won Bin really loves you. You need to give him another chance.
Eun Suh: Fine. I promise I’ll think over it.
Although Eun Suh appeared fine on the outside, her heart was breaking into a million pieces inside. At the mere mention of Won Bin’s name sent her heart beating faster than the normal pace. She missed him terribly and wished things would turn out better for the both of them. The reason she didn’t want to tell Won Bin of her departure is because she was afraid that she would hurt him even more than she already has. Because of her, Won Bin has worked hard for his degree and finally graduated with distinctions. He is now working in his father’s company and they seldom saw him anymore. He claimed it to be work but deep inside, Eun Suh couldn’t help but to think that he is avoiding her.

Won Bin has buried himself in the workload to stop himself from thinking of Eun Suh. He didn’t know why but he was afraid of seeing her again and thus has not been to the hospital to visit Edison that often. He didn’t know why he was feeling this way but he thought that it was probably for the better if he stays away from Eun Suh for a while. He didn’t want to pressure and to add to the burden that she is already carrying. He wanted to apologize and to tell her how much he loves her but he kept postponing it until it’s too late. It wasn’t until much later that he learnt that Edison has finally accepted Eun Suh as his sister. In fact, he didn’t know until Edison called him up to tell him that Eun Suh is leaving in the next hour.
Won Bin was in the midst of meeting when Edison called and the moment he heard that Eun Suh is leaving, he rushed out of the conference room without another word, ignoring the secretary’s call. His heart was beating fast as he raced to the airport in his car, memories of the time they’ve spent together kept flashing in his mind. He didn’t want to lose her. He just couldn’t, at least not until she knows that he loves her. He has so many things to her suddenly and regrets begin to fill his heart.
There was a massive traffic jam and Won Bin only got to the airport at the very last minute. When he reached the airport, he panicked when he didn’t spot Eun Suh anywhere. He ran around the airport like a mad man, ignoring the stares people were giving him. There were so many people in the airport but none of them is his Eun Suh. All that matters now is to find Eun Suh. Frustrated, he collapsed on the floor screaming her name repeatedly. Tears were welling up in his eyes but he didn’t care.

Eun Suh said goodbye to Edison, Charlene and Gillian before entering the departure hall. She stopped dead in her tracks when she heard footsteps rushing towards her. With her heart skipping a beat, she turned. However, she was disappointed to find Nic instead. She took one last glance at the airport, her heart somehow wishing that Won Bin would be here. She didn’t know when she would ever see him again but for now, she only has his memories with her. All this time, her hands were holding on tightly to the Sunshine Of Dreams locket. Both Edison and Gillian tried their best to stall time for Won Bin but when the final call for boarding was announced; they had no choice but to let go.
Gillian, Charlene and Edison could only watch helplessly as Eun Suh disappeared from their view. They were disappointed that Won Bin didn’t turn up because they were hoping that they would at least make up before Eun Suh leaves. Just as Edison is about to wheel his wheelchair away, they all heard Won Bin screaming for Eun Suh. Only when the crowd starts to disperse, did they saw him. Gillian rushed to him while Charlene begged the officer to ask Eun Suh to come out again.
Officer: I’m sorry but that wouldn’t be possible.
Ed: Please! My sister needs to see this person!
Officer: I’m really sorry
Won Bin: Can you let me in instead? I promise I will be fast. I just need to talk to her.
Officer: I’m really sorry. This is against our policy.
Char: This is a matter of life and death! Don’t you understand?
Before he could reply, Nic suddenly pointed towards the door. There Eun Suh was, gripping the sides of the wall, gasping for her breath. She was on her way in when she heard her name. She recognized that voice and without hesitating, she ran all the way out again. She knew she just have to see him again, even if this would be their last time. Tears started streaming down her face when she saw Won Bin and upon seeing her, he rushed towards her. They looked at each other for a while before embracing each other in a hug.
Won Bin: How can you leave without saying goodbye?
Eun Suh: *sobs* I’m so sorry. I wasn’t thinking properly…I’m so sorry.
Won Bin: I love you, Eun Suh.
Eun Suh: *smiles* I love you too.
Won Bin: *tearfully* I’m so sorry for putting you through all this pain. I never meant to push you away. I love you, Eun Suh. I love you so much.
Eun Suh: It’s okay. Don’t apologize. I understand everything now, Won. I know.
Won Bin: Please don’t leave me…
Eun Suh: *sobs* You know I have to.
Won Bin: I’m really sorry…
Eun Suh: I’m not leaving because of you, Won. I’m leaving because I have to. Perhaps we’ll meet again someday?
Won Bin: I can’t let you go, Eun Suh. I don’t understand. We love each other, why can’t we be together? I’ll go to Korea with you!
Eun Suh: *sobs* You know you can’t, Won. You have your family and friends here; you can’t leave everything behind just because of me. Perhaps, this separation is good for us. Perhaps, when we meet again, we’ll both become better persons.
Won Bin: I will wait for you. No matter how long it takes.
Eun Suh: If Fate is on our side, we’ll meet again.
Nic: Geez…you guys talk as if it’s the end of the world! There’s still the cell phone, you know! There are such things as writing letters or e-mail or even chat rooms.
Ed: Yeah, and you can use Skype too! It’s free!
Eun Suh: *giggles through a tears* They’re right, you know.
Won Bin: *hugs her* I’m going to miss you.
Eun Suh: Me too.
Officer: A-Hem! Miss, your flight is about to take off. Do you still want to go?
Eun Suh: Yes, yes. Thank you.
Won Bin: This may sound funny but I’m letting you go because I love you, Eun Suh.
Eun Suh: I love you. Till we meet again, Won. Don’t cry. Give me a smile alright?
Won Bin: *forces a smile* Goodbye, Eun Suh.
Eun Suh followed the officer in, her tears blurring her vision. She dare not look back because she was afraid that if she did, she’d never be able to leave. She held on to the hope of seeing him again and strongly believed that they’re fated to be. Somehow or rather, Eun Suh just knew that they would meet again someday.
As Won Bin watches her disappear from his view, he broke down into tears. He seriously wonders how is he going to survive without her because he is already starting to miss her. However, he knew that he had to be strong for her and he will work doubly hard to be the person that Eun Suh wanted him to be. Together with the gang, they left the airport, all trying to be happy for Eun Suh.
