I never believed that something as typical as a car accident after a romance story would happen to my sister. Ever since that day, my life has never been the same. Everybody else lived a happy life, for some reason, my sister had no impact in anybody's life except mine. Miyu never came by to say hi or talk to me again because she was just too disappointed about the Yusuke incident.
Mikira was not beside me anymore, most of the time that I spent at home meant nothing to me. I've never felt so lonely in my life.
DING DONG
I ran to get the door, it was around 8pm, pretty late for one of my friends to call me out to chill.
Sora's head popped out the door, "Hey."
I was so surprised to see her here, "Wow, why you here?"
"Thought I came to visit, I know you're really lonely right now so wanted to entertain you?"
I laughed, "How are you going to entertain me?"
Sora shoved me over, "Don't think dirty, just thought we could eat this pizza together!" she held out a big box from behind her back. I could smell the hot cheesiness of the pizza as she opened the lid. When we were eating I couldn't help but stare at her the whole time. Even though Mikira's not here she did help bring Sora to my side. I tried getting closer to her but she thought I needed more space on the couch and moved farther away from me. Finally when we finished eatting I turned off the tv and stood in front of her, "I've always wanted to tell you this.."
Sora looked around, "You're going to make me forgive Mikira? If so, I already did."
I shook my head, "No, it's nothing like that, I LOVE YOU, that's it."
Sora's face looked really shock, I was really nervous and couldn't bare looking at her reaction but she replied calmly after a while, "I've always treated you as my brother, I don't think we should be in that sort of relationship. Maybe you like me so much, you thinking about something totally out of your mind."
I stared at her, she didn't like me, that's why.
"You still like Yusuke?"
I could tell that Sora tried to forget about him but I held onto her hands, "You won't accept me?"
"Sometimes you can't force things that don't go to match. You can't put a dress on a guy unless he really wants to. Same goes for me, even if I was desperate for someone, I don't want to force something and do what I shouldn't.'
For some reaon, it sounded like what I've been doing the whole time. I wasn't sure, but I thought I've loved her ever since I knew her. I know for a fact that when I see her with Yusuke I get pissed all of a sudden. Sora suddenly got up and insisted to leave, I tried to walk her home but she woudln't let me.
Sora walked into the building where the Izaki Twins worked quickly so no one noticed her. As she approached the elevator Yusuke saw her then hugged her. She didn't try resisting instead she held even tighter to him.
"Sora, I miss you, I really miss you."
Sora nodded, "I do too.'
"We have to be together again but without letting the press know."
Sora whined, "Why? Am I not good enough for you?"
"I just don't feel like explaining, don't you understand how I feel? Why are you like this? I let you come back to me and now you're complaining?"
Sora backed up, "What? Let me come back to you, it's like I'm your pet or something!"
Yusuke sighed, "Ok, just calm down girl. Now come back to me and let's pretend nothing happened."
"No," she shook her head, "What if I love you, you're not even treating me with respect, I'm a pet to you, that's all."
"It doesn't matter how I treat you all you need to know is I love you!"
Sora couldn't believe what she was hearing, she knew they loved eachother equally but how can she be treated like some kind of pet. Only minutes ago they were embracing, but now they will part again for the last time.
"Forget it, it's over."
Yusuke frowned, "I don't get you, fine, leave. But once you turn around you can never come back to me."
Sora hesitated for a moment but she would not change her mind. If being with him will mean having no status as all she should choose to leave.
"I've decided."
He held her hand one last time, "I don't get you, I gave you everything you wanted."
"You..didn't give me what I wanted most.."
He yelled back, "YOu even have more heart, what else do you want."
She started to cry, "You, all of you, not just part of you. I don't care how long we can be together, but everytime we've gone out yes your heart is with me however a bit is somewhere else. I've never attracted your full attention, you're alwasy worrying about being spotted with me or how your career goes. I want your attention, I wnat you."
"I'm sorry, I can't do that."
She cried a bit more, "THat's why we can't be together.."
SOra left like she said she would and never turned back, she didn't have Yusuke's heart and she broke Ryohei's. There goes a saying, "You hurt the person that loves you and loves the person that hurts you."
