“Hey, sorry, I got caught up at the last minute,” Ron apologizes, taking a seat next to Leila, catching his breath.
“Well, every other time we get together you’ve always done the waiting, so this makes up for it,” Leila points out, handing him a pair of chopsticks as the dishes were served to them.
“This one time makes up for the many other times you’ve been late?” Ron questions at the fairness.
Leila, swallowing her food, “Yup,” she confirms. “Why were you late anyway, on a date with Michelle?”
Ron looks at Leila, “We broke up,” he told her straight forward.
In shock, “Are you serious?” Leila questions. “When was this? You never told me about it. And of all things, Michelle didn’t even mention it.”
Ron, shrugging it off, “About a week or two ago, a few days after we got back from Tin Seung,” he tells her. “It’s not a big deal really, it was mutual break up, we knew it would happen at some point and time.”

“You broke up with Ron and you didn’t tell us?” exclaims Rain, as soon as Leila confronted Michelle of the situation.
“It’s not that big of a deal really,” Michelle brushes it off as she continues to brush her teeth while Leila and Rain stood around the washroom.
“Not the point dear,” Rain points out as she sits on the top of the rugged toilet lid, “The fact that we found out from Ron and not you is very hurtful.”
Leila, standing by the door, nods in agreement, “Exactly. If Ron never mentioned it to me, then that means Rain and I would never find out.”
“Yeah, well…” Michelle starts, as she washes out her mouth, “I assume Ron would be telling you anyway, especially since you two have been getting together lots.”
“Hey, what’s that suppose to mean,” Leila defends herself, “Can’t friends hang out together.”
Rain starts to pick up as well, “Michelle has a point,” she sides with Michelle. “You two have been seeing each other lots lately.”
“Yeah, well it beats you going out with Raymond, but never actually going out with him,” Leila points out.”
Michelle, taking interest in the topic, “Yeah, what is going on between you and Raymond, seems like you barely even talk about him unless someone else brings him up in a conversation.”
“There’s nothing really between us,” Rain says, then admitting, “And I think I mean it literally.”
Surprised at the sudden comment, both Leila and Michelle look to Rain, “What?”
“I don’t know,” Rain says, then getting up on her feet, “I’m tired, gonna go to sleep now!”

“Okay, you tried to steer away from the subject last night, but you can’t today,” Michelle tells Rain, as they walk along the street. “What is going between you and Raymond?”
Rain, not knowing how to answer, “I don’t know, it’s really hard to…” she cuts herself short as she looks to the couple in front of her.
Seeing Rain’s expression, Michelle looks to where Rain’s attention led and saw Raymond with the same girl from before getting out of his convertible. More unbelievably, the girl quickly leans over and gives Raymond a surprise peck on the cheek.

“Michelle called a while ago and said that when they went shopping this morning, Rain saw Raymond with the same girl from before,” Leila informs. “After that, Rain said she needed to go for a walk alone and she’s been gone since, and we haven’t heard from her yet.”

“Okay, I’m going to look for her right now,” Edison tells Leila, as he quickly got out of bed. “Call me if Rain comes home.”

“Rain,” Raymond calls out upon reaching her at the dock. Happy that she had initiated the meeting, he takes a hold of her hands, “You wanted to see me?”
Distinctly taking her hands away from his, Rain does not know how to start.
Raymond, feeling the tension, “What’s wrong?” he asks, taking a hold of her shoulder in comfort.
Looking at Raymond’s caring eyes, Rain forces herself to look him in the eyes, “I think we should stop seeing each other.”
Caught off guard and by surprise, Raymond does not process Rain’s words, “What? What are you talking about? Rain…”
“Raymond…” Rain tries to explain, “It’s really not you. I just don’t think…”
Before Rain could continue, Raymond hugs her tightly in his hold, whispering, “Don’t. Don’t do this to me. I love you.”
Rain, trying to hold back her tears that were swelling up, slowly pulls away from Raymond, “I’m sorry…”
Standing from aside, Edison witnesses the situation from afar.
