Chapter 7

Hisato

Mikira arrived earlier to school than usual just to make sure nothing out of the extraodinary was happening. When she arrived, nobody was in sight as she entered the building a stampede of girls were running around. She tried following them but there were just too many. Mikira stopped a few girls but they gave her a glare and walked away. Mikira started to feel scared, she knew the whole school knew what she did, she's doomed. Miyu yanked her back to a corner and whispered, "What are you doing here? Go back home?"
Mikira wanted to burst out in tears, "You're my friend! How can you turn on me like those girls?"
Miyu patted her, "No, you got me all wrong, all the girls and guyz think you're just a bitch. They think you made Hiroki get hurt on purpose. There are many rumours going on, you're not safe. Go home!"
Behind them, there was a trail of screams, as Mikira turned back girls rushed past them like a bunch of hurricanes. The chaos was followed by sexy laughter, Miyu tagged behind the crazy girls. There not too far from Mikira was Hisato, she froze. Yusuke noticed Mikira then pushed Hisato to another direction. Mikira ran after them but there was just too many people blocking her. She sighed,"Why won't Hisato talk to me? We are friends, aren't we?"

Later in the day, Miyu found Mikira sitting by herself outside the school. She peered at her face then gasped, "What the hell, who did this to you?"
Mikira shook, "No one, just leave me."
Miyu took Mikira's hand, "WE're going to the principal."
Mikira stood up and pushed her away.
"What the hell are you thing, they did that to you and you still want to run away? Are you even Mikira?"
She sighed, "Just let it be," she paused for a moment to touch her face, "I deserve this, Hiroki's now handicapped, my fault."
"So you're saying, they can ruin your face because of that?!"
Two long shadows appeared in front of them, Mikira lifted her head then covered it with her hands immediately. Hisato took her hands away, "So is this what you get for making the guy lose his legs?"
Miyu backed off, she didn't want to argue with someone she admired but she couldn't help Mikira. Yusuke gave an evil smile, "This is Mikira, Hisato. She was the one that made you had that..you know."
Mikira puzzled asked, "What are you talking about, make Hisato have what?"
Yusuke paused for a moment, "See I told you, she's still pretending like she knows nothing."
Hisato sighed, "I thought my bro was kidding, you really did that to me."
Miyu looked away and covered her ears, she was not going to help either side.
"You two are making no sense at all, don't you remember Hisato, I was the one you love!"
Yusuke laughed, "You said exactly the same thing before you pushed him to hell!"
"WHAT? SHut up you a$$hole, you never helped me when I had trouble!"
Hisato took a step forward then slapped Mikira's face hard, his hand was covered with marker smudges. Mikira stared at him and gently touched her face.
"WOw look, he cleaned your face! Haha, if you know what I mean," laughed Yusuke.
Hisato looked away and sighed, "I didn't want to do that, but you were just acting like a bitch."
Mikira stared into the still air. No tears. No pain. But a lot of hatred was building up in her heart. She stood up and began to walk then turned back, "Whatever happened, I didn't act like a bitch when I was with you. I don't know what you heard, but if what I did for you deserved this hell of a slap, then you're not the Hisato that I used to know. You've just turned into another Yusuke."
Hisato stared at her then at Yusuke, "She didn't do what you told me she did. You must be lying."
Yusuke replied, "You believe her and not me?"
"Yes, I judge people by their eyes."
"What?! We're brothers."
Yusuke raised his eyebrow, "Don't brothers lie also?"
Yusuke turned away and left Hisato alone. Hisato sat down to calm down, if he had the choice he would have chosen not to go to this school. "I wonder if it it's fate.."
